The (already high) premiums on the O'care site are wrong - actual premiums are higher   Existing plans are being canceled.  Replacement plans are costing hundreds more - and how about that $6000 deductible?   Millions are going to end up paying the fine/tax because they're unable to sign up.   Those that tried to delay this were called everything from bomb throwing terrorists to domestic enemies by the left.   Delay?  Absolutely not.  Let 'em have it - good and hard.  Elections coming up next year, the Democrat party really deserve to choke on the fruits of their labor.

Eh, my family came over on a crowded, diseased ship about 100 years ago and didnt have a pot to piss in. I refuse to believe I am a beneficiary of "white wealth". There isn't a dime I have that I didn't earn myself. I have never received money from my parents. I have inherited nothing. The only money I've ever borrowed was from a bank for a house and some cars. I don't owe anybody nothin, nor should I feel guilty about anything. A black man walking the streets today has only himself to blame for his successes and failures. Playing the blame game is why there is such a problem. Being able to blame the white devil for all their woes is what keeps people in poverty; it gives them a sense of entitlement while at the same time gives them no incentive to improve their station in life. As long as they are "owed" something there is no reason to work for it.

I don't carry in the true sense of wearing it. I do have it next to me and take it when I move from room to room.

Yeah, this isn't bullying, this is just whining at best. Go cry me a river. Tell that to the graves of kids who have killed themselves because nobody would do a damned thing about it.

 I sold mags and ammo to a few who were caught short during the worst of it, and I didn't make a dime.  A local gunshop had decent prices on firearms, but the last time I walked into the place he was selling .223 for a dollar a round.  Won't be back to see if he's lowered his prices.   I understand supply and demand.  I also believe that shooters ought to watch out for each other as a community.  There are many that agree with me, apparently, and I will reserve my custom for them.

Yeah, I agree. Somehow I don't think the black family that lives down the street from me would start killing whitey if a race war broke out, and I can bet my white neighbors aren't gonna be going down to the black folks' house to vice them trouble. It's all socioeconomic. The difference is that black "have nots" are generally centrally located into one area, whereas white "have nots" are spread out all over the place. I come from trailer park central, and I figure that if you took all those people and put them in the projects it would look just the same as a black ghetto, only with white folks slinging meth on each corner rather than black folks slinging rocks.

Anyway to address the whole "white guilt" thing, if white folks are going to be held responsible of the crimes of their ultra-distant ancesters from 150+ years ago by black folks, than white folks should consider the decendants of crimes committed by black folks who are currently in prison for murder, assault, theft, etc just as guilty as the ones who actually committed the criminal act themselves. What's good for the goose is good for the gander right?

I do not feel guilty because I was born white. A person is born what they are born and that's it.  You do the best you can with what you get. Don't expect equal opportunity, just take advantage of the opportunity you get.  Saying someone owes something because of the color of his skin is the very basis of racism. To blame all people of one race for what some bad people of that race did is the same as blaming all gun owners for something one bad person with a gun did.   As for White wealth, please tell me where I can sign up for that. I earned everything I have. By working. 

Just tell them this and then wait for the head explosion. "The oppression of native peoples is part of my cultural heritage and you must respect it." 

Since I'm on my ipad I'm not going to try to multi quote and edit a bunch of posts on here. We started homeschooling last year our group of 4 boys (13,10,4,3). I will tell you I was the first one to raise objections against homeschooling based on the ability of my wife to teach our children and also on the social aspects. What I have come to discover is that even my average intelligence wife can handle teaching complex subjects to my above average intelligence children (my 13 year old could explain the different types of symbiotic relationships at 4 years old). The amazing thing in today's world is that the internet provides an immense amount of learning tools for areas that one may not be great at. When she struggles with a topic or just can't get the point across in a manner that works for the child we turn to the internet to find another way to explain it. If that doesn't work then there is a wonderful group of homeschooling parents in the area that we can turn to for help. This is not an endeavor that has to be conquered alone. Most areas have groups and even co ops to utilize the strengths of each individual in the group. As for the social side. Well between church, scouts, and sports we have it covered without the problem kids. The benefit is that we can cover material at a pace that I can be sure that my sons have learned what they need to know. That means if algebra comes easy then we don't have to dwell. If they are struggling with science we can work longer on it to be sure we have sufficient comprehension. And best of all we don't have to teach to the test. And probably the best part is that I can go to work relaxed knowing that my kids teacher is armed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Wanna talk about bullying, be the kid who's mom complained. That kid will get bullied. This is stupid, if you can't handle losing don't play. The winning team ran the ball every play in the 4th quarter. Those kids were backups and most if them hadn't scored before. And that's not counting the defensive touchdowns You can't ask kids to stop playing. What did she want the winning team to just take a knee 3 times and punt. Quit teaching your kids to be pussies and they'll be less pussies in the world

