OK, Which one of you drives the Pinto?

Recommended Posts

It was missing several body panels, including the hood and front grill and bumper. Just an exposed radiator and engine up front.

What I love are the guy lines anchoring that flag pole. If you're going to fly a flag as big as your car at 65mph, it needs to be stable.

Like anyone is concerned with drilling a hole in a pinto.

My mom drove a Pinto when I was a little kid in the early 70s.  Always got us where we wanted to go.  Guy in a big boat of a car ran a redlight and hit us in the front side and we walked away unharmed.  I've always thought Pinto's got a bit of a bad rap.

In fact, I might not mind owning a Pinto today - as long as it was like this one:

That guy parks directly behind my office...he works at the shop next door and he was sporting an american flag for a while. He changed to the Dont Tread On Me recently.

That car is a work of art...has a bucket covering the carb, uses a gatorade bottle as a gas cap "he stuffs it in the inlet", has xm radio, a shop rag as a passenger side windshield wiper, and some other random bits of awesomeness. I'll take some up close pics and post them later.

My ex-wife drove a brown Ford Pinto wagon when we were in high school. Then she upgraded to a Mustang II and her brother got the wagon. He definitely got the best end of that deal!!

LOL

The Pinto probably reduced tailgating more than anything else before or since.

that's hilarious!
