The Tennessee Firearms Association is conducting a survey on our opinions as gun owners regarding firearms legislation that could, or should, come up in the next Tennessee Legislature. There are only about 8 questions.

They would like you to express your opinions at the TFA site here:

One question was interesting and should be a no-brainer. Any legislator or pollster or journalist etc. who intentionally falsifies any information or statistic to effect legislation or a vote should definatly be charged with a crime. It's a wonder as to why anyone has to ask the question in the first place. I always thought Dan Rather should have been indited along with his conspirators when he ran a story based on a false/manufactured document about Bush's National Guard record just days before a national election in an desperate attempt to affect the election. The reality is that people like Dan Rather and some others are immune from justice.

Unless you believe in property rights or contract rights, in which case, TFA is happy to throw your other rights under the bus to get a parking lot bill passed.

Done.

If you aren't a member of TFA, you should be.

Good organization fighting for your rights here in TN.

Done. Was there any other answer besides yes?  :)

Mostly yes but not completely.

Take some time to think about where these regulations could go. Especially the one dealing with private property. What are you willing to allow on YOUR property because the government/legislators force it upon you? Can of worms--i think so!

Only two I voted no on related to private property, and the clumsily worded one regarding states enforcing federal laws. No , I don't want any states participating in a gun grab, but that wasn't the question either, only an example given to justify the question.

I answered the first 8 questions, clicked next step and it said, "thank you for filling out the survey" and that was it. What private property question are you refering to?
