Gun range receives alcohol permit

POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. (AP) - Owners of a gun club being built in metro Atlanta have been granted a permit to serve patrons cold beer after they holster their smoking pistols.

WSB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/QDdHi4 ) the city council in Powder Springs has approved an alcohol permit for The Governor's Club. Owner Kristina Brown says she and her husband plan to operate a lounge at the $3.5 million gun range when it opens.

exactly Blake. People go out to eat and have drinks, some have carry permits and have guns in their cars. I have not read too many stories of anyone going bat#### crazy and shooting everyone.

I have a house full of guns and often have a adult beverage or fifteen, have not gone on a shooting spree just yet.
