Exactly 100%. We buy/sell/trade firearms. There is no obligation, or should not be, to sell trade or whatever with anyone we are not comfortable with. TN DL is a minimum however if a trader wishes to see my EHCP and sign a bill of sale, I'm perfectly happy to comply. The TGO community, frankly, is self-policing, which is why I like it. My 10 cents2 points

Tennessee does in fact issue concealed carry permits as of 2020. As far as the other noise about only needing a DL to purchase a firearm, that is all irrelevant. If a private seller wants to see proof that you are eligible to own a gun, which a CCHP or EHCP would indicate, that is his prerogative.2 points

You only need a DL to buy any firearm arm. A concealed carry isn’t a license to buy anything2 points

Sig Legion P226 SAO with Romeo Pro Optic, factory box, 5 mags, and Bladetech IDPA holster set up. Maybe 3 mags ran through it. Local TN sale only. Would consider trades heavily in my favor (Glock 9mm with Optic) but prefer cash. I am firm on price. Located in Middle Tennessee and can travel a little on Sunday afternoons. I live in Murfreesboro and work in Brentwood.2 points

Running the Dead Air Xeno Brake as the muzzle device. The suppressor came with the Xeno flash hider but I prefer the brake, so here we are.2 points

Pay close attention to OAL rules for pistols if you go that route. Also, you will lose significant velocity with a short barrel, even with 300 BLK. This starts to matter a lot if you intend to kill deer out past 100 yards or so.2 points

I've built several ARs, and I like the carbine length guns with light barrels and mid length gas systems best. I like the Faxon Firearms barrels with the integral brake in a lightweight barrel profile best. They are exactly 16 inches. They are a bit pricy, but they are excellent barrels. That said, ya can spend less money n get the same thing if ya use any good quality barrel. Shop around n read the info from the various makers. Faxon, Wilson, and many others. Google em and take a look. My AR weighs right at 6 lb. That's why I like the light barrels. Don't get sidetracked with the small MOA thing if your gun is for self defense. My AR has a red dot on it that makes hitting pie plates at 50 yards child's play. A pie plate is 8 inch diameter. Take a look at the center of your chest or your head and think about that. I value the light weight guns because of the easy handling. If ya want ta build a pistol; I would recommend a 10.5 inch barrel 300 BO and a braced lower ya like. The 300BO wuz developed as a short barrel round, and the 10.5 feels good in hand. Again, Faxon is a good place ta look for barrels. There are two places not to skimp on if ya want a great shooting rifle. The barrel and the trigger. Ya can find an excellent barrel in the $250 to $ 275 range; and, if ya watch close, ya can buy an excellent trigger in the $100 to 125 range on sale. Here's hopin this helps a bit and ya get started on building the rifle like ya like it. leroy.... PS... " Approved Vendors "... I like Wing Tactical for lotsa stuff, AERO for uppers, Primary Arms for most everything, Including the best optics ya can buy for the money, I'ma thinkin, and I always look at Joe Bob outfitters, n a small bunch over in N C whose name escapes my old, wore out brain right now. I FOUND EM!!! AR Discounts...! https://link.ar15discounts.com/q/qDKEhyiBcBf9N1NLLuaoBs5y3ZzEZ6MXKPbaqcI4F_pt29dPQ5obrJ7HT9 Lowers, I buy from my buddies at the gun store ya frequent... Pick the one ya like.2 points

One of the best humans I've ever met is opening a gun shop and range in Madisonville KY. He retired from the US Army recently as a Lieutenant Colonel. The range will be for shotgun, pistol, and rifle. 400 yards max. He has a space for classes and training. He'll be opening the middle of next month. If you're in the area check him out. https://madisonvillegunco.com/1 point

Are you talking about the AK’s operating system? There are ARs that are piston driven like an AK.1 point

Good luck with sale. I have one of these with sig romeo5 and streamlght tlr1. This is my new home defense gun. I have severe arthritis and it is a soft shooter very easy to handle. I highly recommend. Again hood luck with sale.1 point

A private seller does not have to sell to anyone and may ask for a DL and/or a HCP or EHCP, as well as sign a bill of sale, just as a buyer has the right to refuse to show any and all or sign a bill of sale. At any point during the transaction, either may walk away. Thems the rules. Don’t like those rules, then don’t buy, sale or trade here.1 point

I hate to say it but I'm beginning to wonder if this guy isn't a scammer He's got a scope listed for sale as well I asked about it no response then he lowers the price that was before I asked about this and I know there's no license required to buy a scope Something fishy about this guy1 point

I had a Taurus G2C as well as its predecessor, the PT 111. They are extremely reliable with all types of ammunition, FMJ or HP. It features an external safety and second-strike capability. For the money, I do not think it is possible to find a better value than the G2C. GLWS.1 point

Hey guys, I have a Remington 11–87 Premier skeet gun and the original case with six chokes , all the factory tools and paperwork for sale. I’ve owned the gun a number of years but have lost interest in skeet shooting and I’m now BR shooter . . It’s ready to go -got everything you need to start shooting skeet or sporting clays and in beautiful condition. A couple of small handling marks but other than that it’s about perfect. These guns are anywhere from the 13 -$ 1400 on gun broker. My price for a quick sale $1000 And I’m ready to meet you at your convenience and in Nashville, Franklin, Brentwood, Cool Springs, area with a little effort. Reach out to me on TNGO for any more info or more pics. You can also hit me up on TGO and I will send you more pics via fax or email. I have about 20 very good pics of the gun, including all the markings on it as far as from the factory and the receiver, the figure in the wood and so on I tried to cover everything I know about the gun. as I said it’s been a safe queen many years, but it would make somebody a nice entrance into sporting clays for not an extravagant amount of money in my opinion. I’m based in Brentwood, retired. Can meet most anytime And I’m interested in selling or I might be interested in a trade for a Smith & Wesson 617 revolver, 22 long rifle, in a 6 inch barrel in similar condition or slightly used. I can work a trade up or down but the offer is there if you’re interested. please reach out to me they TGO and I’ll get back with you ASAP. this is a bargain if you look at gun broker and track the pricing which I’ve done for the last month. Let me know if you need more pics please ! thank you. As an aside, these guns were manufactured 1987 to about 1998 for you Remington guys out there..1 point

You don’t have a concealed carry card so that’s not a chance in my book to sell .1 point

DRD You are correct #3 Do not offer items on behalf of a friend or other third-party. Only list items that you own and are in possession of. Being the same type of guy, I will close it. Thanks for the heads up.1 point

Safe clean out. I have a nicely built Heritage Arms Rough Rider Revolver in .22lr and 22 magnum with a 4.5" Barrel. This has been upgraded with a Gold trigger, gold hammer, two gold cylinders, gold cylinder rod, and Altamont grips. I can also throw in some stock grips that came on these if you want them. You have a choice of cherry or walnut color. It comes in a nice Buffalo Nickle, wooden display/storage case. The gun includes two black cylinders and two gold cylinders. Both colors have .22lr & 22 magnum. I built this to be presented as a gift to a friend, but unfortunately, that never happened. It's been collecting dust in my safe ever since. Has less than 20 rounds through it. Just wanting to make room for some more toys. I have $381.04 in the build. Asking $300. Located in Maryville, TN.1 point

After all of this great feedback and more research, I believe I have decided to build an AR-15 that fits my specs and modifications. This would assist with options for hunting as well as home defense. 300 BLK would be my primary build, and I will be looking for deals on other caliber uppers in the future. The next thing to begin researching and discussing would be rifle vs pistol for my primary build. Looking forward to this adventure in the AR platform while bellowing my 2a right along the way1 point
