  1. That's awesome, always have wanted one, or to shoot one at least. I know they're a beast of a shotgun though.
  2. What's the deal with the DD? Or does it fall in the same time frame as the Street Sweeper and such getting labeled as DDs?
  3. That's a much cooler version of my running them down the stairs when I was younger to watch the explosion.
  4. As a holster maker I can say light bearing holsters are a pita. If you were going for kydex there's a company called Long's Shadow that makes some really unusual combos of light bearing holsters. Another one is Midwest Tactical Solutions and he does nice work. Past that it's usual Safariland, Bravo, Raven, etc.
  5. KNS is coming out with an adjustable gas piston now for AKs, or were, haven't seen anything on it recently. Not saying you don't go for drilling out the pistons, just throwing out options. Next up is you need to build one.
  6. That looks good...
  7. I second the comment on knives eating holes with the pocket clip. You could always go the pocket organizer to hold a pen light, knife, pen, etc. I did one for myself for certain occasions. I'll see if I can find it and shoot you a picture.
  8. Don't see anything wrong with machining those rings to fit, especially if it's only temporary.
  9. Would something like this work? https://ads.midwayusa.com/product/228748/dnz-products-freedom-reaper-1-piece-scope-base-with-1-integral-rings-ar-15-carry-handle-matte?utm_medium=shopping&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Optics+-+Scope+Rings%2C+Bases%2C+Mounting+%26+Accessories&utm_content=228748&cm_mmc=pf_ci_google-_-Optics+-+Scope+Rings%2C+Bases%2C+Mounting+%26+Accessories-_-DNZ+Products-_-228748&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIkLCes_vn1wIVGbXACh2LRw1YEAQYBiABEgJUsPD_BwE Or could you not just go with a Picatinny rail section for a carry handle mount then rings? Only reason I ask is because I was under the impression that the ACOG base was designed to fit into the carry handle slot of AR 15 rifles.
  10. Yes, thank you for the mention.
  11. I have a mental image of some dudes driving by screaming tallyho and big smoke plumes coming out filling the vehicle and the road.
  12. Yes, because so many drive bys happen with supressed muzzle loaders.
  13. Because we all know one day they'll get tired of seeing these "pistols" and change their ruling.
  14. I saw a guy do a similar thing with an Uzi and a Tailhook where he removed part of the stock and welded on a section to mount it. I say go for it, nowhere does it say you can't do it.
  15. It came to me as parts, but slowly it is becoming something.
  16. I think about 3/4 of the members show up once a year for the deer rifle sight in but are never seen again until the next year.
  17. Have any pictures? I'd say if they're small enough then just clamp and glue. Otherwise dowel pinning and gluing would probably be the way to go.

  19. Knoxville holster maker here.
  20. Thanks, NRA, hope you're glad that you created a monster to fight to stay relevant.
  21. Here's my half-baked thought on what is happening here. Remember, the NRA was in favor of zero tolerance gun laws and gun free zones and all that jazz after Columbine and supported the 1994 AWB. I think that they're making a play to deflect from themselves and Republican lawmakers they support when it all goes south in a couple years. What I mean by that is by asking the ATF to "review" bumpfire stocks it takes the blame off them if the ATF decides to do something with them. However they're banking on the ATF not doing anything under Republican control due to the political fallout at the time. When the government swings Democrat again though, the ATF won't have an issue going after bumpfire/similar and whatever else they arbitrarily decide they don't like because there won't be the same fallout. At this point the NRA can come in screaming about how rights are being infringed and that we need to stand and do something to protect them I.E. donate to the NRA and convince more people to join. Never mind that at some point in years past they gave the .gov the keys to do this. In other words they're creating a monster to fight so they keep making money and stay relevant. After all, they're a business, they exist to make money and that's truly what they care about.
  22. SIA is definitely the best shop in the area. Some pricing might be a bit on the high side but every other aspect is far better than anywhere else.
  23. Holster maker #2 by Gotthegoods checking in.
  24. That's sexy
