  1. So if I calculated correctly, this is my 1000 post on TGO.  I wanted to take this moment to thank everyone on here for being so cool.  Since joining I have had the opportunity to meet several members here, buy and sell a few things, and learn a lot.  TGODavid has a awesome thing going here and I hope it continues on for future gun lovers can share these same experiences.  I consider TGO members my friends and a extended family.  ROCK ON TGO!!!!!!!!

  5. If Rubio thinks we need more immigration laws than we already have then the cancer of big government has gotten to him. The gang of eight proves it. A fresh face is good but not if he can't see what's outside the box.   Personally I think there are a lot more problems than immigration to worry about, just enforce the laws already on the books and do that with every issue. The whole fricking problem is too many laws and regs and idiots making new ones.         .

  6. I see myself supporting Ted Cruz or Rand Paul long before I'd support Rubio.  I don't believe in granting amnesty of any type to people that knowingly break our laws every day.  I've heard all of the arguments supporting Hispanics, and I agree with a lot of them.  Breaking the law is still breaking the law.  I find it strange to see so many Hispanics walking our streets, stores, and schools, and we know they're here illegally.

  7. Here is the problem with this so called bill. Toomey and Mansion bill. Both of these phony Conservatives think they need to "compromise" with the gun grabbing liberals. Chuck Schumer, the most anti-gun anti 2nd amendment progressive on the left wrote the bill. He is bought and paid for by Bloomberg. Toomey won't even be seen on stage with Schumer in fear his base won't approve. Both of them are posturing with both parties in their districts  hoping not to offend them in hopes they get re-elected.It has nothing to do with safety or "protecting the children". These politicians must be told that they work for us. The Constitution which includes the bill of rights is not up for compromise and shall be protected  at all costs.   And another fact is, the bill isn't even written yet, these politicians are going to vote on a bill then write it.after the fact. Just like "Obamacare' remember  Pelosi's famous quote "we have to vote on it to see what is in it:  This bunch of incompetent idiots have got to go before we don;t have an America we even recognize. :usa:

  9. I vote defensively. I can't overlook the fact that big money runs this country, and ALWAYS WILL. No matter who gets voted into the system, they will never be able to overpower that simple fact. They're much more likely to get sucked in.   We're not in the position to start gaining ground until we stop losing so much of it. Say all you want about the Republicans... we would be in DEEP shit without them. Second Amendment... GONE. It all comes down to who has the most votes. In some cases, the Republican party has too much power, and in others, not near enough. If the conservative side of the aisle fragments, we're screwed.   God bless Rand Paul and some of the others. We need to keep electing people like that. With that said, the number one enemy is the left. Anything we do to weaken ourselves in that fight will be far worse than what Karl rove can do.

  12. I respectfully disagree. I've been volunteering with state and local elections for years and these assholes just don't seem to grasp reality. They lie their asses off and promise the world but do whatever it is they want once they are elected. Is the Republican ideas better suited to me than the demonrats? Of course it is. But voting Libertarian is more in line with what I believe. I think it might be easier to influence someone in that party than the statist morons that are in charge of the Republican party. Stick around and see what you can do with them if you want...it's your right. Me personally...I've had enough.

  21. Wow a couple of dozen people, they need to go to Gander Mountain on Friday mornings and look at the line to buy ammo. That's 200 people or more waiting 3 hrs to buy ammo. I'm amazed to know that 8% of the population have cleared the shelves of just about all ammo caliber in every state. 92% MORE POLITICAL UNTRUTHS!!

  22. I use Gunbot as a easy way to find who is price gouging so I will never buy from them again.

  23. DHS is not behind the ammo shortage. Keep in mind the shortage is for more than hollow point pistol rounds and 223. Another thing to keep in mind is that the DHS contract is just that, a contract to buy at a set price. It is not like they are actually purchasing billions of rounds at once.

  24. He lost my business when I wanted to buy 2 Glock 19's... he had 4 in stock, but they were going to go fast. I said, well, I am en route to the store, I would pay with a CC over the phone... he said, "Nope". I got there, and dang, 1 hour later, they were both gone. He sold one over the phone the lady said.. I said, " no he would not sell it to me over the phone". Ken jumped in and said " I don't have the guns in stock and won't sell over the phone".  The whole deal was so sketchy. I went down the road to another Pawn store and they had exactly what I needed for MAP price and was super friendly...

  26. I haven't played with my Blackout much. It likes a 16" barrel. I'm using H110 powder, which is real fast for a rifle. I don't think there's enough case capacity to go much slower. I'm thinking that a longer barrel might not help much. Dolomite can add to this. He has played a lot more than I have. Here's my 125G Nosler load. Note that 98.3% of the powder is burned with a 16" barrel.

  27.   Yeah. TDR built one and did OK. I just won't start one until the parts are flowing. I'm an idiot, and my OCD will push me into paying higher prices to finish the build :)

  28. Saw this on Facebook. Pretty awesome.     Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11-year-old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home. It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay-shooting champion since she was nine.Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12-gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun. Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee-crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals. When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the ...street... where he bled to death before medical help could arrive. It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45-caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David 0'Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news........?

  29. I think a topped out Dillon 650 is as good as you're gonna get for volume. It's also expensive. So far, I don't need that kind of volume. Maybe one of these days. I stay way ahead on ammo with just my auto indexing turret. Still loading a couple of things single stage.

  30. Same here. I really don't give a damn if a Republican ever wins another office until something changes in that party. I know what the Democrats are trying to do, and can prepare to combat it. I never know what the Republicans are up to, and that makes them impossible to defend against.   Until people quit voting for them simply because they have an "R" after their name, that's all we'll get from them.

  45. So whats it gonna take? Alof of people have adopted Molon Labe as their war cry. Wonder if any in New York will follow through, and how many here will condem their actions. This is what we have been afraid and vowed to fight folks. Gun confiscation for any reason is an act of tyrannry. If the line isn't drawn here, we can kiss our gun rights, all of them, goodbye in under ten years. Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere
