  1. When I tried to login around 7:30a this morning and saw the "cat" hacking away, I knew things were headed south. LOL No problems from me. Everybody has an "off" day.
  2. I've seen comments on other gun forums about the 1099 reporting regarding Paypal as well.
  3. The Oak Ridge range has 22 RFBR matches on a limited basis, ARA/PS150 and maybe ABRA. They do have the NRL or whatever it is called, RF rifles shooting steel at various distances, moving/shooting from barricades, prone, etc. IF interested in BR RF matches ARA/PS150/ABRA then contact look here: https://www.americanrimfire.com/index.php/club/view/469 Not aware of any RF pistol matches, but if you want to shoot a RF pistol in ARA/PS150/ABRA matches, Contact Benji at the above link. One or two shooters from GA come up and have a custom 22LR BR pistol, 16 or 18" barrel, and competitive with it. This is NOT an off the shelf pistol by any means of the imagination.
  4. Sorry for your loss, prayers.
  5. What's that sayin' of "IF it's a rockin', don't come knock'n" LOL
  6. I've got the 22 cal Crossman pellet rifle from my "younger" days, after years of neglect, I sent it off for refurbishing, and it shoots just as good now as it did. Deadly on those pesky birds around the house.
  7. Mickey D's large sweet tea is now $1.69 in my area, up from a $1.00.
  8. Whenever I visit the forum, I always use the "unread" feature, makes my life a bit easier than bouncing thru all the various forums. I use this feature on all forums I frequent, so it's great for the daily visits. Yesterday I got a a couple three pages of the closed ad comments in the unread feature. No biggie from my side, appreciate the work you guys do to keep this a good place to be.

    Snow!

Was the wind blowing? Crawl space fairly air tight when any foundation vents closed??? When we built our current house I had the contractor keep ALL water lines away from the foundation walls except for the outside facets as I had a frozen pipe about 30 yrs ago on Christmas Eve with family coming the next day. I found the frozen section before the plumber arrived, and there was a quarter inch gap where the wind came thru overnight on one of those rate single digit nights we have here in E TN. Only cost me $75 to have the burst pipe repaired, but this was 30 yrs ago too. I use those foam facet covers on the outside facets now, and also installed that split foam pipe insulation on all of the water pipes under the house. Don't want any more of those frozen pipes for me. LOL
  12. They have a difficult time "winning". LOL

    Snow!

We got 1-3" depending on which side of the house you look. Had no satellite signal when I got up at 6am or so, went out thru the man door in the garage, stepped off the concrete pad and snow up to my ankles. Had crocs on, bad decision there. Sat dish on the front of the house facing due South, it had 2" of wet heavy snow over the entire dish. Removed the snow and signal came back. The back porch is on opposite end of house, facing due North and is screened in. Frozen ice/snow mixture covered the screening material from the top to bottom, which is about 8' tall. Basically could not see thru the ice/snow mix that was frozen to the screening, the screen door was almost frozen shut. Had 4" of snow on the step at this door., with some slushy ice under the snow. The concrete pad in front of the detached shed facing south, had no snow or ice on it, but the driveway which runs north/south was covered in slush. LOL We had some decent winds whipping around here, swirling the heavy wet snow around like a tropical storm apparently.
  14. I wonder if AL didn't play just "well enough" to win the game, aka "sandbagged it" to not show anything in preparation for the next game. ??????
  15. I agree with Mich losing, but not sure about AL. A SEC champion would be good, but Cinn winning it all would be interesting to say the least.
  16. If you head over to Tellico Plains for those sites mentioned above, go on up the river (aka Chahalla Skyway) to Bald River Falls. Go there when it's really cold, or after some heavy rains so the falls will be really flowing. The Skyway will take you over to Robbinsville, NC, a nice road with good views of the mountains. There is also a TWRA trout farm on one of the side roads, can see some really big trout as well.
  17. Best wishes for nuttin to happen. Hope you don't feel bad, get sick, etc. You might want to reconsider getting tested, especially if you don't feel bad, etc., come next Monday. Could be a waste of your time.
  18. I use inclement weather days to process/prep brass in larger volumes, or load some test loads up for the next range trip, maybe clean that rifle that needs a bit more scrubbing, etc. I have some loaded ammo I can use if needed, but unfortunately it is sometimes stored too far back under other "stuff" and I don't feel like digging it out. LOL.
  19. How far are you willing to drive to trade SRP for LRP ?
