Surgery went well according to surgeon. They let me come home Sunday afternoon. I'm not in a lot of pain accept when I do things I shouldn't but have no energy. Lot of doctor appointments and cardiac PT starting Friday, hope they have answers for how long it takes to get back to normal. Sounds like at least 6-8 weeks.

Yeah it’ll take you about that long before you feel normal. And can do things that you used to. Except for pushing and pulling on things like wrenches. It’ll feel like a mule kicked you in the chest. Your energy will come back. Just keep doing those exercises. Glad it’s over and you came through okay.

Wonderful to hear this. All your friends here are happy for you and we will continue to pray for your recovery.

My brother-in-law had a quadruple bypass in 2012/13? Took him a bit less time to recover his "normal" mobility. But he was a stubborn jackass. Refused to go by the proscribed regimine and had lots of pain because of it. Just do it the right way and you'll be fine.

Legs may not be as pretty though! LOL!

My recovery will be extended some, my wife I were tested positive for Corvid this morning. so far it hasn't hit me very hard, just a cough and a runny nos. My wife has the cough but also a headache and other aches. I'm sure we got it at the hospital, only place we have been. My son has shown no symptoms and is extending his stay till we get rid of the latest problem. He cooked a really good supper for us tonight. So my cardiac rehab start has been delayed by 10 days.

Studies show that surgeons recover quicker than patients.
