I'm a bit slow, but I never understood the hatred a lot of the world has for Jewish people.5 points

Everyone can have opinions and I have mine about Hub Buddies. I use to pack my boat trailer beariings every year in the Spring. Taking my time and done in an hour and replacing the grease seals with a new ones. I will say this about Hub Buddy's/ Bearing Buddies. I had to have my boat and trailer hauled to my house twice on a flat bed wrecker because the Bearing buddies were greasing the outer bearings but not the inner bearings and I had two bearings seize to the spindle and lock up. Nothing better than getting your hands covered in grease and knowing it's done right.3 points

Wasn't looking, considering it would have cheaper to buy a 9mm barrel for my recently acquired P224. Being heavy in CZ mags, I justified the purchase of a nearly identical firearm based on current ownership and positive experience with CZ, private, local sale at a fair price and mag compatibility. It's weak, but I think this is going to be a dandy little gun.2 points

If the last two incidents have anything to do with political timing or political anger about who might win or lose, we all better step up the prayers. Election day ain't here yet!2 points

Damned if the timing of this stuff isn't convenient! This sucks. Prayers for everyone involved.2 points

That is why when I used to work where I could I had everything shipped to work. My wife's idea of a lot of ammo is a 50 round box. Having 1k show up one time left me thinking she was gonna try to check me into the Looney bin. I would rather have ammo that one day my grandkids call antique than to run out.2 points

Not an isolated incident, many times an areas shops, restaurants and bars receive hundreds, to thousands of customers they did not anticipate they struggle to keep consumables on hand,2 points

When I was at Buds a couple months ago, they had quite a few French police trade in S&W 64's & 10's. I think they were like $249 & $269 a pop. Had me thinking seriously on one but then I settled on the near mint Star BM 9mm for $199.99 on the box. Give em a call and see if they still have any. They all ready are vehicle seasoned!2 points

The three great excesses in life: There's no such thing as... Too much love... Too much money.... Or too much ammo.2 points

... If you can find someone dumb enough to do this for you, pay them! That is all.1 point

It's a single axle, and in a fully equipped garage, I thought it would be more difficult, but it turned out to be quite simple. If it has been sometime between maintenance, or as in the case of my first boat trailer, years of salt water use, it can be rather difficult, though.1 point

I ordered some ammo last week and it was delivered today while I'm at work. My wife had to get our daughter to bring it inside because it was too heavy for my wife to lift. She texted me and told me she thought I was preparing for the zombie apocalypse. I told her she would thank me one day.1 point

Already took care of it just gonna wait though the ffl did know who I was as soon as he asked what rifle it was and I said Mosin and he said the box had rust flakes in it1 point

Maybe he just figured the video would be worth more money if the cops killed the dude.1 point

My suspicion? Since the camera guy got cursed out by the perp, he wanted the cop to shoot him to right the wrong of being personally verbally assaulted.1 point

Appears to be a true believer white supremecist type. Here's a capture of his gab account, his account has already been deleted by gab: https://archive.fo/k63LE It seems to give a little bit of insight on what the final straw was for this guy to go off the deep end and start killing folks.1 point

If anything, the bullet went in one eye and out the other. There's basically no bone between the eyes, and very little tissue. The bullet didn't hit anything hard enough to expand and cause the typically massive wound cavity, it just zipped through taking the eyes and a bit of brain with it. I would have expected there to be a big chunk out of one of the trees or a divot in the ground where the bullet hit.1 point

Gold Dots. Typically 124+p or 230gr in 45. There are dozens of videos online about the effectiveness of that round. Check out the @tnoutdoors9 channel.1 point

We discussed this some time back, the consensus was that it was BS. This video pretty much sums it up.1 point

I’m currently a fan of Federal HST. It has proven very effective in all my situations.1 point

Well, at least the guy on drugs had an excuse (drugs) to his behavior. What about the idiot that was filming and yelling "Shoot that m*cker". He wasn't on drugs and was still an idiot. Also, he is definitely going to "feel this" later. I must say, all three officers seemingly did a fantastic job in handling this situation. If it were me, I would have at least wanted to arrest the camera guy for inciting violence.1 point

Decided to camo my el cheapo Savage 320 today..Spent $10 for paint...I could not find any rubber bands at wallyworld, so I just wrapped it in paracord, then used some foliage from around the land for the camo effect...I think it turned out pretty decent for my first time doing a camo job..1 point

It's really not that hard, did mine in 30 minutes or so, and that was packing the grease in by hand. Those little gizmos like from harbor freight and other places can make it less messy. And bearing buddies are worth their weight in gold IMHO.0 points
