  2. Dust cover comps aren’t very effective as such. You tend to get more benefit from the weight near the muzzle. They can also complicate holster selection.

  3. Good 90cc+ saw. Maxflow air filter setup, a new meteor piston, and new bearings and seals. Full wrap handle with the wide west coast style clutch cover and big west coast dogs. 34” Oregon light bar with full chisel chain. Bar tail slot has been lengthened for an experiment on another saw but works fine on this one and doesn’t loosen up or anything. Just wanted to be transparent. 7 tooth sprocket. The light weight bar keeps it from being so nose heavy and saw runs like a top with plenty of power even with the bar buried. $850 obo meet up near Oliver Springs. If you want to meet here you can test cut in a piece of wood. Will post video of it cutting tomorrow 7/12. Only trade I would consider would be a Colt Detective Special with exposed ejector rod with or without cash or an LTT beretta bobcat. May also consider semi automatic 12 gauge shotguns, can add cash for the right deal.

  4. Let me start off with saying if you feel unable or unwilling to do the following care instructions then these aren't for you. Care Instructions 1. Keep your knife clean after each use. 2. You can wash your knife with soapy water. 3. Immediately dry off the knife. 4. Apply mineral oil or vegetable oil after use for long lasting results. 5. NEVER PUT YOUR KNIFE IN THE DISHWASHER!!! Made from 1/8" thick D-2 steel. Rockwell hardness is 58-60. They have camel bone and G10 handles. I'm not providing a block with these as one of the magnetic style blocks would be best. Your home and style and price range depends on what block you'd like. The magnetic blocks are all over Amazon, Ebay and o places. Price is $225 shipped for the set. I will only sell as a set.

  7. I have a Limbsaver pad somewhere that I wear when I’m going to be shooting hard kicking rifles. It comes in very handy during the summer when I’m wearing just a T shirt and sighting in a 45-70.

  13. Vision Kamado grill bundle, BNIB, charcoal or propane, accessories. A couple of years ago I put it the word with friends and family that someone should gift me a komado style grill. Well, I got two of 'em. And me being the irresponsible person that I am, I've been using the other one that is just like this one forgetting that this one was sitting in the way right in the middle of my shop, still strapped to the pallet it arrived on. Oh well, a little late to return it now. So, here it is, up for grabs. Best I can tell, these things retail for about a grand, give or take, depending on accessories. This one needs a new home so it's half price. $500 cash and I'll load it onto your truck or trailer. I'm south of Columbia, between Summertown and Ethridge. Please save me from having to deal with FB marketplace!

  15. This video is about excessive end shake, but also shows you how to check the gap between the cylinder and the forcing cone. If it's not in spec, you can have a tight gun. The last part shows how to remedy that. It's just a guess on my part, but the possibility is there. Otherwise, my 34-1 has a problem with the ejector rod coming loose and making it hard to open.

  16. I have a strap on pad that I use with my metal buttplate milsurp bolt guns. It only takes a few rounds through the 8mm for my shoulder to tap out. Can't imagine being in the army back then and banging through a couple bandoliers worth every day. Those guys were tough.

  17. I’m reposting this as a For Trade. I value this at $600 because it’s not a common variant. I’m open to trades for.22 rifles or handguns or 9mm handguns. If I respond with “Thanks, I’ll keep it in mind “ please don’t be offended. I will keep this open for a couple of weeks to see if there’s any interest. Thanks much. I’m north of Nashville.

  18. This. After two shoulder surgeries, hard kicking guns no longer interest me. I probably won't even shoot my trusty Winchester Model 70 .30-06 ever again.

  19. My grandson and I hit a deer on my motorcycle. We had slowed to avoid spooking her, but she ran ahead and darted across our path like she did it on purpose, LOL. Luckily, I was prepared and the only damage was a broken light bracket.

  23. Adding a aftermarket compensator is adding another variable to your carry handgun that can effect reliability. They lower slide velocities, can alter timing, and usually require hot ammo to cycle more reliably. This is your carry gun, and reliability is the primary concern. I would just practice and train with the pistol as it is, especially since you just bought it. The P10c is a fine handgun. Put a thousand rounds through it, or get some training if you’re worried about recoil management, and follow up shots. Your probably old enough to remember that until about five minutes ago, the handgun world knew you didn’t need a comp and a red dot to use and shoot a handgun effectively.

  27. In all honesty........if you have issues with recoil, get an accurate gun with less recoil. A super mag in the dirt always gets it's azz handed to it by a 6mm on the target.

  28. 14 or 15 total, I think. I'm going to cheat a bit & trailer the bike to a mate's place in Gunnison CO though. That should give me a full 10 days to tour around out there. I'm planning on averaging 300 miles a day & I've got a laundry list of sites I'd like to visit.

  29. Be careful out there, Rob. Me and the old lady missed a deer today by just a hair. I had the back brake locked, and was pulsing on the front brake hard as I could and still not lose control. I’m sure glad I’ve ridden for a long time and wasn’t a newbie. We’d have crashed, and nearly did so anyway. She handled it well.
