There were many ways to read or perceive Harris's concession. And I trust one's lense is influenced by many factors. I won't debate anyone's take, that is theirs to own. She spoke well for the most part. She ticked boxes I expected. Threw pointed barbs with less provoking, carefully worded phrasing... as expected. And a promise of cooperation, as expected, having no other choice without being obviously hypocritical. However, she was speaking directly to her supporters only, not the nation or the other 51+ % as was evident in many sections and "this is not what you voted for". While giving lip service to transition so the can make reference of the 'tyranny' of 4 years ago...again a barb expected. The calls for fighting and active resistance from the usual sanctimonious position of the democratic party. They will fight for constitution... AFTER they kill 2A (having called out the need for gun control) and shape it to what they and her supports feel it should be, not what the nation thinks it should be. Interpretations are subjective. I would not call what I saw gracious exactly. Rather a well structured product of some smarter people than those that were running (which she presented well). With notice they they will be coming in 4 years and will be resisting the entire time. Game on.3 points

Ive had several offers fort trades. I am only interested in trading for an EOTech or a Ruger 10/22 with at threaded barrel. Ruger 4.25in 1911. I bought this unfired from a fellow member a couple of years ago and have shot 35 rounds through it. It is a great gun, but I just don't see myself shooting it any more, as I am transitioning to all striker-fired pistols. It has a great trigger and well, it's a classic .45 ACP 1911. Comes with the box, a carrying case, two 7-round mags and I will throw in a 1911 Left-handed kydex holster if you want it. Asking $850. I live in Hermitage but I'd be willing to drive a little bit on a pretty day. TN driver's license required to purchase.1 point

This is a Smith&Wesson 2.0 in .45. I have had it for a few years but I haven’t shot it in the past several years. I had intended to use it in IDPA so had an apex trigger installed by professional gunsmith. However I never used it for its intended purpose. It has been my bedside gun for the last 4or 5 years. 4.6 inch barrel and 2 ten round magazines. Has original case and everything that came with it. $425 cash in a FTF meet somewhere on Lebanon Rd. In Old Hickory.1 point

I go along with the Mossberg/Maverick guns. Not real expensive and completely reliable.1 point

I vote Mossberg as well. Also have a police trade-in Remington 870 that looks rough but functions flawlessly but I doubt I’ve ever seen one of those in 20 gauge.1 point

Already have my DVR, or whatever it's called these days, set and ready to watch and record! Definitely a big Taylor Sheridan fan and have high hopes for this last season.1 point

I stand corrected Whisper. Should have stated, up until the last week, where they did say it was close. I watch NBC ABC and CBS, and all are left leaning, IMO. Glad for the clean/clear transition of power, as you stated, it should be. Trump should have done the same. Personally I would not have voted for Harris because of her stand on the second and the constitution.1 point

I buy one every year there are some great pictures on the calendar. As well as it's a calendar. The best part, it's for a very good cause. The volunteers were here long before city and county departments came about. I challenge every member of Tennessee, Gun Owners to buy one, and you get a chance to win something.1 point

I also use https://shootingtargets7.com for probably 90% of my steel and would probably go 100% now. I had a few targets before I found shootingtargets7. I color code my targets since the thick steel doesn't ring well when hit with a .22. My Red targets are .22 only, Yellow is for handguns and carbines, Green is for pretty much anything I own. Obvious all of them can be used for .22. I have a hill going up into a thick forest behind the house so my range is scattered on the hill and form a natural backstop. I shoot from my back deck, so I'm shooting down at the closer targets plus all of them are tilled to deflect down. I find the rubber mulch that Aldi's puts on sale most every spring to be good cover for under targets. This is my 10 yard target. I know it seems close but I'm probably 10 feet or more above the target. This is my longer targets. These pictures were taken about 4 years ago so the trees have grown up a lot. I have to keep up with the trimming. I also have a place for paper targets beside the 10 yard target and at the upper Green targets for zeroing in site. I have a portable shooting bench I can setup down the drive away to get longer shots to the upper green targets but seldom us it. I also have a rimfire dueling tree that I bring out once in awhile. Hope this gives you some ideas, feel free to ask questions.1 point
