  1. An attaboy to the boss along with a note of the thanks to your local paper, will do more than a free meal or gift.
  2. Look about half way through the other thread, 1st Protech for 2016, pictures are in there. What he said!
  3. I'll bet he's still 30 ways to pissed!
  4. Sometimes having a boring 9-5 job doesn't seem all that bad. Glad he's okay and can't wait to hear the rest of the story.
  5. Somebody has a couple bottles of Pappy 2015 listed in the Knoxville Craigslist ads tonight. Egg Nog is evil!
  6. I liked the judges remarks at the trial. At sentencing, Jared was crying about how his wife and kids would never be able to get over the situation. The judge told him, you gave your wife 7 million in the divorce, she'll be fine.
  7. My bank account would prefer that you wait until after Christmas.
  8. Doesn't the law protect children and invalids in nursing homes? I recall two cases that resulted in arrests a year ago. First, was a perv guy taking photos of kids at the water park in Sevierville, and second was of a couple nursing home AIDS that posted pictures of their patients. Both were convicted if memory serves me.
  9. You do know, everybody just wants to see more pictures of your girlfriend right? Sorry guys, I let the cat out of the bag. Seriously enjoy, I have lived here 8 years and have finally started hiking to places around this area. Wish I would have started when I first got here.
  10. OK enough of this Bourbon talk nonsense. Can we focus on important things like Rum?

    Tourists

Earlier this week I was at Smoky Mtn Knifeworks checking out their newly remodeled gun department. While there four women, probably in their late 30's or early 40's walked by. One of them exclaimed to the rest "Oh my god, I have never seen anything so scary in my life!" Of course I looked to see what had scared the group so badly, and laughed out loud because they were staring in horror at the handguns in the display case. After they had taken a suitable number of cell phone pics to show their friends back home, they decided it would be smart if they left the department before something bad happened. I just shook my head and looked at the sales guy that said it happens on just about a daily basis. I'm sure they would have crapped themselves if they had gone across the parking lot to Buds and seen people shooting on the range.
  12. So does this mean they will be releasing some of the 92 bazillion rounds of 40 call ammo they bought last year? It's surplus now, so we should be able to pick it up cheap. Right?
  13. I've decided to get mine from Willis68 HQ for a while.
  14. Shoot for my birthday I got a card and a can of peanuts! I think I'm doing something wrong here.
  15. I had an electric brinkman that worked well in the summer. Unfortunately in the winter it could not hold the heat neede for cooking. I replaced it with a Webber Bullet and haven't looked back.
  16. You guys should either drop a line to corporate or copy this thread to them. Nothing better in retail than customer attaboys! I'm sure the shop manager and crew would appreciate it.
  17. It looks like a lead build up to me. What kind of bullet were you shooting?
  18. Tenga eggs- LOL! The gift that keeps on giving. I bought myself a Shiney new TGO knife. I'll worry about the wife in a couple months.
  19. Isn't freedom a nice thing after being locked down for so long? Try not to burn out to quickly on your new found freedom. Savor, enjoy, shoot lots and laugh!
  20. If you decide to boil the malt in the kitchen on the stove, be sure to keep a close eye on the pot. Once it starts to boil, it can grow really fast resulting in a sticky, sugary mess all over the stove and burners. Wives fail to see the humor in this. Ask me how I know.
  21. Most shops will have a startup kit that has everything you need to get started. I started off that way and have gradually added to the kit over the years. We are doing 5 gallon batches and bottling, some manner of kegging will probably be next on the upgrade list. There is also a home brew supply store in Knoxville whose name I have completely forgotten.
  22. I'm just the opposite. Unless it is something really collectible and sure to increase in value by multiple times, I say dump it. I bought a 1977 F150 new, ran the crap out of it, rebuilt the engine, ran it for several more years and then dumped it because I was tired of it. Bought a new 1989 f150 and haven't looked back. I decided I like new technology instead of rolling around underneath my vehicles.
  23. You guys are definitely in a very different situation.
