  1. Went to my Cardiologist yesterday. She was encouraging. Said she though I can get back a lot of heart flow, that I lost, with good diet, diabetic numbers in check, and Cardiac Rehab if I take it seriously and work at it. They are going to check my heart output, on July 2, to see how much I have improved. I have a trip set for August, to Alaska, on a cruise ship. She said not to cancel it because she thinks I will have improved enough to make the trip. Go for Rehab today at 1:00. Going to do it 3 days per week if I can. This will be my 3rd time at Rehab. Got work to do!

  2. "You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky? ' Well, do you, punk?" - Inspector Callahan Thinning out my safe queens. Someone would give this nice Model 29 a better home than my safe. Not really looking for trades at this time. For sale is my Model 29-2 with the Dirty Harry 6" barrel (yeah, he also used an 8" version in the movies). It is pinned and recessed. The felt in the presentation box is non-existent at this point. I just never bother to replace the plastic/felt insert. My S&W catalog dates the serial number to 1972. $1400 in the Mt. Juliet area.

  3. I've been saying for years that the education system in this country is extremely liberal biased. Their purpose is to turn out stupid, liberals who's only function is to follow the liberal agenda.

  4. I find it alarming that armed teachers are a threat to the students.....but it is really the indoctrination that some teachers spew to the students where the most harm comes from.

  5. Bought this a couple years back thinking I'd get into long range shooting. Not happening with my 69-year-old eye issues. I have $1600+ in this set-up with the Vortex Viper 30mm 6x24x50 AO. I can vouch it's 1/2 MOA out to 300 yards ... that's as far as I got. $1200 takes it home

  7. I can only speak for myself. For 12 years when my sons were growing up, I was a Boy Scout leader. I was also discretely armed. The boys never knew it. My thinking was that these kids are in my charge and I have a duty to protect them. I hope teachers feel the same way.

  8. mikegideion, I am NOT in favor of waiting to be shot in your room. Rt101 what about Jean Assam, who stopped the Colorado Church Shooter armed with the AR 15 and she has a 9 MM pistol. Or the Church Security team captain at the Sugarland Church of Christ in Texas. He made a head shot, with a 357 Sig pistol, on a shotgun toting perp at 40 paces dropping him on the spot. It is possible and can be done! I agree not many teachers will apply, IMO. But to use the other sides musings, "If It Stops One School shooter, early, It Will Be Worth it."

  9. Wow this thing is amazing. I was convinced I would hate the G10 grips so I ordered some wood ones. These grips are staying they are amazing and fit my hand like a glove. I installed a Wilson Combat adjustable and a Gold Dot Wilson combat front to replace the Night Sight, this was a big time improvement. 5 star Firearms make the Speedloader equipment pictured with my New Colt. I will shoot the crap out of it next week and let you all know what I think

  10. I bought a pair of these last November from Grabagun.com. One in 12 gauge and one in twenty gauge. Neither have been fired and are still just like brand new. My health is declining a bit in my old age and I have decided to keep the 20 gauge and sell the 12 gauge. They are 28 inch with 5 extra choke tubes. Price for the 12 Ga is $850. There is no bluing wear it is just a reflection of the lights. Located in Lenoir City, TN

  11. Kill the shooter. It's that simple. It ain't for everybody. That teacher can be a preacher's daughter, or an Army Ranger. Right now, an ex Army Ranger has to let some nut go room to room, and wait for his turn to die, where he's more than capable of killing the threat.

  12. Been a bit since this is updated with relevant deals and steals. This morning I bought 1K rounds of 9mm Blazer 115gr for 239.99 each and 3 boxes of 223/5.56 PMC 55gr for 9.39 each from Rural King in Sweetwater TN. I know not crazy low but seemed to be a deal compared to lately ammo prices. Just a friendly observation for my extended family. Seems crazy that 223/5.56 has become normal at .50/rnd for the cheap stuff and .27/rnd for cheap 9mm. I miss the .28/rnd for .223/5.56 and .10/rnd for 9mm.

  14. Looking to sell my Staccato P. Great gun, no issues, just not shooting it enough and need to make some room. Optic can be included for another $250. Must have TN ID and be legally able to own firearms. Located in Spring Hill and willing to travel ~20 miles. 21. I know it’s not on your list, but the P365 platform is really sweet. I personally carry a P365XL (first gen) with a Holosun and love the pistol. Before this I carried a shield 9 2.0, or a Springfield XD in 45acp. The P365 is just a really comfortable pistol for me to carry (AIWB) and shoot.

  22. I picked this up thru an auction as I love 1100s, I just don’t care for the strait grip. Pretty nice mid 80s gun, has 21” threaded barrel, twin beads, three chokes. I have 750 in it, would like to get my money back or trade towards a nice semi auto 12 or 28 gauge

  23. I've not seen many of these in the pistol grip configuration. Actually none. Looks like a SAT 8 but..... very light. Marked HK Fabarms. 12 guage 3" not the most practical, but the semi pistol grip caught my attention.

  24. SOLD PENDING MEET Up for sale here is a like new Brownells BRN-180M Billet complete lower. Great shape, very little usage. This is the standard billet lower, not the retro line. I’m probably never going to get a BRN upper, so thought I would offer it up for sale. Priced at $200 or will consider trades

  25. So I just ran 3 cylinders of Buffalo Bore .357 through it and, I am in love! the weight calms the recoil enough to make it managable, much more than I thought it would. I will zero my sights later but was able to put all 18 bullets on the steel plate at 10 yards, so I am happy. I will put a bunch of .38 special Gold Dots through her to zero it in. I absolutely love the Wilson sights and I think the Gold front sight is the best I can have on this revolver The only negative comment I can make about this when it came from colt, the rear sight, the Wilson is leaps and bounds better and an upgrade for Pythons and Anacondas that I highly reccomend. I intend to leave the Orange front sight on my upcoming 4.5 Anaconda but already have the adjustable rear waiting for it.
