TWD Season 5

Recommended Posts

At least last night they jumped all over the place instead of focusing on 1 person or 1 group.  I guess some people thought that after the season opener, we were gonna have an action packed season.  Yea, there's been some slow episodes, but I'm not gonna stop watching now.

Darryl ripping off the zombie head by the eye sockets was the best SFX they've had all season. That was great!

The Talking Dead after show showed the filming of that and they had a lot of fun with that. It was a puppet and the moving spine was controlled by Darryl through the eye holes. It was really cool. The actors didn't know the walkers were real people until they started moving.

I think that's the best way to watch them because you can watch 3 or 4 episodes at a time. Watching from week to week always leaves me wanting more at the end of each episode.

Amen to that! Netflix is the way to go. We got sick and tired of the rate increases and pulled the plug on Comcast cable TV over a year ago.

Yeah. That was cool. I watch TTD to see the behind the scenes and on-set stuff and skip the rest.

I quit reading the DL comics when Rick lost his mind after the prison.

Rick gets his mind back in spades and the next nemesis makes the Governor look like you puppy dog.
You dog has no resemblance to him by the way. I am sure he is a fine companion.

Emily Kenny was in tears about it on TTD, very touching really. Though it may have been mostly over losing the gig and having to sell her condo and everything (he said crassly). ;)

Even Norman says he was crying on set that day.

There would be riots. :pleased: It's going to happen someday but I would bet in the last season and probably last couple of episodes.

Speaking of which... It does not seem like I've been watching this show for 5 years already. Wonder how many more seasons they can get out of this storyline?

I think you're right.  She probably thought she would be there a lot longer and is now thinking "Crap, now what?"  Any present or future cast member should know they could only last 1 episode or 100.  Wondering who's next... Gabriel, Eugene, maybe Tara.

I think they can go at least another 2 years. I think Daryl could become a co-lead man if he hasn't already so there is that much more story to build on. I don't think they will ever end it with any closure though. No cure or anything. I think they will finally hole up somewhere safe and end it with some form of real "rebuilding" and stability.
