Agreed, there was no need for the Stormtrooper treatment. Tannerite is legal, they made videos which were also legal, they got a residual payment based on how many people viewed the videos, they did not "get paid" for using the explosives commerically without the proper licenses, which would have been a violation. Sounds to me like they were attempting to stretch the statute so as to use it as an excuse in order to go "fishing" inside his house & business.3 points

I have always liked Palin, and she was the only reason I could vote for McCain. Is she a cerebral giant? No, but she does have common sense, and that is something that is severely lacking in Washington. I will also add that common sense, in most cases, is good enough. I think too many people often equate academic pedigree with intelligence and/or wisdom. Considering the current financial condition of our country, I believe one can easily deduce that they do not. I wouldn't mind seeing Sarah head up the RNC.3 points

I'm no apologist for either, but Obama took 131 vacation days in his first four years, Dubya took 1.020 in his eight years. The both suck.2 points

Not sure I see the problem. Maybe someone could enlighten me, is there a seperate amount above and beyond his tax paid salary being used for this or are we just gripping that he's our president again? If he's footing the bill out of salary then IMO its none of our business. If he's spending additional tax dollars we have a problem. Just trying to find out if we are on to something or just on something.2 points

Yup vacationing seems to be a regular event(s) for the first family, remember how the media railed at Bush every time he would dare spend a weekend at his TX ranch? Yet silent on all of the Obama's very expensive global tours?2 points

N. Korea's leader obviously has some mental issues that are going to cost a lot lives if this situation isn't handled carefully. Like others have said, I don't think he's bluffing, but I do think he's more limited than he's admitting. Can this stop him from causing major damage and loss of life...no. Can America wipe him from the face of the earth...sure, but at what cost. Nuclear weapons in war isn't a laughing matter when you have a crazy, child like dictator holding the switch. Personally, I think America needs to take him to the wood shed & beat his ass!2 points

your group will get the job done. don't worry about it. it is in the black. your load seems ok. but without a chronograph to check who knows. surplus powder varies between batches. i have found this to be true, my chronograph tells me so. all so a 16 inch barrel will give you less pfs than a 20 inch barrel. most load data is based on a 20 inch barrel. now for the primers. most small rifle primers are soft and will flatten some. now the exception are cci military, wolf, and tula primers. i like the tula and/or wolf 5.56 primers for my 5.56 loads. they do not flatten out. but if i use any other brand with the same load i get some flatting. your group and load data seems good. load up and shoot on.1 point

I think the founding fathers would recognize that the emperor has no cloths; as to what they would do? Well, they've already tried to give us a republic and we've screwed it up...I think they would just let us wallow in our own mess. Admittedly; I've been more than a bit pessimistic of late but I think I've had sufficient reason to be. Our country's march toward socialism began in the early 1900's and has made pretty steady progress since then. It was pretty slow at first but as they say, it takes a while to turn a big ship but those who want this country to look like a European style democracy (or an outright communist one) have been patient and unrelenting and have continued to make progress for all those decades. With VERY few exceptions, all I've seen Republicans and self-proclaimed conservative succeed in doing is in slowing the progress but so what? The destination remains unchanged; only the arrival time changes. I'll continue to vote...hell, in 40 years I've never missed a general election and have only missed two primary elections. However, do I think anything will change? No; I don't - what happened last November convinces me it won't. Even ignoring everything else we know or suspect about Obama; given the state of the economy the Republicans should have been able to elect anyone they ran against him yet the socialist is still in office. Everybody has their opinions about "why" but the mere fact that he is tells me we are too late...that we finally have more people who care about what the government will give them than they care about their country. If that is true then who runs next time or the next next time or the next next next time is immaterial, even if they win. Even ignoring all the above...I can add and subtract and I know what's coming; I just don't know how soon. I refer to a complete economic collapse. I've spent the better part of my working life in finance in one way or another...I have, as the saying goes, more degrees than a thermometer. But, don't need to have even graduated from high school to know that you can't continue to spend 145% of every dollar you take in and never even get close to a balanced budget forever. IT WILL CATCH UP TO US. It may even come simply by our interest rates rising to where they actually should be...it may be the world deciding not to value oil in U.S. dollars...it could be many different things that collapse the house of cards but it WILL collapse. I'll keep voting and I'll keep looking for someone who can make me believe I'm wrong but I'm not going to get my hopes up.1 point

That used to be true. The game has changed. There are at least three reasons for that. 1) A huge number of folks will vote for 'free stuff'. All they care about is that they continue to get their SS, MediCare, EBT cards, cell phones, or whatever else they are getting. Depending on how you count them, that is somewhere between 35 and 48% of registered voters. All the liberals have to do is make those people afraid that Conservatives will take away their free stuff, and they show up at the polls on command. 2) The middle is now the realm of people who don't go to the polls. These past two Presidential elections showed that the person who can get their own base energized and to the polls, wins. Romney had no chance against Obama. He couldn't even get the conservative base to vote for him. If the same conservatives who held their noses and voted for McCain had also voted for Romney, then Romney would now be President. Obama had trouble motivating his own base last year. He got fewer votes this past election than McCain did last time. 3) 'The middle' is a shrinking number. As the country gets more polarized between liberal and conservative, there are fewer folks in the middle each year. At this point, it's not enough to swing a national election. Conservatives actually have an advantage over liberals the more the country gets divided. A huge number of liberal voters are inherently lazy. Liberals have to bus them to the polls and hand them filled-out absentee ballots to get their votes. This is why those 'Get Out the Vote' programs are so critical to liberal causes. Conservatives will usually get themselves out to vote if they have a candidate they can agree with.1 point

