I'll say it again, most every time somebody names a "worst movie". That ain't even in the neighborhood of the ballpark of being the worst movie ever. If you think so, you just haven't seen very many movies "in your 40+ years"! - OS2 points

American Reloading. https://www.americanreloading.com/en/ Their prices fluctuate with sales. They have been having various 50% off inventory reduction sales so some stuff is out of stock but their prices are normally good anyways. I've bought brass and bullets from them before. They are good to go but can take a week or two to ship. Accuracy wise, I have used plated bullets from several sources and they are all about the same. I dont measure pistol groups, just shoot at paper and steel.2 points

That is by far [not] the worst movie ever. Have you ever seen Human Centipede? If not, don't go looking for it.2 points

There's nothing about being a Muslim that has anything to do with race. It's a lifestyle choice. A man don't choose to be white, black, Jew or puerto rican. He DOES choose to follow a given religion. Or in this case, a cult. I despise Islam and the fact that there may be some who ignorantly follow that contemptuous filth who are decent enough folks is irrelevant. It doesn't change the fact that it's the only religion of any consequence that daily shows its evil nature. I don't care what God a fella wants to follow but when it destroys lives it should be treated in kind. Kill it. No religion is without some dirt on their hands but you don't see Buhddists, Taoists or Hindus acting like this. AND despite their checkered past, Christians don't act like this either. I will go on record too as saying IF the Christian (so called) church wanted to act like they did in the dark ages, I'll be first in line to say put the Pope on the end of a rope and shove a cross up a bible thumpers butt. But I won't have to because they don't act like that. It's clearly evident that race is not a factor here. Middle eastern Muslims, African Muslims...Jihad John...the list goes on. All walking peices of human fecal matter. .2 points

When I feel like I am getting ripped off my inner curmudgeon raises his ugly head. After tonight's trip to the grocery I once again am suffering from curmudgeon overflow. On the bright side, my wife will probably not hit me up to go with her again for a while. Anyway, I refer to the following as examples of how we as consumers are being ripped off: Cardboard sleeves inside toilet paper and paper towel rolls are bigger around reducing amount of sheets per roll. 1/2 Gallon of ice cream is now 1.75 or 1.5 quarts Coffee containers of any brand continue to shrink and price goes up (All containers for that matter) Five pounds of sugar is no more, now 4 pounds or less We all remember how big a Baby Ruth, or any candy bar used to be Re-configured containers with indention's as handholds or visual appeal which reduces content When was the last time you saw a 50 pound bag of dog food? These are just a few examples and what started this rant was I love Claussen Kosher dills pickles. I picked up a jar tonight and realized that the pickle spears were "floating around" in the jar with about a half inch of juice in the bottom where the spears did not even reach the bottom. They used to be packed from lid to bottom and packed so tight you had to pull the first one out with a fork and had friction between the spears to do so. It appeared that there were at least 4 to 5 spears missing from the jar. I looked at all the jars and they were all that way. I put them back. Sorry to bother you all with my rant, but my wife was tired of hearing it.1 point

After Rick played punching bag with the Zead head to mess up the nose. Best line of all to date was by the Hilltop guy talking to Rick. " The Saviors are scary but these pricks have nothing on you".1 point

Here is a pretty comprehensive 6.8 mag review http://68forums.com/forums/showthread.php?14420-6-8-SPC-Magazine-Review1 point

I know RCBS makes them, and Hornady, but after looking at them I would think you could just make one. Almost like making a gear or wheel puller.1 point

My only ar is a 20" 6.8. Shoots nice. Not any diff in recoil vs 223 and extra mass in the bullet! Get the PRI mags. They work. A 223 mag can work but you can't fill it up....1 point

Oh I did too, the entire movie until the end. If the rest of the movie was bad, I wouldn't have cared, but it was really good. But the end was like they forgot to write the last scene.1 point

I don't Facebook, but I appreciate the suggestion. :) Waiting to hear back from a farmer down the road, if that doesn't work out I'm going to call the feed store and see if they have a customer that might be interested. Worst case scenario I can probably hire the company I bought gravel from to do it, but I'm sure that will be extremely expensive. Probably be cheaper than me having to load my tractor up and haul it down there though.1 point

Get an ARP Superbolt with your choice of carrier or a Stag BCG if you want high quality 6.8 stuff. Something to be aware of, the LWRC 68 stuff is not quite the same - mags are different and I believe the receivers are too.1 point

It's a bit of a drive from Mount Juliet, but Clarksville Guns and Archery is one of the biggest blue label dealers in the area. I used my GSSF card with them and got great service. Give them a call about options. www.clarksvillegunsandarchery.com1 point

One more state joins the elite group of Constitutional carry states. I’m told we need to “take baby steps”; that’s BS. We have taken plenty of baby steps; it’s time to walk. So much time and energy is spent here on meaningless stuff; it keeps us from getting the real deal.1 point
-
Polecat, you can certainly do that...you also need a 6.8 bolt at the least, or a complete bolt carrier group for your 6.8 upper would be slightly easier. Then as time and savings allow, build you a second lower and then you've got two rifles!1 point

There is no limit to the stupidity of some people. How much did this cost the municipality?1 point
-
Maybe I'm tired, but based on that math so are you. :) 7000 grains in one pound, divided by your example of 5 grains a round is 1400 rounds per pound of powder. That doesn't affect the cost of that pound, just the grains for your load affects the price per round and total number of rounds loaded. FWIW, the last pistol powder I have bought (TiteGroup, W231, and CFE Pistol) have all been less than $22 per pound in the last 2 years and usually only $20/#.1 point

The onboard cams of those new bikes in HD will scare the piss out of you if you're a rider. I understand completely why a lot of pro teams won't let their riders get out there, if there was a measurement of insane, TT is off the charts.1 point

Certainly not trying to talk anyone out of what they like. For me, just can't imagine any improvement over my Kahr PM9. About as small as any 9mm made with its capacity, all smooth contours, no safeties, simply pull it out and pull the trigger. Even a J frame feels like a thick slab to me by comparison, plus I get 2 extra rounds and quick reload. And it's not a .380 either. ;) - OS1 point

They do indeed sell primers and they really need to put them behind the counter. The last three times I've been there I've seen enough foolishness to make me wary of buying them. People just can't seem to keep from opening them. First was some girl who dumped 100 primers all over the shelf and floor. Took her forever to pic them up and put them back in the tray. Next time, same story but someone else. Last time some guy rifled through nearly every pack on the shelf. I don't know if he was looking for the perfect primer or what but he sure was trying. There is a gun show this weekend. TGO's favorite reloading supplier (dlm37015) is probably there and usually has what you need at very good prices. His booth is under the big white with red letters "RELOADING SUPPLIES" sign. As the show is at the Expo he'll be in the back right corner.1 point

This has got to be the stupidest thing I've read in a while. Looks like to bomb squad just wanted something to do. I've found old ammo in the past. I disposed of it by putting it in my rifle and firing it...1 point
