Living here for the last 21 years and have learned a few things-like the word yawll-which I thought was a wood working tool.

And I always thought when someone say's bless yer heart they meant it.

And another strange saying that I still have not as of yet figured out-get on up out of here-or fixin to do anything but fix nothing?

Oh well-I am getting old enough I really don't care to give any figgurin into it.

Fixin to bugged the crap out of my college room mate. He was from  New Jersey and we went to college in Texas.   Of course we all Thought he was nuts when he wanted a pepperoni pie. We were all like the restaurant is called Pizza Hut not Pie Hut. Lol.

My guess is Memphis paid Time Magazine big bucks to run that story because people are moving out of Memphis about as fast as Chicago and so are the tax dollars and they need to convince folks that Memphis would be a great place to move to. I think everyone leaving Chicago should move to Memphis. They would fit right in down there.......JMHO

The exodus began decades ago. I can’t understand Memphis winning any greatest place awards. But,  I do like the bbq!
