  2. Woke up Monday morning with my truck sitting on my chest. Woke my wife and told her I think I am having an attack. She called 911 took the ambulance 20 minutes to get to my house. Ten minutes later I was on the road to Ascencion St Thomas in Murfreesboro. There about 20 minutes and was taken to Cath lab. Had a blood clot in one of my bypass arteries. Now heart muscle damage and am in heart failure with only 30% heart output (should be 50 to 75 % at my age) but finally home. Not feeling real bad but am somewhat weak. Will need serious rehab and rest. Heart muscle damage and in danger of several bad outcomes in the short time future. I got to get the weight off and watch diet plus take 3 different heart related new meds now and pray for the best. Consensus is, most probably caused by my bout with Coved about 2 months ago. Seems a lot of people who get the new strain of Coved are having blood clots shortly afterwards. Looking to an uphill climb at 76 now. My wife and girls are very glad I am home. Life is short guys. Hope you all are prepared for your demise, I am. I am a child of Jesus the Christ and live for HIM. I am sure my attack took place 5 minutes down the road to the Hospital and could tell the Paramedic was excited with trying to show it. Kept running heart strips all the way to the Hospital. Both my arms were tingling and almost useless, and I began sweeting profusely. I was not scared and was at total, peace, after my prayer, with whatever happened. Only way to be that way is to be a child of Jesus, guys. I did feel terrible concerning and sorrow for my wife because if worse came to worse she would be left alone. Think about eternity guys, please.

  4. Absolutely not. I have a single shot .22 that belonged to my Grandpa and I probably havent shot it a dozen times in 20 years. It has a permanent place in my gun case because no amount of money can buy those memories and that provenance

  11. This gun almost looks new and only show subtle signs of use. Based on the low serial, it appears that this jewel IS ALL ORIGINAL, made in 1942 and it has what appears to be a stamped general motors barrel with INLAND MFG, 12-42. Please reach out with any questions that you may have.

  13. Nothing wrong with it in my opinion. I have the 1st rifle I ever shot. But I had to purchase my grandfathers entire collection from the "estate" to get it. 100% worth it

  14. Every new story I've read so far says they kicked the door in around 6am to serve a warrant for selling guns w/out proper paperwork. That sounds exactly like what the ATF would do. Rather than arrest him when he leaves the home, pull him over on the way to work, or arrest him at work, they chose the most violent, risky, and least intelligent means to their end.

  15. Hello! I liquidating my gun collection after many many years of gathering up cool things. I am located in Nashville (TN). Let me know if you are interested. I also have loads of ammo that I am selling. I will post at 75 to 80% GB prices (that is how I priced these) and as they wait to sell, I will drop the prices a few times until they are gone. So check back. I am not positive as to what things are worth locally, but I set everything as better than GB. Also, I will work with you if you buy more. 16. Well, since communists deal in instilling fear, I believe everyday people will cease setting up at gun shows. Attendance will be down & many promotors will go out of business. I believe many will drop prices & liquidate their collections. I believe there will be arrests both at homes & gun shows to bolster their agenda, make examples. These tactics have been used in various states, especially the blue states. I hope I'm wrong & these unconstitutional "laws" are overturned. Some here have labeled President Trump a dictator, yeah right, there's a dictator & his minions in office now seeing to the destruction of our country.

  19. I got a Jeep gladiator in 2023. I have haven't been in the Studebaker since it got the Jeep. It's pushing a year. I took it out today to get gas and spray it off. It took more than hour because of the non English speaking individuals that want to take pictures. I got to hug some attractive Latino women. I'm convinced it's the only thing that can kill me it scares the hell out of me. I deleted 90% of what I had to say after this. Be good to you Wife and Kids. They will remember you. No one else will care

  20. Eh, I didn't see anyone get mad. We just obviously think you're wrong in this context. No offense meant of course, but you made a post to ask so... collectively, we answered. One extra cool thing about this place: If someone WAS trying to sell you used as NIB... you can report that. The community does its best to weed out dishonest folks.

