  1. So you're the one who got my knife! LOL I liked that one also. I did get one though, #2, and received it today. My wife stole it. She absolutely loves it. grabbed it out of my hands and claimed it. lol GT is a good man to have here, even if he is taking our money!
  2. NOW THAT'S MUSIC!!! lol David Clayton-Thomas was on fire there! Back in my wastrel college days, I had the pleasure of seeing/hearing them live. A tremendous show. My frat back then, ALPHA KAPPA PSI, had the honor/duty to promote and sell tickets on campus and in the city. That got us primo seats in return for all the "blood, sweat, and tears" we put into it. lol I/we sat about 50 feet left of stage and that tower of speakers. I don't think I could hear for days afterwards. It was worth it! Fantastic Show!!
  3. I must really be getting old. I'm still on NGDB.
  4. Sadly...there are probably gun owners who would.

    TAURUS TX22

You guys keep upping my desire to buy one of these. I just may have to find one now. lol
  6. Sweet pistol. I've owned several of the Mark II, III, IV over the years and found them to be an excellent pistol. Never had the Hunter version though. Thanks for the commentary.
  7. Nothing at all. I still have state maps of where we have traveled and hope to go. Just gets cumbersome carrying a bunch of maps and difficult to open and find things on the fly in the vehicle. And it's difficult to get maps of every little city and town you'll get to before you get there. Yes, larger cities shown on state maps, but smaller population areas get left off. Along with all the secondary roads.
  8. I have a pair of these sitting in the closet. Won them at a Friends of NRA auction some years back. Only worn them a few times, but great boots. Great Review as well!

    Glock 19x

I had a similar reaction. Bought a 19X and just could not like it. Ran 3/4 mags at G&L and it wasn't for me. Can't give you a definitive reason. It just wasn't the same as my 19s. I happily sold it to a member who just seemed to rave over it. Also didn't care for the Glock FS 45. I think that was just that the grip felt too larger for me. I guess that's the reason for different ice cream flavors.
  10. lol You are fitting in quite nicely here.
  11. Can't and won't disagree with your premise, but without a very large supply of maps; finding places that aren't on major roadways, and in neighborhoods can be frighteningly difficult without something like a Garmin or Maps app on a smartphone. Do I believe this dependence on this and other forms of technology is causing a lack of learning to think and solve problems without "Skynet's assistance" lol, is destroying our lives? You bet your John Connor t-shirt I do.
  12. Old eyes can't make out the banner on the wagon. I see what appears to be "LE Keep Our FlagWaving." Maybe. lol
  13. You are as bad as me!
  14. Yep. Ain't that a hoot? The real world differences between a pistol, an SBR, and a rifle are just hilariously bizarre.
  15. Yes, thanks for the review and pics. Little sucker seems to like the 124 gr loads from your pics. I toyed with the idea of one for a while, but just have too many other things in 9 to add this one. But I've said things like that before.

    Lowers

Yes. Got a couple of Andersons set back for pistol builds from them.
  17. Yes. 18 rounds of fun! Then there's the 20 round mags too. I have 2 of them. Don't really know why. I get tired of shooting out the 18s. lol I know I'm a Canik fan-boy. If finances permit, after this weekend trip with my wife, I may just get another. You know, just for spare parts.
  18. I wasn't aware. Sorry. It was just my curiosity about the pistol that brought that question to mind.
  19. Guys...if you've considered buying a Canik, GrabaGun has a great deal this morning! Get a TP9SF for 289. That's a price that even has me thinking of getting another. If you haven't bought from GrabaGun before check it out. It's worth the effort.
  20. From the sound of your post, I get the idea you have multiples. Does that mean you sell on a retail level? I'd sure like to examine one.
  21. Not at all knowledgeable on Mausers, but that doesn't keep me from appreciating a fine looking rifle. And that sure is one.

    TAURUS TX22

GrabaGun, and several other online sellers have had them from 279-315 in the last week or so. I've hesitated on going after one. I've just bought my limit for the year in the first 4 months. lol Sold a couple, but need to do a few more before bringing another in. 200 would be a great price. If it will happen...??? I do like the without safety option on one though.

    TAURUS TX22

I could not finish this guy's review...grated on my nerves so bad I shut it down. lol But I have had the opportunity to hold a TX22 and I do like it. I probably will get one in the future.
