Got converted to the 1911 platform some years back. It is an addiction...be very cautious. lol

When I was very young, I had a lot of inner ear problems that required many frequent trips from Baxter to an ENT down on Church St. Remember the long trips on Highway 70 and watching/listening to my Dad griping about how long it was taking to open the I40 Interstate Roadway. I think that was about 1962/63. So 66+/- years old for the I40 system. Lots of work and replaced sections on it in the last 20 years; so some didn't even last 50. However, in defense of the builders back then, I don't think they had the vaguest notion of how much traffic would be on it in the years ahead.

Very sad. The SR45 was one of the best shooting 45 autoloaders I ever shot. And...I foolishly sold it.

Surely so, but do the FS mags fit it as well? Haven't looked at the Security 9 platform yet but hear and read nice thing about it. Don't need or can afford another pistol now; but with Ruger quality, this should be a good compact for concealed carry.

Very, Very Wrong!

I can attest to the quality of work from 1911alltheway. I got one for a Shield 45 and it's a perfect fit. Work is excellent! Looks are awesome! Like any good piece of leatherwork, it was extremely tight initially, but leaving the gun in the holster for a day or so has made it fit like a glove. Draws well, has a bit of tension, but not enough to be a problem. Re-inserting is still a bit slow, but use will change that.

AMEN!!!! Krystal is KING! Gotta have a sack of them about every other month. Get a 12 pack, throw out about half the bread and make them doubles...then chow down. Yes I admit I'll regret it about 3 hours later, but darn things are absolutely great going down. And the smell and flavor is tremendous.
