One afternoon while driving down the road with my daughter I had some fool attempt to run me off of the road. He sped up, got in front of me and pulled over, jumped out of his truck and started dancing, for lack of a better term, on the side of the road. I kept going. He followed me for a good ten miles, the whole time I was on the phone with LMPD giving them tag number and all other identifying factors. I told the dispatcher plain and simple, "I will be at my destination in less than five minutes, if he follows me there, I am armed, and I am in fear of mine and my daughter's life." The police were waiting for us when we pulled in the parkinglot. For some reason he took off like a bat out of hell and didn't stop...4 points

David is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He treats my grandson Cameron like his own grandchild. I can't say enough about how good he is to deal with. One of the best men I know. Buy from him with confidence!4 points

The guy has been arrested, hopefully he will be off the streets for a little while this time.3 points

I think what they do in Saudi Arabia to thieves is something we civilized people should consider. They cut off the hands. Those without hands have a life time of constant justice, and wiping their butts effectively!3 points

As promised, here is our P.O.S. This photo is from a past warrant. This guy is a career criminal. HCSO say that another woman walked in on him in her home some time last year but identified him from my buddy's video. If permit holders can not carry at the stadium then neither should off duty police. Its funny how upset they got when they had to follow the same rules as normal people.2 points

Don't worry, it's only temporary. A few trips to the gun stores and you'll find another gun you 'need'.1 point

Haven't gotten to it yet, but have seen a couple of ads that make it look interesting. Plus, I seem to be becoming a Woody Harrelson fan of late. So, after the wife goes back to work and I can get away from Lifetime, I'll give it a try.1 point

Not a thing wrong with you. I am the same way - got everything I want. Haven't bought a gun in three years and haven't seen anything I gotta have. It's called being content.1 point

You could call an FFL in that persons area and see if they would be willing to act as an escrow. You send them payment in the form of MO or Cashiers check they hold it until he brings in gun to be shipped to you. I think in this case it would also be reasonable for you to pay the FFL for their troubles1 point
-
Catch 22. How is he gonna make the effort to turn a gun over to FFL for shipping so you can verify by phone with FFL before you pay him? When you pay him first, how you gonna know he's using an FFL to ship, or ship at all? Does Armslist have a feedback rating like Gunbroker? (sorry, I've never perused it enough to notice). I assume there's no way to use plastic to pay him, right? - OS1 point

I forgot to cast my priming method opinion, Do yourself a favor and pick up the RCBS hand primer (not the universal model). I primed one case with the primer setup that came with my Turret press and tossed it, having to place each primer by hand is crazy IMO. I actually enjoy priming cases with the RCBS primer and usually do just as Greg said, sit in front of the TV and prime away. Measuring loaded rounds may not tell you much as the cases will weigh different and the bullets will weigh differently and their variances will usually be more then most any minor powder charge fluctuation when loading pistol.1 point

Thank you for the helpful info. A family member has a one in 410. It has ran GREAT. Next time I see him I'll look and see if the 410 is the same.1 point

Unfortunately he'll be out and about in another few months after his arrest just like he is now from his August 2013 arrest.1 point

Quite the risk, since you could lose your "right" to ever own firearms again by exercising same. - OS1 point

I'd love to go even though I'm not a morning person. :) But not being able to exercise my TN limited 2A privileges there also dissuades me. - OS1 point

When I did my research 2 years ago, I read hundreds of message boards and comments. I understand the curing process for the air dry is like 30 days, vs the oven version which is complete once the baking is over. I also remember from my research that many people are impatient with the air dry product, like using cleaning chemicals on the surface before the cure is complete, and then the chemicals damage the surface. Otherwise I think I recall no other difference, same durability.1 point

How is it possible that this man could have acquired a firearm? Doesnt he know there are laws against felons owning guns?1 point
