1.   I have said virtually the same thing for the last 20 years. I've been told that it was impossible. Can't happen. Islam can't get enough of a hold here to influence the country.   Right.   Look at the population figures for the Eastern European nations. Look at the dramatic increases in population segements. Where are those increases and where are the largest gains. France and Spain virtually run by Islam. England's muslim population is increaseing as well.   Now look around you. Do you see the expansion of the followers of Islam? More Mosques. More converts from the prisions. (And that 's another thing. Anyone wonder why the big push for converting the prision populations?) Study of the Quran in our public schools. Not as an elective, but as a required course.   Where do you think the Islamic revolution will come from? A tidal wave of ship-borne soldiers? Plane loads of civilians with the Quran in their arms to quietly and gently convert the countryside?   No. From the converts here. Can't happen? Look and think again.   This land of religious freedon has become the land of religious freedom for anyone but Christains.   And the longer it goes on, the more of these articles will be swept aside in favor of the latest athlete to come out or some other meaningless drivel.

 2. So I hear about this place from a buddy and since I've had the new gun itch, I decided to go this Saturday. It was like going back in time 1 year. To my surprise this place actually had a decent selection of firearms...not the random 30-06 and bare shelves. There were plenty of glocks, sigs, 1911s, ar15s, couple aks....basically all of Feinstein's favorites. There were even a couple of brand new Wilson Combats mixed in there. The best thing is that everything has a fair price tag. Brand new glocks for under 600 and I saw what I think is a bushmaster for 800-900. The guys behind the counter were really easy going and didn't get pissy when I wanted to see 6 or 7 rifles. I ended up taking 2 home. =)   Just wanted to share this for two reasons. One, I'm really sick of seeing people putting LaRue prices on DPMS rifles. I'm really hoping that no one is buying from these jerks anymore. I do think it is getting better because I see the same people putting the same outrageous prices on the same crappy weapons. But if you are one of the ones who is thinking about overpaying for a used weapon, check this place out. Which leads me to the second reason. When I was paying for my guns, I told the guy that I appreciate that his store wasn't price gouging when everywhere else is he responded with he hopes that people remember that when it's all said and done. I decided right there that this place earned my business for as long as I'm stationed in this state. I'll be going this place from now on even though it's a 45 minute drive.

Link to the story from NY http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/headless-bodies-new-jersey-lead-murder-arrest-article-1.1261218   I am telling ya, The Muslims are here to destroy our country from the inside. They want us to be tolerant, but will not tolerate us. We have to adjust to their ways, NOT ME.

 6. I had the privilege of ROing the range part of the HCP class put on by the Cleveland Hunting Rifle & Pistol Club on Saturday.  The students, and some of guns surprised me.     Of the 28 students 15 were women.  Some were wives, but there were single gals there as well.  One young gal shot a pistol for the first time ever, her new 9mm Taurus.  She obliterated the  main mass of the target with only one flyer off paper, her 1st shot.  As many women as men used Ruger & Browning .22 autos, the majority guns & caliber that I saw.  That was a surprise to me.  One wife didn't have a shot outside the 9 ring shooting a target Ruger .22.     I saw one old perfect condition Colt Cobra that a girl used, and several single action .22 Rugers.  One guy qualified with a post war, matching s/n, made in West Germany P-38 in 9mm.   I qualified with a Colt .45 and did get some odd looks years ago.  USMC, State Trooper and Cowboy backgrounds always have had me shooting big caliber guns.  I had my wife, family and daughters shoot .40 Glocks or K frame .38 S&W revolvers.    I was probably wrong pushing all of them to shoot the bigger guns.  Everyone needs to shoot what they are most comfortable with, especially for a HCP range test.   It was good to see so many young women deciding to get a HCP.  After shooting we talked a lot about what & how women can carry now.  It was a most enjoyable time and I would do it again.   Cherokee Slim

