Cable Box with a rotary knob/dial
(and flipping that rotary dial back and forth quickly to try to catch a glimpse of a channel you did not have!) 🙂

I never saw one of those. I was still using a antenna for the three channels we got and going outside to turn the antenna when changing channels.

I had an old truck with 3 on the tree. Damn I miss Ole Blue.

I'm setting here thinking and I own a 3 on the tree, 2 4s in the floor, a 4 in the floor with a 2 speed split stick rearend, a motorcycle with 2 wheels (not 3 😁) and a push button automatic. 🤔  Im just realizing I love variety no matter the hobby lol

We had Green Stamps when I was a kid. I remember the IGA Foods near my house always had a display set up w/ empty books and a big catalog tied down on a cord to look at to see what you'd buy.

I remember being dragged to Bowling Green by my mother and her mother to go get stuff with them. I wasn’t real impressed with that store.

I'll see your pedals and raise you a three on the 🌳

Still had three pedals no matter where the gear lever was located.

Learned to drive in a 65 Chevy C10. Straight 6, 3 on the tree.

Don't forget the choke! I learned in a 66 GMC pickup that my Dad bought brand new. It stayed in the family through 4 kids and 2 engines, big ol 305 V6.

I have a couple of these if anyone needs one. I also have a car  8 Track player new in the box and a couple dozen tapes.  The things you keep when you clean out your parent's house.  I did throw out 3 or 4 dozen 8 track tapes I only kept the good ones. 🙂
