  1. Probably meant "Qatari" General. Either way, f**k them. In Qatar they can call the shots. Here they can STFU.

  2. Last time I was in Qatar I had my Maxim confiscated by their customs agents on entry and I didn't raise a fuss because it was their country, their rules. It really pisses me off when folks from other countries have the expectation we should cater to their sensibilities on our own soil. Sorry, this is America; we got beer on the shelves, bouncy boobies in public and painted skin. I wish it had been me there. I'd a told them to eff off, and added in some choice words about Momo being false prophet and Aisha being a goat banger.

  3. I have an Infidel tattoo on my forearm in Arabic. I catch shit from muslims ALL the time. And I've had some muslims that don't even know what it means and ask me...    Recently, on my way back to the Stan, I had a Delta stewardess come back 3 times throughout my 15 hour flight to be a sarcastic bitch about it and ask me all sorts of personal questions, asking if I knew what it meant. It's like come on lady. You're extremely unprofessional.    I have never been kicked out of places for it, but if/when that day comes and I'm in America, I wont be a happy camper.

  4.   I agree, they can choose who they want to serve. But we also have the right to express our opinions to help avoid these knee-jerk reactions to discriminate against people.     Instead of sending emails directly to the business, it may be more effective to write a review on third party sites that cannot be deleted by them like trip advisor or whatever ones people from FL use.

  6. ""My job is to make sure we move the country forward, and I think we can best do that if Nancy Pelosi is speaker of the House once again," Oh yes. I remember her. her legacy is: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, “But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of controversy.” Since that eventful day, the Liberal spin doctors have tried like hades to make this a common sense statemen to Americans. I call B.S. The more the public learns about the taxes, individual mandates, taxpayer-funded abortion coverage, the potential breakdown of the private health insurance market, and the fact that less people will be covered under this atrocity than now, the less jazzed UP they are about ObamaCare. Its cheaper for many people to pay the penalty than to buy the coverage. They will still not have coveragr. But politicians blithely waved away little details 4 years ago, like reading the actual bill and instead said “trust us”.....WE WANT TO HELP YOU..!!! Again, i call B.S.....

  7. GUN TEST Today I swung my front door wide open and placed my Stevens 320 right in the doorway.  I placed 6 shells beside it, and noticing that it had no legs, set it on my mom's oldwheelchair to help it get around. I then left it alone and went about my business.  While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, the neighbor boy across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked her dog down the street, and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign right in front of our house. After a a couple of hours, I checked on the gun.  It was still sitting there in the wheelchair, right where I had left it.  It hadn't rolled itself outside.  It certainly hadn't killed anyone, even with the numerous opportunities it had been presented to do so.  In fact, it hadn't even loaded itself.  Well you can imagine my surprise, with all the media hype about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people. Either the media is wrong, and it's the misuse of guns by PEOPLE that kills people, or I'm in possession of the laziest gun in the world. Alright, well I'm off to check on my spoons. I hear they're making people fat.

  13. I'd say the whole root of the problem - the reason so many folks are 'concerned' - is that the government is NOT us.  Hasn't been for quite some time.  The idea that we, the voting public, choose the government is an illusion.  Instead, we are given two (usually equally poor) candidates and lead to believe that our choice of one piss-poor candidate is any better than the other simply because he or she has an R or a D by their name.  Sadly, the reality is that neither of those candidates would have gotten so far as to be a choice without first being vetted by the real powers - the corporations and power brokers who really run the government and who couldn't care less about us, our wants or our needs.  No, the government is not 'us' and there is no fixing this at the ballot box.  We cannot vote in someone 'better' because someone 'better' will never get the backing of the major parties and the American voters don't have the cajones to vote for a candidate without that backing because they will continue to believe the BS that doing so is 'wasting their vote'.

  14. THIS IS NOT CAPITALISM. The main component that makes capitalism work is a laissez-faire policy by the feds. We do NOT have a hands-off economy from which the gov't is not meddling. The gov't is drastically throwing off the balance of the ammo market. The artificial demand you see is a DIRECT result of threats by the gov't to pass harmful laws. How can supply and demand meet at a mutually agreed upon price when there is a constant threat from Obama to trample our rights? In a true capitalist market, CTD could no afford to price their ammo this high because NOBODY would buy. There would be enough supply that ANYONE could find an alternative source. You can argue that this is temporary and they're priced like this while the market seeks balance, but only new markets need to seek balance. The ammo market is unbalanced because we don't have a reliable administration/congress in Washington. CTD is acting in a self-serving manner which is also required for capitalism to work, but it's coming from a false direction. They don't have pallets of this overpriced ammo to move. They have a very limited amount with no expectation to reliably replace it. That is the only reason they are gouging their customers. Again, artificial demand fueled by fear of gov't interference is why they are selling $60 boxes of ammo...NOT capitalism. $60 boxes of ammo are a symptom of a free society...not a free market.