 9.   I've personally witnessed Reloader's Bench amongst others sending teams of people into Bass Pro (some were obviously somewhat out of place, not the type that you see roll into Bass Pro to prepare for Turkey season or pick up a holster) and buying up whatever was available after a shipment came in, well beyond the per person limits in place, even making multiple trips back into the store for more. I overheard other customers and staff at Bass Pro complain about it on a  couple of occasions. They were piling more than the set limits into carts before others could get their hands on it, and then moving to other aisles and dividing it up amongst themselves to check out, making multiple trips in and out of the store to buy more. I talked to the guys at the Bass Pro counter and said you guys must be sick of this ammo craze and all the phone calls to see if they got a shipment, they said they really didn't mind at all, just wished they had more ammo to sell,  and said what did make them mad were these greedy guys making multiple trips in to buy beyond their allotments, saying "dude, you were just in here 5 minutes ago, don't be greedy" after taking their first load out to their vehicles and coming right back in for another. Reloader's  elevated prices must partly be to compensate for having paid retail for it, taking what was intended for customers to begin with to stock their store. That's why Bass Pro in the past week or so has had to implement a 2 box per caliber limit on ammo, 1 box if above 100 shells per box, I believe they've also started 2 magazine per customer limits because of the AR-15 mag hoarding and possibly similar policies on reloading supplies.

 10. Wow, you might have a very rare piece. I would not do anything more than wipe it down with some oil until you figure out what it is.   I have seen people take a $5K gun and turn it into a $500 gun by trying to "restore" it. I would not touch that gun with anything other than a soft cotton cloth.

 12. I didn't say anything about "rights" did I? :) But, while we are on the subject, not Obummer...not the 51%...not anyone has a "right" to the money I've earned through my own efforts nor does anyone have a right to dictate to me or any other working person how much income or savings or assets is "reasonable".

 16. Starting that slippery slope.  First it will start with the wealthy.  Then it will be the well off.  And later on the middle class.  They don't really need that $1 million in their IRA, so they can retire early.   The one piece of advice I've given to my  all my kids and their friends that have graduated from college or are working good jobs that I know, that they need to start their 401K and max it out immediately.  They don't have it in their pocket, they will never miss it.  That way, if they want to retire at 55 they will be able to afford to.   You know what all of in the middle class needs to do is quit working and go on the Government tit and suck this country on down the financial tubes and then start all over again!!!  If we are all on welfare, then no one will be paying Obama and the Liberal's salaries and the Government will fall apart!!!   Far fetched I know, but I get tired of paying for all the stupid stuff our Government does!!!

 21. I just got back from my first sitting for a half sleeve tattoo based on the Crusades.  Several large Templar knights covered in blood, with a lot of knights and fighting in the background and some conspicuously middle eastern architecture in the background.   I've got two more sittings to go and it'll be complete and then sometime in the next year or two we're going to complete the sleeve with a lower arm piece that incorporates modern warfighters.   Basically the theme is "Same shit, different day".   So... yeah... I'm completely in tune with my cultural diversity and sensitivity toward the goat-screwing cave dwellers.  :D

 22. Think of zombies as a metaphor for anything unexpected that might pop up in your life. Being prepared and being able to deal with unexpected adversity is sort of the point of it.   Plus, zombies are pretty cool and The Walking Dead is the best show on TV right now.

 26. And here in Tennessee a retailer cannot ask the user of a EBT card for ID to verify the user and the card match. It is 100% against the rules and if they do the retailer can loose the ability to accept EBT cards. My brother, who's only problem is illegal drug use, receives disability and is given free medical as well as a EBT card to use. I have been told by workers at a local store that people, other than my brother, have been using my brother's card. I asked about carding the users and they explained they could not for privacy reasons.   When standing in Walmart or Sam's I am always looking at who is using a EBT card. Any day of the week it is 1 in 4 and towards the begining of the month it seems like it is about 50% that are using an EBT card. And the stuff that is allowed is mind boggling.   And those with EBT cards can even get cash off their card to use however they want.   I have told the story before but there is a lady who buys the packets of tuna for her cats using a EBT card. She is not shy about announcing it either. When asked why she does she said because she can't buy cat food on her EBT card. She said until she can buy cat food she will just buy the packs of tuna. I feel bad spending $2 per pack for the tuna packs and she uses it to feed her cats.

 34. Of course there is a difference between an informed buyer and a panic buyer. An informed buyer will pass up over priced items and when things calm down will not shop the over priced store A panic buyer will pay any price until they realized they have been riped off. Then they in turn will move on and remember not to shop at that store again

 35. Exactly,    Both the right to price high and the right to not ever shop there again are capitalism.   Kurt

 47.
The letter states it is a firearm however is not a pistol or hand gun and is not exempt from AOW.
JFC, you're hopeless. The difference is in the 26" OAL distinction. Under that it's an AOW, over it, it's not. That's why the Franklin gun is legal.
