Word is filtering down through even the most news-adverse parts of the membership, and I see no way the NRA is going to remain particularly influential unless LaPierre and Cox depart. Maybe some others high up also, including perhaps much of the existing BOD. I see Allen West agrees: One of the mantras of the left has for some time been "don't fear the NRA", and this whole scandal simply amplifies that. Though I've often been critical of its PR methods, I had no idea that the NRA operated like this. The fact it's in the red at all, let alone due to mismanagement and greed (and perhaps outright illegal graft), shocks even a cynic like me. If I'm any example, it will be suffering financially more than ever in short order (I'm an endowment member, and wish I could get a frigging refund). - OS

No. Treated clothes are good for several washings. I forget the exact amount but I think it is like 6 washings. I have done this with my turkey mesh facemasks. Once the permethrin dries it supposed to be fine. I do not know if they have done any long term studies so I can't say for sure but I hate ticks so I still do use it.

Every Democrat is throwing anything out there to see what sticks...so a big yawn from me. They each need to 1) qualify for the debates, and 2) keep their name in the news to attract fundraising. We're going to see a real race to stupid (more so than already) as they fight for debate time and money. Not until after probably South Carolina will whoever is left try to ease off some and re-tack center left to prep for the general.

Attended the play several years ago with a group of people who, we'll say, were probably not very happy with the last Presidential election outcome. Not friends, but close enough acquaintances for me to know the demeanor of most of them. Had dinner afterwards at ones' home. Never been surrounded by a more uncomfortable bunch of liberals in my life. Great play, by the way.

This is why large organizations get a C-Suite and a Board of Directors. A good board will keep the executive team in check, or reign them in as needed. Sometimes both elements go off the rails, but WLP could and should have been reigned in by effective oversight well before it got to this. I'm just not clear if they were unwilling or unable to do so since I admittedly don't know how much the NRA board gets into things.

I purchased a new Evo CDP today (5/13). I love the fit and finish of this pistol. I took it apart for oiling and will say getting the slide stop pin back in was a challenge. But overall same Kimber quality as my Micro 9’s (Raptor and Black) Going to the range 5/15 and I’ll return with a report!

They simply cant win, because of the Monday morning quarterbacking from the media, the politicians and their own chain of command concerned about optics over right and wrong.
