I really like the 22 mag caliber. The more I get to shoot it the more I like it. Nothing against the others.

Storm Spotters/ Damage reports will be on here. http://www.mtears.org/ could also listen to 155.340 and 155.205 for ems comms. I think life flight and air evac are on vhf and uhf conventional respectively so you should be able to monitor them also. Check the radio reference site.

I like my 6920 good rifle.

I have a couple single sixes but I favor my single 9 in 22mag. The ratshot in the 22m does an acceptable job on undesirable reptiles of the poisonous variety. The LR version just didn’t get it done a few times.

Man. I've got a short list of pistols I must have and this one is on it. I've shot one once and it left me impressed.

I run a Marlin 336 30-30 with a leupold scout scope on an Ashley rail. It works well and is really good for moving targets. -
There's a pretty good ham forum over on ar15.com in the outdoors section. They have a few stickied threads and links that will help you. Also a pod cast called ham radio 360 that is pretty good. I can't see your location from my phone but there are several clubs around that will be glad to help you. Several of them has weekend classes and then test sessions.

I'm pretty happy with my 44s. Had to make this decision a couple of years and glad I standardized on 44 for my woods guns.

Emerson knives...your thoughts on them.

I have several emersons and have carried them for the past 10 or so years. I have been pretty happy with them. They are built like tanks -
We have them at work on ~100 rifles. No problems to speak of. I also run one on my 7.5sbr with no problems. Will be buying another very soon unless I find a good deal on a micro.

I got one. The 9mm compact (mid size) in FDE with night sights. Got a pretty fair price on it from G&L. I am really impressed with it, especially the trigger and the accuracy. Need to score a few more mags and it will be set. I don't have any pics.

You can get a "factory letter" from S&W telling you about the history of that gun. It's pretty cool. Did one for a relative's gun that was another relative's Chicago PD duty gun.

Back in the day I ran a Safariland 070. I guess they still make them?

TBI does background checks for like 39 bux. I suggest calling them.

I have the big pelican cooler. Been very happy with it other than the weight. The bigger the cooler you get the more crap you seem to load it down with.

Emerson SOFK rides shotgun with me. Has for about 6 years.
