Naming your gun

First off, my wife names EVERYTHING. Her car is Little Red, my truck is Big Red, etc.

I put a slide end cover on my glock that has a stylized skull from the comic book The Punisher. Therefore, my wife starts calling my Glock 26 "Punisher". Its stuck. Me and the kids all call this gun Punisher now.

I took a page from AYoob. He calls his 1911 Fluffy. I call my 357 Boo Boo. When the wife asked why I told her that if I ever had to use it on someone it was going to give them one hell of a Boo Boo!

My 2011 is Bob, it's matching STI 1911 is Judy. They are named for my parents.

The 2011 is fat and special, but drop dead reliable. Just like my dad was.

The 1911 is thin, shiney, and more than a little picky about what you feed it, just like my mom was.

Other than that, all my weapons are referred to as, "that one," or "the rifle," etc.
