  7. XDs 45. Noting much to say about this one, great shooter and amazing firepower in a tiny package. Due to the push, rather than snap of the .45 recoil, this isn't too bad to shoot, but in all fairness it isn't a steel 1911. Has Talon grips installed, comes with 5 and 6 round magazines, and also an extra 7 round magazine. Comes with a DeSantis IWB holster, factory case, and factory mag pouch thing. $400

  13. I have never owned a LaRue trigger, but I would like to try one. I have a Geissele 3 gun in a Daniel Defense 16" AR and really like it. I had a Rise Armament 140 in another Daniel Defense shorty 300 blackout AR pistol. Started to have issues with the Daniel Defense and had to send it back for warranty and they said the Rise Armament trigger was one of the issues they found, they discovered it was doing a thing called hammer follow. Rise warrantied the trigger and sent a replacement, but in the meantime, I installed a Wilson Combat trigger. I have a 556 Wilson AR pistol and several of us at the range commented on how good the trigger felt. Several guys at the range compared it to the Geissele 3 gun trigger in my 16" AR and everyone there liked the Wilson Combat trigger better...For now, I suppose no more Rise Armament triggers for me, it had less than 1000 rounds before it went bad. But, in my opinion, the Geissele and the Wilson Combat triggers are really good. Capbyrd recommended to stay away from cassette style triggers which the Rise that failed was and the Wilson Combat is also. I do think the smaller cassette triggers are more affected by junk in the mechanism, especially for a suppressed gun, where all that debris is blown back into the gun, so maybe that's why the Rise failed, and we well eventually see if that happens to the Wilson Combat....

  14. The guy on the left appears to be Gary Merrill. Probably in a guest star role. Then of course you have Clint Eastwood and Eric Flemming. Its from the TV show Rawhide.

  17. Everything is LED inside. I've worked with my special needs Daughter to eliminate one large electricity expense. I just cut off the cable and home phone. We haven't used the home phone in more than a year. We very rarely watched cable. That was $200 a month. This is my highest earning year ever and I feel like I have less money than I did last year. Inflation is a thing

  21. SOLD I'm getting out of the duck hunting business so selling my shotty. This thing has slayed many a dove, duck (plus a few turkeys) and has run flawlessly from Louisiana to Arkansas to TN. I've gotten a bug for over/unders so this is my last 12ga auto. Beretta AL390 Silver Mallard 2 3/4 or 3": Comes with several chokes including a turkey choke. This is a very reliable gun, regardless of the weather. I'm sure it happened at some point but I do not ever remember this jamming on me. The last time it fired was two rounds on Reelfoot and it smoked two greenheads. You can't miss with this gun! Actually, you can miss but it does swing very well. Metal is in very good shape with a few signs of wear but no rust. Stock has a few dings from being in a pirogue or duck blind. I think I still have the original box but need to get in attic and look for it. All ammo pictured included. Almost all of the boxes are full with the exception of the three on far right and they are 1/2 to 3/4 full. Includes target loads, game loads, buckshot, turkey and duck loads. Also included is target/dove vest (Size L) that was used one time when training my upland bird dog. $800 for everything. Might trade for Glock 43X or Springfield Hellcat with optics.

  24. As much as I love my 1911's and Sigs and CZ hammer guns, for carry I use several Kahrs. Striker fired, and each trigger pull is the same DA but super smooth pull P380 in summer, PM9 when I have more clothes on-lol. Recently bought a Sig P365 (with safety) to carry and I'm just starting to transfer over to that. I'm figuring the extra rounds cant hurt. Its the same size as the PM9, and uses the same Crossbreed IWB holster.

  28. Full tube, chamber loaded, safety on. On the assumption I get woken up at 3:00 AM I may not be in my most alert frame of mind and I also don't want to make any additional noise. Remember, the criminal has the drop on you and in most any home invasion you are WAY behind the 8-ball. Having said that, the shotgun is not the first thing I'm going for. I feel much more capable with a high capacity full sized hand gun with a weapon light. Even better than that would be a 9mm sub-gun on some kind with a short barrel.

  33. Some of the Sp101's that i have been seeing lately , new and used , have the barrels tilted left or right. As if they are not screwed on properly . A few that I saw were new ones at gun shops. looking at the crane or main part of the revolver , the barrel wasn't straight and lined up.
