It’s Football time in Tennessee

Woo Wee. My Huskies are the first team ever (and will be the last ever) to go 12-0 in PAC 12 play. It wasn't pretty, but a win's a win.  I sure don't look forward to seeing them play against Alabama or Georgia, though. (Assuming they can win their conference championship game next Friday.)

What does Garufa say about Alabama?  They're the devil!

Seems the elite programs find ways to win.

Many programs are good against 2nd & 3rd tier teams. UT is sadly in this catagory.

Some may hate Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia etc...But I'm sure they'd like their teams have the consistent  talent & great coaches these programs have.

To Quote Garufa Alabama is the devil 👿 unbelievable

Bama did what they do.  Was a good game to watch but it is what it is.

That game also marked the end of an era.  It was the last SEC game to be broadcast on CBS.  Even if Gary Danielson is getting as senile as old Verne Lundquist was, I’m gonna miss their broadcasts.  Just wish Nessler would do a better job of correcting Gary, lol.

Nah, they're not the devil. They, like Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, etc are just elite programs. they strive for excellence.

Congrats to The Dawgs for a great run.

Interesting playoff picture...

REALLY looking forward to seeing which teams are selected for the CFP this year. The committee has quite a tough chore ahead of them today. I think it's safe to assume that Michigan and my Huskies are in. But what about FSU? They're undefeated conference champs. Texas beat Alabama head to head, but Alabama just beat Georgia. Does the SEC get left out in favor or Texas? Does Texas get passed by a team they beat H2H with the same record? It's going to be interesting!

Yep, just read it on yahoo sports:

"Michigan, with a dominant win over Oklahoma State, took the No.1 seed, while unbeaten Washington took the No. 2 seed, followed by Texas at No. 3, and Alabama at No. 4."

I'm very happy to see Alabama & Washington made it! I thought for sure when FSU beat Louisville that was it for 'Bama. But Louisville looked weak & FSU took all game to finally seal the deal, so they didn't look like a final four team.

I'm just disappointed Georgia didn't make the final four. They are easily one of the top 4 in the country. 29 straight wins and they only lost to 'Bama by a field goal while playing without healthy big name stars at their best (Bowers & McConkey.) They should have still been in. But then what? You bump Michigan or Texas or Washington when they are all undefeated? Maybe you bump 'Bama and say Georgia was still the better team, but that's crazy talk since Alabama just won the head-to-head game!

I think they got it as right as they could, knowing it isn't a perfect system & it is not entirely fair that some really great teams won't get their shot this year. In my gut, I still feel like Georgia is one of the top 4 best teams. They just didn't quite rise to the occasion when it mattered most and had a bad Saturday to be "off" their normal level of play. Sorry Dawg fans.

Roll Tide! Go Huskies! Now I'm torn on who to root for.

I don't think Alabama deserves to be in this year. I would have picked FSU.

After what happened with TCU last year, there was no way the committee was letting a weak FSU team into the playoffs. It was always going to be Georgia or Bama. ROLL TIDE!!!

Michigan when Bama was announced as their opponent