A 12 year old was the Sparks, Nevada school shooter. Two kids shot and a Teacher killed. After the first kid was shot the teacher was killed when he tried to stop the shooter. I wondered what would have happened if the teacher would have been armed and shot the shooter when he pulled the weapon. Well of course we know what would have happened; the headlines would have been “Teacher murders 12 year old student”. I’m making no judgments about what these cops did; don’t have enough info other than stories saying the kid was raising the AK as he turned towards them. As I said before; reaction time….tick…tick…tick. But saying he was too young to be a danger, or that any of us, cop or HCP holder should have been able to tell a replica from the real thing as someone is presenting a weapon is ridiculous. Terrible situation.

More commonly referred to as "man-love" Thursday. It is the eve of their weekend, and when all the men come out to play. Of course, there are no women allowed out, so imagine that the streets are packed with dudes all out for a good time, minus chicks. I could go into more detail but it gets worse from there. A lot worse. Things that you don't want to think about and likely wouldn't believe they were true unless you saw it for yourself.

The robbers definitely underestimated the business owner. Our office used to be in the building next door to this jewelry store, makes you think.   What kind of low life targets someone in a wheelchair. Guess they figured wrong.   +1 for the good guys.

I did none of those things, so I don't have a damned thing to feel guilty about.

  Smokey, I did a 6.8 years ago when they were the new "hot" AR thing.  Didn't see enough performance over the 5.56 to want to keep it when I had a 458 Socom sitting next to it in the safe.  I decided to go 6.5 on this one, and YES, its going to be a bit more to build, but the performance and range on this over 5.56 were enough to ensure I won't see that remorse this time.   Getting the high end CMT upper/lower set just made me want to get the rest as high end stuff as well.  I started a thread today looking for other 6.5 owners to post up their sources for parts.  I'm seeing ammo in quite a few places and since I reload, I'll just buy components to keep going.

+1 one on the ass kicking but hope when you do they don't arrest you for child abuse if your kid calls the Abuse Hot Line..........jmho

I absolutely Support it.   We should all support this if for no other reasons than supporting our 2nd amendment rights and to help keep from being busted on some technicality while handling a long gun.  It would probably also make the transportation in a vehicle less likely to become an issue.   I think the arguments Against that are stating that people will be walking around with rifles in public and that makes them feel “uncomfortable” are just silly but they have already been countered here.   I also very much disagree that the rifle is an Offensive weapon and the Hand gun is a Defensive weapon.  Per Jeff Cooper:  The handgun is a convenient-to-carry stopgap weapon, allowing someone the opportunity to get to a rifle. I will defend myself with a rifle, a shotgun and in many cases a machete before choosing a handgun.  But it is sure nice to have one on you while utilizing the others or to help you get to them.

CU and Boulder are weird places anyway. The californicaters have been in control there for a long time. The PC crowd are so open minded and accepting unless you don't belive the way they want you to. People like them have ruined my home state of Colorado. Halloween is about having fun. If a group or a person gets offended tough. They need to get over it. The PC police can kiss my big white ass

Man do I miss it. Every year I try to get my wife back into the Britney Spears costume she wore back in college for Halloween. At least back then you didn't have to dump a bunch of vodka in them to get them to do that. Havin kids makes ya square I tells ya.

*shrug* do you think it could be possible that the officers "shot first, ordered him to drop his toy gun" after? Seems to me that there is a whole lot of hysteria/fear of armed civies these days, thanks to the 24/7/365 media coverage of school shootings the notion has beeen repeatedly hammered into the American-psychy that every single MWAG is probably a potential mass school childrenz killer & not a law-abiding firearm owner or even a kid with a just replica/toy gun. So I'd say the likelyhood of an officer immediately engaging a little-kid holding an evil "AK" without saying anything prior at all, has risen greatly over the last 10 years out of plain & simple fear for their own lives. That's just a guess though, why else would kids be getting suspended from school for chewing a pop-tart pastery? That is except out of an irrational fear of armed children?
