  4. Thanks to a forum member here I was able to get a Kadet 2 conversion kit. Shortly there after I found a CZ 75 D Compact steel frame that was worked on by Cajun Gun Works. This thing is a blast.

  5. So for the last few months I’ve been working towards a production manager job at work, and in Late January it became all but imminent that as long as I didn’t screw the pooch it would be mine when it opened up. So to celebrate the fact I went ahead and put in a call to American Classic Gunleather for a BBQ rig to go with the classy N frame I had for it. The gun is a 25-5 4” smith in .45 Colt wearing Culina Claro Walnut grips, and the leather is American Classic Gunleather legend Holster, with a full floral carved belt and 6 round slide to match. I couldn’t be more ecstatic at how they turned out and they showed up on the same day as my final interview for the position. So Cheers to all of you on this fine Saturday!

  7. I purchased this Stevens model 301 .410 shotgun new for my daughter last year for turkey hunting. She decided to stick with her 20 gauge though. This is still new, unfired, never carried and never had a shell loaded into the breach. Price is $170 Must be a Tennessee resident and do a bill of sale.

  13. Thursty, For what it's worth I run a Ruger RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor for 1000-yard competition. One of the best "lower cost" LR rifles out there in my opinion. I reload for it however if you are getting into Long Range which I suspect you may be, my RPR really liked the off the shelf Hornady 140 grain ELD rounds. (81500) Just throwing it out there, good luck with your search.

  28. We don’t have a sign except the front door and I don’t ever come through the front lol. My main concern is always a pissed off former employee so all the supervisors and managers are usually a little more on edge after we walk one out. The majority of us take our safety very seriously

  30. My work has that same rule, but we don't even have an unarmed security guard. I can't tell you if there is a sign on the doors or not...I don't recall every looking for one.

  33. #1 I haven’t made it to Wally World yet as I generally avoid that place like the plague if at all possible. I did wear it fishing for a few hours and made an evening run to Food City with it. Oliver Springs is a pretty small town so an open carried pistol is more likely to get comments on brand or the leather than anything negative #2 The rule book says no firearms or weapons may be carried on work premises and since I would never break the rules I, like everyone else there, depend on the $12 an hour contracted, unarmed security guard at the gate to keep me safe from harm.

  35. First model of the Canik imported isn't it? Anyway, I have one of these. Shoots great. Love it. It's what first got me into the Canik line of pistols. Haven't seen a bad one yet. So buy this and get hooked! Plus Alingo is a great man to deal with.

  37. I honestly think it’s just a bad batch of ammo. It happens, but Blazer Brass is generally good stuff. CCI should be contacted.

  38. Ok. This is probably a weird one for Tennessee, but this is a snowmobile trailer. It has been converted over to a motorcycle trailer in the sense that it has wheel chocks and traction for the tires. Has a ramp that mounts under the trailer that will attach to the rear, but also to either side of the front, so you can just ride straight off. Has rear legs so it doesn’t tip. Very spacious. Had a limb come down and poke a hole in the top, but we skinned it over with silicone and a new sheet of aluminum. Purchased from my dad, who purchased from my uncle, so it’s sort of one family owned. comes with 3 extra wheels and tires and two motorcycle chocks.

  42. Rebates are always slow in coming, but they do come. I purchased 2 Savage Rifles that had 150.00 rebates a couple years back. Took 6 weeks to get the two checks. Sure makes the rifles and pistols cheaper. Those two Savages, an Axis 7MM 08 with Weatherby 3 X 9 42MM scope and a 308 Axis with the same scope. Bass Pro also had a 125.00 off to coincide with the rebate. If memory serves me well, the rifles cost a little over 165.00 out the door each once the rebates came. They were Christmas specials. B Pro has not had that good of sale since. Now I ask you, is that not cheap for 2 brand new rifles. My grandson, whom I gave the 308, and I have shot the snot out of those rifles. I gave him 6 boxes of 20 rounds each Winchester Deer season XP, and he and his buddies shot it up for practice/plinking. When he went back to replace the ammo, he found out there was such a thing as practice ammo (Much Cheaper). His dad almost corked when he checked out at Wal Mart. Don't think that will happen again. I don't like to shoot big rifles here at home much as the sound raises the roof for my neighbor's houses. Edited to add; I am a big S W fan. I have 4 fantastic plastic MP 9 MM and several S W revolvers now. All have been great.