On Fox News live...Gun violence. Of course, it's still the gun's fault. No blame for the person holding the gun. In my mind violence is violence. The gun is just a tool. How can people believe there would be no violence if there were no guns. The world was a violent place before guns existed. Violence is historically part of human behavior. Just to hear Obama say the words "gun violence" irritates me. OK, just to hear his voice irritates me. Blame and finger pointing is his way of communicating. Redirecting responsibility. Except for killing Osama. You'd think he did that all by himself. I'm sure all of this has been said here before but seeing him spewing his bs on TV just got my blood boiling. Rant off. I'm better now.1 point

I bet once you get going, it'll all come back to you. Good luck. Keep in mind that Glock barrels don't fully support the cartridge, so you'll get bulges near the extractor groove that weaken the cases. You'll get fewer reloads out of each piece of brass than you remember. As this bulge is mostly straightened back out and reused the case gets longer and the brass gets thinner and more prone to a kaboom.1 point

Part of the appeal of Palin for me was how much the media and the left hated her. If they hated her that much she must be good. How much time did they spend on how much money she spent on clothes? If they had spent twenty five percent of that on the current administration they probably would not have gotten elected. Day after day blowing one thing out of proportion after another. My mom mentioned how she hated "that woman she should be home taking care of her kidsâ€. I said that’s funny I do not remember you staying home to take care of your kids. Needless to say we do not talk about politics much any more I'll take Palin over any Dem and most Repubs any day.1 point

Great point. WE all know it's for their protection, and rightly so. I have no problem at all with this. But the general peasantry has no need for protection in the eyes of the Liberal Elite, especially Bloomberg, Biden, Pelosi, Feinstien and the rest of the freedom hating liberals even though they have hired guns protecting them. The best advice they seem to be able to give the female peasants is to pee and crap your pants to stop a rapist.1 point

It doesn't matter which conservative canidate is picked, the media is going to attempt to destroy them regardless, at least Palin has already walked through that "trial by fire" and has proven to me at least that she won't back down under pressure. Rand Paul is also a great choice but they'll do to him what they did to her & every other conservative that dares to seek the office of POTUS. He'll be mocked & ridiculed, attacked & maligned until the low-information voters either laughs them off or out-right "hates" him too.1 point

If you have the cash, go the dedicated route. Get a V3 cable modem from Comcast's approved list. Make sure it is the latest V3 to maximize your speed. Next, get the Asus RT-AC66R. This router is amazing. I've got more than fifteen wireless signals coming from neighbors that are close enough to cause a problem. My last router kept dropping the signal or it crawled. We run netflix to three rooms, plus lots of multiplayer, and it was painful and frustrating. I got the Asus, and it is powerful! My signal is through the roof now.1 point

I have read and seen youtube videos that Doritos burn quite well. I have never tried it because I usually have Velveeta and Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies in the house, I darn sure want be trying to set Doritos on fire in that situation. On top of that, it would serve a dual purpose as a snack. You would have to rotate your supply often due to the "Best to use by" date, but then again thats where the Velvetta and Rotel come back into play. Its a vicious circle.1 point

Currently, firearms sales are prohibited only to those who have actually been adjudicated as being mentally ill. This law would strip 2nd amendment rights based on hearsay alone. In essence, you would lose a Constitutionally-protected right based on what you said, not on a proven action or intent. The right to keep and bear arms is already the only Constitutionally-protected right that you can lose without becoming a felon. The Violence Against Women Act makes any man a violent criminal in the eyes of the law based only on an affidavit from the woman that the man has made verbal threats or acted like he was going to hit her. Anyone going through a divorce should understand that a Temporary Restraining Order is almost standard procedure by many divorce attorneys. If you don't fight it, you lose twice. You lose your guns, and the other side uses the TRO to show a reason to deny you fair distribution of assets, child custody, or even unsupervised visitation. This bill would require ANY 'mental health professionals' to deny you firearms if you make what THEY perceive as threats. And the threat doesn't have to be in their presence. They just have to hear of such a threat. And the category of 'mental health professionals' is very broad. It includes school counselors, pastors, and others you would not suspect.1 point

Come on, now y'all. This is a good thing. The way it works is, if enough people break the law then they get amnesty. Once the liberals in Congress get their way and outlaw all firearms, then we'll just all break the law by keeping ours ... and get amnesty too!1 point
The letter states it is a firearm however is not a pistol or hand gun and is not exempt from AOW.
JFC, you're hopeless. The difference is in the 26" OAL distinction. Under that it's an AOW, over it, it's not. That's why the Franklin gun is legal.
