No, you sue everyone who defamed you by calling you a murderer, white supremacist, etc without being found guilty by a jury of your peers.8 points

Judge should have given him his rifle back and sent him out the front door. I bet the crowd would disperse in a hurry.8 points

NOT GUILTY ALL COUNTS!!!! Kyle Rittenhouse Acquitted On All Charges | ZeroHedge6 points

My good buddy and fellow member bigun has been having some mobility problems that were getting progressively worse lately. He and I usually touch base via text or phone on a daily basis but he dropped off the radar a couple of weeks ago. I got a message from his daughter about four days later telling me he was in the hospital and was improving so decided to wait until I knew more before posting anything. He is now out of the hospital and in a rehab facility so he's still making progress. I'm sure he would appreciate any prayers, well wishes or any other encouragement sent his way. The facility just lifted their 'no visitor' policy this week so I was able to pay him a short visit yesterday.5 points

I'm sure Joy "White Tears" Reid has some more lies and racist comments to embolden the rioters tonight. Too bad Kenosha can't send the bill for damages to MSNBC and the rest to pay for the damages. Although nothing can repair the damages they've done to this generation of youth I'm afraid. May God bless and protect Rittenhouse and his family and may peace be with them.5 points

I spent the last 3 weeks watching/listening to a solid 3/4 of the proceedings via the Rekieta stream. It was an excellent and extremely illuminating insight into this case in specific and the legal system as a whole. For me the biggest takeaway is that if the prosecution was willing to go that far and engage in such blatant misconduct when the cameras were on, what are they getting away with when the cameras are off? It was really quite sickening.4 points

Then that should include Joe Biden. He called him a white supremacist a few days after the arrest.4 points

I hope he sues the Hell outta MSM. They did everything they could to paint him as evil and get him convicted.4 points

The jury got it 100% correct. Now Kyle should sue everyone his lawyers can pin a lawsuit against....JMHO4 points

Just another thing that’s factually incorrect. They were assailants. Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on the grounds of self defense. That means he was defending himself from assailants and he was the victim of their violent assaults.3 points

I’ve noticed the media keeps trying to add a racial component to this story. Probably half the people I know think Rittenhouse killed black people. Not that it makes any difference to me, but man they sure try hard to incite a race war.3 points

Oh, it's our fault. Should have slapped the #### out of you whippersnappers like our parents did to us3 points

I’m really hoping that this red pills a lot of folks who didn’t pay a whole lot of attention while prosecutors pulled this kind of #### on folks from the other end of town because “they were probably guilty of something”. They can and will go after y’all just the same if’n they decide it’s what they want to do.2 points

I'm of the same mind as the others, he needs to sue the hell out of the MSM for not only the blatant lies, but for the slander that is still going on even after the verdict. As news organizations it is their duty to find out the facts before they broadcast their stories. But instead of retractions, they are doubling down with the white supremacist bs, and some even throwing Trump into it. I wonder what happened to the phrase "allegedly" when accusing a person of a crime in a story when no conviction has happened, it seemed to have been missing quite often.2 points

Folks are going on and on about Rittenhouse suing the media and such, or wanting him to talk to this person or go on that person’s podcast and I’m scared for the kid. His case was super important for all of us with regards to the subject of self defense and I am ecstatic that he won. But, my cause is mine. It was HIS LIFE and I just want that kid to disappear and go have a shot at a normal life. I’m afraid that he’s gonna get shoved into #### and turned into another Zimmerman. If that happens, the the ####bags who tried to destroy his life still win, but it’ll be folks on “our” side who give it to them.2 points

There are several problems with Electric Vehicles beyond a lack of charging stations and range. 1) Storage of electricity is VERY expensive. That battery pack is the most expensive component, and like a gas engine, it will wear out. Unlike a gas engine, it is much more difficult (and expensive) to rebuild that battery pack. 2) Transportation of electricity is expensive, Power loss over long distances is significant even with the best high-tension lines. And you can't just carry it around like a 5-gallon can of gas or a tank truck. 3) Production of electricity still relies on coal, natural gas, or oil account for about 60% of US electrical production. Nuclear is another 20%. All 'renewable' sources account for the final 20%. The current administration is trying to kill at least 30% of the current source of electricity. while increasing the demand (and thus the cost!). Gasoline is with us for a LONG time to come. At least until we all have a Mister Fusion at home or in our Deloreans.2 points

Same here. I remember back in the 70's people would react to the weakened live virus that they used, but modern vaccines don't use live virus anymore. One might get a variety of influenza that isn't covered by the vaccine, but that could happen with or without the shot. It seems like great insurance to me.2 points

After getting a bad case of flu about 25 years ago I started getting the shot every year. Never had a reaction other than a sore arm for a day or so and have never caught the flu again. May be luck on both cases but I'll take it.2 points

And we have subs that can launch from any ocean in the world, like they and Russia do, so it isn't as big a threat as they make it seem, but we should not have been blindsided by the fact that they had it, if our alphabet agencies would concentrate on our enemies instead of parents against CRT, and white supremacist Trump supporting terrorists, we could have been forewarned.2 points

He was not the POTUS at the time, as such he is entitled to his opinion and it would be hard to win a case. That said the young man needs to stay low for a bit, if not longer.1 point

Oh I laughed when I read it time and time as it became a far left echo chamber. It was followed by me shaking my head with disgust disappointment and making comments that can't be repeated on here. But as Greg points out THIS is becoming the norm and soon enough the "jury of your peers" and it should scare the hell out of any gun owner.1 point

Yes. The recoil movement is different sled vs shoulder. Plus the sleds are notoriously hard on optics. Try sighting in w/o the sled & if scope still adjusts accurately & groups are still good, your optic survived the 'sled experience' (yay!) If not...that's a bummer1 point

II saw my Pulmonologist. last week. He said YES, absolutely get the booster shot. I took care of that today. As far as news stories go, I've become numb to them. Ever since the beginning its been he said, she said and one conflicting story after another. No matter which side you're on, you can find the definitive proof from various "experts" of your particular beliefs. I just don't care any more. I'm tired of hearing it. I believe my own personal doctors whom I trust. I'll take their advice. Everybody else can go screw themselves.1 point

I don't know. I do know he has a history of lying and then winning lawsuits because his lawyer claimed "no reasonable person should believe him". The judge agreed. His sole job is to keep conservative viewers fired up about each revolving crisis which varies week to week. He has zero credibility. He and the idiots on the liberal media outlets are all the same. They are all a huge part of what's wrong with this country.1 point

This kid has done a lot to hurt himself prior to this incident. Hopefully the jury has not been privy to all the photos and his posing with the AR rifle. Like posting a sign on your house stating "This house protected by a 38 Spl, or, we don't call the police here." When you do stupid stuff like this one is asking for trouble down the road if their ever forced into a Self Defense situation. No bumper stickers either. And above all, don't go looking for trouble. Just MH Opinion. This kid has messed up his life.1 point
