Pretty sure he is NOT an anit. I have seen previous quotes from him about owning firearms and here are some recent quotes concerning the Zimmerman case http://kgmi.com/Samu...ership/12943722 If you are talking about his PSA he had a Public Service Announcement commercial called "Put Down The Gun". the video is clearly aimed at young people and gun violence. Working to stop gang/gun violence does not make one anti 2A He is not outspoken for our rights, but he is not an Anti. He seems to be your average middle ground guy, but in no way is he a HUGE anti gunner3 points

I must admit that I am amazed at the level of devotion of Paul supporters towards Dr. Paul. As I have stated on numerous occasions, Dr. Paul was the only candidate running for the presidency who was worth a crap. However, he lost. In all honesty, how is it possible for Paul to obtain a victory in the general election if he can't win the nomination from his own party? It isn't. Are people suddenly going to come to the realization that they made a huge mistake in the primary and start flocking to Paul in the general? Nope. Some may argue that voting for the "lesser of the evils" is a capitulation of their values and principles. It isn't. Voting for a candidate in which you don't share a lot of the values with versus a candidate whom you know has been a complete disaster is being pragmatic. You are not compromising your values. You are essentially cutting your losses in the hopes of fighting another day. Some may argue that their love of country is the reason they can't support anyone but their candidate, in this case, Dr. Paul. Fair enough, but do you believe that those who have chosen to support the nominee over their preferred candidate have less love for their country than you? Certainly not. While Paul is my guy, I will be voting for Romney because I know how bad our current president is. Obama has been an absolute disaster during his first term in office. Since we are talking about Paul and Paul's primary focus is fiscal policy, I will keep my arguments solely related to those matters. During Obama's first three years over $5 trillion has been spent. If he wins another term, we will be looking at an additional $7 - 10 trillion in deficit spending. Obamacare will kick in during his second term, and we all know how much of a financial boondoggle that will be. Who knows what Obama will try to do with executive orders during he second term. Obama has publically stated that if he can't work with congress that he will bypass them. In a lame duck session without the worry of reelection, does anyone honestly think that Obama will slow down implementing his agenda? Of course he won't. If anything, he will put it in overdrive. We truly can't afford to allow Obama a second term in office. Anyone with half a brain knows that we are headed towards a financial cliff. The question now becomes, do you want to enter into a suicide pact with the current driver (Obama) and pick up speed as you approach the cliff, or do you want to change to a driver (Romney) who may slow the car down and still leave the possibility of getting another driver in the future who may slow it down even further? While I admire the loyalty of Paul supporters, their rigidness in supporting a candidate who can't win and refusing to vote for the nominee is irrational. While their intentions are good, the exact opposite of what they desire (a move towards sound fiscal policy, elimination of Obamacare, etc...) will occur if Obama wins a second term. This is what will happen if people refuse to vote for the nominee. Continuing to hold out for Paul really is nothing more than a case of wishful thinking.3 points

Great job today, and thank you, gentlemen, for your work today leading the funeral procession for Spc. Jason Edens. The bikes alone stretched for a mile, and I'm not exaggerating. From my vantage point on Sneed Road, I could see approximately 1000 yards west, and there were riders as far as I could see. This was around halfway through the procession. Sorry, Westboro Baptist, better luck next time. I know there's a lot of doom and gloom on this site and many others about the impending death of the republic, but seeing all the people lining the roads for a fallen soldier most of them had never met, including myself, the hundreds of riders leading the way, the flags...it's the kind of thing that makes me proud of my country and my neighbors. We may be down, but we are not out yet, and won't be so long as we have communities like this one.2 points

Tennessee would have to become the 5th state to recognize constitutional carry. You can’t make a very convincing rights argument when the state sees carrying a gun as a crime.2 points

Paulbots for Obama. I like Ron Paul a lot, but was always better at math than to flog that dead horse.2 points

I'd vote for Satan himself over Obama. Equal footing, but at least Old Scratch is upfront about things. Minority impractical conscience will not help this ailing nation. At all. - OS1 point

“No one†gets us four more years of Obama. Ron Paul and all the other candidates are out and have no chance of getting the GOP nod, much less beating Obama. There are plenty of people out there that would make an excellent President; but none of them are running either. The people that support Obama are united. The Democrats will be making sure all their people vote and will be busing them to the polls. They only have one person to vote for. Romney wouldn’t be my first choice for President, but he would be 100 times better than Obama. Get on board with Romney. If the republicans split over issues; Obama wins.1 point

Everybody has the right to their own choice. I don't want Obama, so I'm going to vote against him. I'll make my "statement" by voting against the commie. A vote for Paul is NOT a vote against Obama, so I can't waste it there, not matter how much I LIKE him. He can't win.1 point

I shall not and will not hold my nose just so I can vote against the lesser of two poor candidates. The republicans have not yet been in the desert long enough. Unfortunately we are all suffering and may suffer more because of it.1 point

She could win the freakin' powerball, and she still would not pay her bill. Her lack of money is not the problem, it is her mentality. She thinks she is due this care and treatment as a right. She could have all the money in the world, but would still bitch about having to pay for something that she feels is owed to her. There are plenty of non-illegals that feel the same way. Either way, it is crap. I do not understand how poeple look at ILLEGAL aliens and think they are doing nothing wrong. I guess I am just a cold hearted a-hole, but if we would seperate more families and put more prego women in shackles, then maybe we would see an improvement in the problem.1 point

Take possession of the new American, her child, and deport the mother. I am a firm believer that a child should take the citizenship of the parent. If one parent is Anerican then the child is American. But if neither parents are citizens of the United States the parents, along with the child, should go back to their home country. Dolomite1 point

They arent getting anyone "off the street". They are getting them in temporary custody to get them regestered in the money racket run by the court system. These folks will be "back on the street" in the blink of an eye.1 point

Anyone who wants to disarm you at any time and place is not doing it for YOUR safety. This is so logical and self-evident that most liberals cannot understand it.1 point

BS on both partie's accounts. Warranty is issued to retail buyer, not wholesale dealer, and doesn't start until retail sale takes place. What warranty card has anyone ever filled out that didn't ask for a purchase date? Every once in awhile, government can be useful: http://www.tn.gov/consumer/index.shtml1 point

To my knowledge I have never heard of a manufacturer that claimed the warranty period starts the second it leaves their doors. I always figured it was understood it started from the date of purchase by the consumer. Then agian, there is a reason alot fewer places do any business with Arsenal anymore, either. Frankly thats a level of bull#### I have never seen before.1 point

This is how it all starts! Originally I wanted a garden about 30' x 30', so I went to Lowes and bought a front tine tiller, brand new in the box even! Did the maintenance on it, gassed it up, pulled the string twice and away we go... With the rock hard ground and the race horse in front of me running wind sprints, after thirty minutes this old man was done, literally.I got all of five feet done. There's got to be a better way, he thinks to himself, so... Two hours later, he comes home with this. Three hours and a twelve pack later, he has four separate garden plots. Moral of the story: Don't drink and till...1 point

Let me ask this question. If I park my car on someone's property and it is broken into, is it my car or the property owner's? My car is my property. If a business owner is not going to take responsibility for my vehicles being vandalized on their property then they do not have grounds to restrict me from keeping my property locked in my property1 point
