Thanks for the advice. I have in the past used Sam Hoster in Gallatin. If he only touched my guns, I'd be very happy. But that's not always the case. Not too thrilled with the rep of some of his helpers.

Cute?? lol I have a couple of PSA builds with stainless barrels, not fluted. Not sold exclusively either way on them, but flashier than the bleak black finish anyway. Keep toying with the gray/blue look on one.

Very good! Thinking of upgrading/refinishing my late 70s HP. She's a bit dull and lackluster with that old finish. Can't show her this post...becoming very jealous.

Fluted Stainless barrel looks amazing!

Ditto. Wondered what it was all about. But as Kahrman said, just reload and it went away.

Can't quote the exact comment, but during some searching tonight I did some wild comments about that course of action. If I can stay awake long enough, I'll try and find it.

The enemy we know rather than one we don't. Change in the NRA is a definite need. Scrapping it totally would be a disaster for us and the country. jmo

Sigh! Good old days.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. lol BUT...I'm not sure I'd say it's the superior firearm of the OP's list. I gotta be argumentative. Just the best in my opinion for the lady.

Ok, I just have to comment. Don't be cheap! Buy her the 43X. She likes it. She will carry and use it. Hopefully, but try to get her to shoot one first. 1 PPQ...I love mine, but I personally feel it's to large. 2 LCP9...I feel that the first time she fires it will be the last. I've owned 2 of them. Harsh, loud, and the heaviest recoil of any small frame 9 I've owned. 3 43X...it's a Glock. Proven track record, at least on the name, and I have no doubt about this one. 4 G2c...Buy the 43x. See above #3. Yes I do own several Taurus guns, and I do like them. As the owner of all these, at one time or another, and a multiple Shield owner...I personally feel the 43X to be the best choice. I tried to pick my wife's. I didn't work. She likes the Smith 351PD in 22mag. I used it to replace a 416 in 22lr. Little more potent I think. She likes it. Light and easy for her to manipulate. Didn't like my auto-loader choices. I learned...the expensive way. But on the upside, I have a couple of small pistols I like. lol OK...my personal opinions...nothing more.

While not a reloader, my loss I know, but can't be helped now. I would like to comment on these brands mentioned. Guys, I am in total agreement on them! PPU is my fav ball round for my 380 family. Seems a bit hotter than other brands, and I find it very accurate in my Ruger. As far as S&B, I started using it in several 1911s some years ago and now I have several cases stockpiled. Good, clean, and my 1911s do well with it. Also very, very fond of the S&B 124gr 9mm. I started using that when I bought my first Shield purchase. I found that it cured my early cycling issues with the Shield. Again, a hotter round, and I have converted to using it in all my 9s. Blazer, I find more than adequate in terms of cost, reliability, and clean. Both in aluminum and brass case. I have too little experience with Geco to give an assessment. However, I do like what I have shot.

Thanks. Knew it was unlikely, but had to ask.

Know where this is?

I was there a couple weeks ago, and I believe there were 6 in a display. Might be more in counters. Had a nice bobbed Wilson. Don't remember which model though.

Strong but subdued lyrics. Really great though. Not familiar with them, will look up. Off track, but the guy on the 4-string and keyboards as well? Very good.

Grandpa Jones standing? A young Jimmy Dean standing in the car?

Right. I was late to the add and all gone. Didn't Need it anyway. lol

Got a chance to hold one just after they started shipping. I was at Sumner gun trying to harass our buddy Steelharp. Felt ok. Nothing that set it off from the PPQ, HKVP, or any other poly pistol I own or have owned. Seemed pretty well put together, finish was good, and cycling was average to good. Trigger didn't overly impress me though. Still prefer my PPQ and Canik triggers to anything else I've handled yet. My personal, totally unprofessional opinion is that it's a decent pistol, on the high end of what it is. All in all, for me...I'll keep my others. The APX just doesn't reach out and grab my attention.

A devastating loss for not only the people of France, but the entire world. A beautiful example of hand-built architecture and the capabilities of man.

Yes. Klinger did it far better! And the dress looks better on him as well!

YUCK! !!!

Very nice work. I'm not a big camo fan, especially the standard green/browns; but you got some really sharp colors and patterns there. The grey/black and blue base looks really good.

My condolences for you and your family. Praying for peace for you.
