Bad fuel was one of the money makers when I worked at JD, many don't drain their carbs (run it out of gas) so the fuel gums up and kills the carb. Using an additive such as stabil is highly recommended as well, unless you can buy non-alcohol gas somewhere, and even then not a bad idea. But always run it out of gas before you put it up at the end of the season. Check your fuel lines as well, make sure there is no breaks in it, air enters and chokes the fuel/air mixture. I take it you replaced or cleaned the float valve to make sure it operated smoothly?

Oh, I understand the process, but again..pass. If this comes to us, you really think we will get a choice? -

FOID...unless you have identified yourself, how would that absolve you? If you identify yourself, then it has just made a defacto registration of a transfer, and it must save it otherwise how would they check? Nope, not a fan of anything like that. -

While I agree it should be online and free, if it comes to pass, it won't be either of those things. It's always about the money, and making it as difficult as possible for law abiding citizens to exercise their 2nd Ammendment rights. I personally don't do a bill of sale unless the other party wants one, if I sell a firearm, I'll state what the requirements are, it's up to the buyer to meet them. Of course if I sense something squirrelly I'll act accordingly, but I've only sold one, the rest have been trades so no issues so far. -
And here we go again, legislators thinking more laws will stop the illegal use of drones. They tried registration, they tried licensing and now want manufacturers to make it easier to ID the pilot...like the criminals are not going to disable that.

How can they even begin to declare insurance illegal? -
It's politicians like him that the 2nd Amendment was written for.

All the ants are under the feeder, apparently I got the wrong feeders, mine are leaking so will need to get the bowl version. I will look for the water barrier too when I shop for the new feeders.

Dick's Sporting Goods anti 2nd A

Appropriate name for that company! -
Just put out my peppers and tomatoes. I want to do sweet corn, radishes and some type of melon, but may have to buy seedlings for the melons.

Well dang, that's two hit lists I am on now.

I had heard of this happening elsewhere, didn't recall it being done here. Is that issue available still?

I had forgotten about Academy doing the whole hide the ARs thing. But I must say, it's better than those Dicks saying they will no longer sell them. I just ordered a micrometer for my hornady dies from them.

As long as there are people at the table that can vote our way, I'm ok with that.

I don't care about that number, due to the fact that multi-millionaire contributors can write a check for any amount we raise. I care more to learn the number of contributors, on both sides.
-
Cool, I had hoped our contribution wasn't just a small drop in a huge empty bucket.

Ah, good to know. I'll have to report all those dang spam messages that get through. I don't use the spam email's included "unsubscribe" link at the bottom unless it is a known company which I no longer want to receive emails from (technically not spam anyways).
-
Just as a technicality; how would the forum software know who reports the email to their provider? Lets take gmail for instance, many messages automatically go to the spam folder because they tripped gmail's spam logarithm. In this instance it's automatic, but when you report it as spam, are you saying it (gmail) reports to the offending email to it's originating server?

Against a frag, it would help some as the blast usually goes up and out, path of least resistance. But against bullets and direct shrapnel, nope not much help I would bet. Maybe if it was full of water it would help stop the bullets a bit better, but I would think it would run out rather quickly so would not last long.

THIS is what activism looks like. What is our side doing?

If you see something, say something. Don't have a bunch of us looking up the same info. You don't have to draw any conclusions for us, but some, like me, are not allowed on some of the research sites.
