I just picked up the X Macro Comp. Loving it so far,  still waiting on a holster before I can carry it. $60 for a spare magazine is a bit steep but I'll get over it I guess. The Holosun 507k is a great addition, I ain't as young as I used to be.

I could have stayed with the Glock 43x but I saw a shiny thing and had to have it.

Now that you mention it....there should be a USB charging port on the bottom of the pistol grip.  Guess Kimber got cheap and left that off mine.

i bought the 507k as well. Fortunately for me, i got the X Macro Tacops which came with 3 mags!

For the first time ever, i decided to spend a chunk on a decent holster. I've been really happy with it so far.

I've got an IWB and an OWB holster ordered from Vedder. I like my Comp-Tac if it wasn't for the squeaking.

Went from a S&W mp40 to a Kimber 45 full size to a S&W sheild 45, to an H&K vp9 for the last 3 years.

Have gone to a Glock 48 or Sig 365 because of age. 1911's and Gock 17's were too big and the all metal guns too heavy.

Getting old kind of sucks.

I have a 1978 Model 36 3" in nickel.  I can draw it quickly and accurately.  It is my favorite carry gun.  I carry a back up  with it and two speed loaders. I bought it at Donaldson Hardware in Nashville.

I started down the 1911 path probably 15 years ago. I’ve had my fair share of plastic wonder guns, heck even looking for a new one at the moment, but I always come back to the 1911. I’ve found my perfect match in an aluminum framed CCO pattern Dan Wesson, it’s currently sitting in my handgun safe with a Milt Sparks holster ready to go on my belt (when I’m not being a homebody that is)

In all the years I've carried, a .380 mouse gun or .38 snub nose have kept the monsters from even thinking about bothering me.  Maybe I should upgrade to a 10mm.

Probably not a bad idea.  The monsters are no larger than before but there are more of them and they are more emboldened since the current judicial system tends to side with them.

Speaking of 10mm, I've been carrying a G29 for a while but even 10+1 of God's caliber doesn't seem like enough seed capacity if a situation goes that sideways. Pearce has the +2 extensions but you are so close to a full size frame at that point, might as well go big or go home. There are a bunch of carry sized 2011s out there like the Bul Armory Ultralight because not everyone has SFX9 money.

I started with a Glock 19 in 1998. Carried it up until the Shield came out.  Carried the shield until about 6 months ago with I got a p365x macro.  The macro is the perfect combo of size and capacity for me.

I just carry based on weather. If I’m layered up I carry a full size Glock or Cz, if I’m only wearing  a t-shirt with no jacket I carry an sig 365 macro. I prefer wearing a belt even without a pistol, so I don’t worry about being able to use a pocket holster
