You have such a way with words!
-
Sorry...a goof.

Ok...now that's an angle I would have to peruse!

This is almost as good as those Gummi Bear Stories a few years ago!
-
That just makes me think of a mass shooting just waiting to happen.

Well said, Sir. Well said.
-
LOL! I bet that's thrilling!

I really don't know what to say here. It's a beautiful story, and I thank you for sharing. May God Bless Cody and all his family.

I bought one from Classic Firearms last year. I concur. It is loud. Loud enough to get other shooters to stop and look around. lol

Congratulations! Isn't it amazing that the wonderful things in life seem to go by so very swiftly?

Except for me...no coffee or bourbon. It's my books, my dog and short walks, and DON"T touch my stash of Hostess Ding-Dongs!

In total agreement. I'm older, slower, heavier, far less mobile and flexible than I was even a few short years ago. Situational awareness is key for anyone, especially we older guys and gals.

I admit buddy, I was at first a bit perplexed on this. Just a simple-minded old fool I guess. lol But as I watched and thought on the video...I came to see just why you picked it. It's spot on! And you are right. It is appropriate, and Mikey would have enjoyed it.

I so much want to argue that point...but unfortunately I R one of them.

Makes perfect sense now. lol I solved that problem after our garage was damaged in the flooding of 2010. Stacked a layer of foundation blocks underneath and gave the safe a solid base to rest on. So I can pretty much rule out any weight issues in my Browning.

And this is just a few. Mike told me once that the (recording) session work he did put him in contact with the biggest names in the music world, in all types. Now if you knew Mike, you know this wasn't bragging; he didn't seem to like talking about who he knew or worked with just to name drop. Those were just people he worked with. Just any other day or job to him. Playing and making music. That's all Mike wanted, at least outside of his family. Everything he did was for his family. That always came thru in conversation. You just felt and could see the love he had in his life for them. He was a dedicated musician and family man. One who was blessed enough to make his passion his life's work. We should all be so lucky. I'm sure others here knew him better than I did, and are hurt just as deeply by his passing. But I must say that meeting Michael Douchette was a joy. I can say without any reservation that meeting Michael was one of the biggest and best parts of my time in our TGO family. He shone in whatever context you would meet him in. You simply could not help but like the man. He made that impossible. Goodbye my friend. May you have eternal peace and joy playing with that Heavenly Band that needed a great steel guitar player.

Since WallyWorld is right across the street from the Medical Center offices the wife and I have all our docs in...I do tend to go in at times. I'll get 5/6 tubes of toothpaste, same on toothbrushes, a couple 8 bar packs of soap, and 3 or 4 cans of shaving cream. That's pretty much a routine for me on a monthly basis. Also try for alcohol and ear swabs. I'm paranoid of running out of these. lol Need to start adding some razor cartridges again. I'm getting low on them.

Yes, that's where I first met you, and now that I think on it, maybe Mike as well.

When I first started learning of Micheal's talents and his history in country music, he sent me this video. I've watched it a lot. I questioned him about those big names he'd played with. The list is unbelievable. Just about everyone in Country Music, and a few in rock as well. He sent me a message one night, music only and asked me how I liked it. I was blown away listening to it. It was a recording of some his work with Charley Pride. Amazing. I'm sorry that I don't seem to have it now. It was a recording of some studio session. You would like it as well, I'm sure. Miss you already buddy.

Oh my God! And I don't say this lightly. I am stunned and heartbroken. I met Michael almost 10 years ago, buying a pistol from him here. We swapped that CZ Compact back and forth several times. It was a joke between us. When we met to deal, somehow I felt and told him that when money was better for him, I would sell it back to him. And I did. Twice. We passed several between us on deals over the years, and I always told him the same thing. But that CZ was the only one Michael ever wanted back. I don't know what went with it. I think he did sell it at some point. But that's not important. What is important is the friendship we shared over those years and deals. Michael often spoke of his son, My Marine, he called him. I hope His Marine knows just how proud of you Michael was, and how much he loved you. My apologies for not remembering your name. So for Michael's Marine...I thank you for your Service. And offer my condolences to you as well. Michael, I, and everyone who ever met you, will miss you. We were better for having met you. May God Bless and keep you in His arms forever. My deepest condolences to his family.

So what is 9MM really selling for on secondary market
hipower replied to urdubob's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
At these prices, I just might offer a case of 115 grain myself. It's very tempting. I could buy another Glock with it...and there are a couple of nice ones for sale here. -
NICE Clean Safe! And a nice collection of rifles. Why the elevated rack?
