Yeager responds to Coward claims

Recommended Posts

I think Yeager is getting exactly what he wanted out of this video. People are talking about him and that seems to be important to him. He's nothing new a lot of people over the years have made a job out of being controversial in the training arena. And after he fades out there will be others to take his place. And I will give it to him the internet tough guy and the I’m a dangerous man attitude I’m sure sells a lot of training and video views.

How did this thread go from talking about Yeager being called a coward to hating on 1911's?
.

All threads on a gun forum, if continued long enough, will eventually morph into 9 v 45, Glock v 1911, AR v AK or all three.

I tried to add a new dynamic, .45 vs. .357 magnum, but alas, no takers.

Yuup and Fords are better than Chevy's and 5.56 is never effective on the battle field (I learned that from playing COD).

You'd learn more from playing COD for 5 minutes than you would by taking all of Yeager's classes.

All the hate for Yeager is exactly why we have so many training instructors to choose from when we want to further our training. You may hate Yeager and may love someone else that has the same background and the same opinions without the attitude/brashness. It's all about the delivery even though the principles might be exactly the same. I think it's safe to say almost anyone could learn something from Yeager, IF you can let yourself listen to him and get past his mile high ego. I looked at his website and what he teaches in his pistol classes are the same as the Magpuls(coveted) art of dynamic handgun, or Costa ludus or Haley strategic or any number of hangun defense/ manipulations classes or videos.

Having dealt with an instructor nearly exactly like Yeager before, I can totally agree with this statement. I would never subject my blood pressure to such an instructor again so long as I can help it.

I go commando.

It's the only tactical way.

True story.

Are you affirming that's it's the only tactical way.... or that I really do go commando?

On the grounds that I may incriminate myself, I am going to exercise my 5th Amendment right and not answer that question. ;)

Ha, I think the 670-1 Gods are more forgiving nowadays. Just an observation from the last time I was in a chow hall.
