  1. Doug, I've used the Free version of AVG for years, and haven't had an issue. Who knows, tomorrow could change that. As others have posted, Windows Defender works quite well also. Overall, the best defense is you.
  2. Where there's a will, there's a way. I just hate to be outdone. You'll figure it out, hang in there pardner. I once had an Army doctor tell me I'd likely lose my right leg below the knee. I still have it, it keeps my butt off the ground quite well. Stubborn ole cuss, LOL.
  3. Prybar, I went thru the same thing a yr. ago. I'm right handed/ right shoulder surgery. I was out in the yard one day, decided to experiment. Got my BB pistol & a tin can, tossed it in the yd., shot with the left hand. Surprised, but did well. Eventually, tried my Walther PPS 9mm. same results. Did about as well with either. Bought a L. hand holster for it & carried it, til I got my other hand back. It does take about 12 mos. to get back to normal. It's a slow process, don't try to rush it & cause damage. BTW, I did figure out a way to use my zero turn with the sling on. Made an extension for the R. hand bar, kept on trucking. Good luck, I feel your pain.
  4. Same here. Totally agree. I use Wrangler, sometimes Rustler. I rarely ever participate in a fashion show anyway, LOL
  5. Not familiar with the G96 synthetic, but from experience, synthetic is far better than conventional oil in other applications. I've used it in all my engines, large & small, since the early 80's. May give it a try, & see how it goes.
  6. Agree, I have the PPQ M1 in 40 S&W. Trigger pull & reset is great. I'm carrying it right now, because the holster broke on my PPS M2 9mm. Ordered a new one from PJ holsters, should be here today. May end up selling the PPQ, don't really need two pistols.
  7. My 2010 F-150 has this. Readouts are a bit optimistic. Mine runs 1.5 MPG more than reality. I keep a log of every time I fill up, it comes out 1.5 less than the computer every time.
  8. Know nothing about the kit, but the .31 worked well back in the old West days.
  9. Same thing in Lebanon. I haven't heard any of the usual excuses.
  10. According to the TWRA, a trout license is not required with a type 166 license. Enjoy, good luck.
  11. Polls usually reflect the views of the pollster, which are Liberally biased. How many times have you, or someone you know been involved in these polls. I've never had one call.
  12. I've owned two, never had an issue. Got rid of them in time to scratch another itch. Yes, they have had problems, but, so have all the rest at times.
  13. If you've ever been in an actual fire fight, that would answer your question. Can't have too much ammo. You never know when that occasion will crop up.
  14. I leave my truck keys with my gun. Not going far with out them.
  15. While John has done good things for gun rights in TN, this sounds more like a membership drive similar to NRA. Money......
  16. I've been a member, for .....I don't know how long. I don't always agree with their policies/actions, BUT, they do some good work as well. They've been pretty much our only voice in TN & DC. Love 'em or hate 'em, still need to support 'em. Money talks, they have more than I do.
  17. Little update on C&E. Received an email form Goodman. It said the reason the show ( which was to be Goodman's last ), was due to insurance issue. Didn't go into details.
  18. Same here. Don't use mine a lot either. Had it for a while, but Craftsman usually make good stuff.
  19. LOL, can't argue with that. Hard to tell gun shows from flea markets anymore. R.K. has a show scheduled for Jan. 26 /27 in the 'boro. Usually slightly better than Goodman, but not by much. Guess I'll try to make that one, haven't been there in a while.
  20. FWIW, C&E Gun Show ( formerly Goodman ), scheduled for Jan. 19 & 20, 2019, for Lebanon,TN, has been cancelled, according to their website. No explanation given. Next scheduled event, at this time, is in Sept. 2019. Was kinda curious as to what their show would bring to the table (pun ).
  21. This. Most instructions that come with the bulbs, tell you to do this. A bit of contact cleaner isn't a bad idea either. Contacts can get corroded or dirty over time.
  22. Personally, I thought it was a good shoot. The judges ruling made no sense. Be interesting to see how it plays out before the Grand jury.
  23. Didn't get to watch the game, as I don't get ESPN, & they didn't simulcast it on ABC.Not an Ala. fan, glad Clemson won. Did kinda follow the scores on the 'net. Heck of a game.
  24. What Dave said. Go to the county clerks office. They can explain the whole process to you.
  25. The last two times I was there, and this was several yrs. ago, it was a bust. Not many vendors, or buyers. If it's still anywhere near the same, not worth the drive.