  22. My boys and I are working on fixing this up. It's taken a lot longer than I'd hoped but we're getting there. My wife's granddad bought it new. While I was able to drive it across town to our house, we've had to do a lot of stuff to get it running reliably. Almost there. Trying to use it to teach them about wrenching. I'd love to put an LS in it, but just trying to get the 4.3 running well for now.

  28. Yep. I wonder how much prices in general are going to go up now due to this new hitch in the supply chain. I’m being a bit facetious, but also serious. Where do the boats with European ammo shipments land? Hope it’s not around there.

  30. I turned 67 on groundhogs day. I’ve dislocated both shoulders, broke left arm twice, skin graft on left hand from a fight with a FedEx conveyor belt, bone spur on left knee, gall bladder tried to kill me and was removed, 1 ruptured disk and 1 slipped disk and heart attack requiring 2 stints. Other than these minor issues I’m in pretty good shape. BS. If I were a horse they would have shot me years ago. Hope you’re on the mend! “ Getting old ain’t for sissies. “

  31. Kind of hate to to this but putting this beauty up for sale to help fund some other spending habits.... Dan Wesson DWX Compact. Has a total of 300 rounds through it and is one of my favorite guns of all time. The wonderful feel of a 75 compact paired with a nice, crisp SAO trigger, what's not to love. Comes with original zippered cased, 2 original mags and then 3 more mags complete with the aluminum DW baseplates. Not much more to say other than you won't be disappointed $1600, no trades considered Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

  32. Up is a beautiful 686-4. An older model with the case hardened hammer/trigger. Newer models do not have this value add. The action is clean and crisp. This 686-4 had the trigger action tuned by Actions by “T” in Sugarland TX. Look him up! He has been rated one of the top pistol-smiths in the USA and specializes in revolver lock work. Timing checked and action tuned. Asking- $900.00 OBO. No trades at this time. I do not have the original grips. Buyer must show TN Carry Permit. Prefer established TGOer. FTF IN Fairview- Buyer must be legally able to own/buy firearms.

  33. I just picked up this Springfield Armory SOCOM 16 at my FFL I made a trade deal for it off another forum I belong to. I'm thinking of a new project just got to figure out what. I am going to get a wood stock for it, I just prefer them to the "plastic" ones. Here's one pic I took after I got it home it came with the orginal Box, web Sling all the paperwork, some manuals, and one 10rnd. mag and three 20rnd mags. I'll post some more once I figure out what I want to do.

  36. As the title says, I just received another slide back from DP Custom Works. I took an M&P 2.0 Compact, non optics slide and sent it off to Doug so that he could work his magic on it. I don't have many handguns left that aren't running a dot optic, and this takes care of one more of them. This time I went with his M&P EDC slide milling package and added top cocking serrations and an optic cut for the Holosun 407K / EPS footprint and had him re-finish the whole thing in fresh new Melonite. This is the fourth slide that I have had Doug work on and the quality of the work is impeccable, as always. The gun is wearing a Holosun EPS MRS, which is the fuller sized EPS variant with dual fuel (battery and solar) and automatic adjustment for ambient light. Iron sights are a set of Ameriglo that I already had on the gun; Doug reinstalled them after re-finishing the slide.

  37. Ok. I probably should have taken better (more) photos. This is the rifle I got when my buddy Bjon got the one above. It’s also a Winchester 1894 but from 1907 chambered in 38-55. I cleaned up and re-did the oil finish on the wood. This was the dirtiest rifle I have picked up yet. It made me wonder if it had been cleaned in the last 50+ years. I had to get oil in it just to get it to cycle. I did a complete tear down, cleaning and such. The rust was removed from the metal parts for the most part and then cold blued. I like them to still have some of their character, not to look like a Turnbill gun. I picked up an old Lyman peep sight for this one.

  38. It seems the fellow WAS doing business without a license. At least, what he was doing was very sketchy. That said, ATF once again proved that they love to turn a simple arrest into a firefight. If it was about enforcing a (patently unconstitutional) law, then just asking him to come into the office, or having the local police do a traffic stop would have sufficed. "Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." - George Washington
