Got some bad news today..

This afternoon I received a frantic call from my grandmother saying that my grandfather was 'dead' in his bedroom floor.  Well, he wasn't.. I arrived prior to the EMTs and he was unconscious but still alive.  That was the high point of the day..

 

We've known for a while he had an 'inoperable' pulmonary aneurysm. Well, it burst.. He got out of surgery less than an hour ago. It didn't go well. We're being told he has 12-24 hours left to be with us.

 

He's a good man and practically raised me for the majority of my childhood. If any of y'all are the praying type, send one up for us if you don't mind!

Fwiw, It's been an odd year for me already. I've been to two funerals this year and a church friend of my wife's is in the hospital. One local forum buddy was also down in the hospital.