  15. I just got back from my first sitting for a half sleeve tattoo based on the Crusades.  Several large Templar knights covered in blood, with a lot of knights and fighting in the background and some conspicuously middle eastern architecture in the background.   I've got two more sittings to go and it'll be complete and then sometime in the next year or two we're going to complete the sleeve with a lower arm piece that incorporates modern warfighters.   Basically the theme is "Same shit, different day".   So... yeah... I'm completely in tune with my cultural diversity and sensitivity toward the goat-screwing cave dwellers.  :D

  19. This might be a good time for us to take a deep breath and remember that what gets added to the Internet stays in the Internet....FOREVERRRRRRRRRRR   So it's not too hard to see how a prosecuter might use one's own words to show a judge or jury that a person did indeed intend to kill the deceased attacker, and in fact pre-meditated that desired outcome, not just used lethal force stop a threat to his/her life or serious bodily injury.

  20. I'm always baffled by stories like this.    The attacker was close enough for the victim to be in fear for his life. Said victim fires "several" rounds at attacker. Attacker drives away.   How is the attacker not found face down in a pool of his own blood?

  21. I'm certain that is the case here, especially since the Qatari patrons were dropping big bucks. However, I would, as a business owner, always default in favor of free speech so long as the speech isn't blatantly offensive. "Infidel" is not lewd or vulgar language. Perhaps if the other patron had a tattoo which said "Muhammed's mother s**** ***** in hell" I would agree it should be covered up. Just as I would support the free speech of one of those Qatari cavemen had they had a shirt which read "I love Momo". If a customer complained that Islam is offensive to them I'd tell them too bad. Now, if you'll excuse me I just had a great idea for a new tattoo.

  23. The reason for the 17th was that it was a common occurrence for state legislatures to be unable to come to agreement on whom to choose as Senator leaving the post vacant for extended periods of time. The 17th remedied this problem by changing the selection of Senators to direct election. The problem is that the law of unintended consequences bit the states in the ass by removing from them their voice in the federal government. This set down the fertile soil for the overtaking of the federal government by the socialists and statists in both parties that control it today. The 17th was very much like a shot to the Republic's lung with a .22. While not instantly fatal, it is a mortal wound when left untreated resulting in a slow and painful death as the nation drowns in its own lifeblood (the accumulation of money and power in places it doesn't belong).

Don't like people in your country, then do something with the assholes that decide to call for jihad and have picked up arms in the name of your Religion of Peace. Sure, We, Catholics and Christians, have used our religion and killed in the name of ours, but we live in the real world these days and not in some backassward period..    Herd Vet. 26. For a compendium of incidents in my misspent youth, I received a number of "spankings" if one wished to term them that, as did my acquaintances and friends when our actions warranted.  They were applied with such tenacity that I can never remember having that corporal punishment issued for the same offense twice, ever, as they left an indelible mark on the memory as to what was acceptable, and what was not.  I suppose the reason I lived past 10 was due to the fact that I prefered not to receive any more of them than was absolutely necessary.

  29. Millions of vets over 12 years of war.   Bring it.   If people here have never read about the Battle of Athens, I highly recommend it. A couple GI's did the right thing, and gave the people back their county from corruption after WWII. Using a single Tommy gun, 24 bolt guns and some Colt 1911's, no comms, nothing.    Image todays vets, battle proven fighters, on their own turf, with heavy fire power and top of the line equipment.    OHHHHHHHHHH, I'm calling no balls.

  32. Well, it happened again this morning.....only, I was prepared. This guy was within inches so I clinched down and went stealth.....next thing I heard was "gaaaawwwwwd daaaaaaaayyyyyuum!" Having consumed (last night) an entire baked potato the size of a small football topped with BBQ brisket from BB's BBq on top of some nacho's with beans and beef earlier, my biological weapons were steeped and ready. In a straight face I just said to the guy, "That's why you should always give people their personal space". I feel spitefully vindicated. It's gonna be a good day I think.

  37. Out of touch and out of control?  Seems an odd statement considering this bill would return Senator selction to the very method our founders intended.  I see nothing wrong with moving back toward the way our republic was set-up to operate.   And before anybody tells me that the people will do a better job of selecting Senators than the state legislature one only has to look at what we have (Corker and Alexander) to know just how baseless that argument would be.   Many here claim they want the power returned to the states that the federal government has stolen - this is a step in that direction.

  38. I am so tired of the PC bs... They could have just as easily not looked at it and walked away. Its the " I am more important that you".. BS .. If people now get offended because someone has a tattoo on his skin.. stay home .. seriously.   True, they can chose and pick who they cater to.. but you would think that an american company that is IN the USA, would have reacted differently.. I think they did not want to offend the  General and his entourage.. maybe they brought more money in.I would have told them to either ignore it or walk away... I definetly would not have asked him to cover it up. What a bunch of bull####...       And they treat their woman like shit on top of that....( just to throw that in)

  39. Thanks to an ammo tip from a TGO'er this morning. I went into Academy in Smyrna before work. Although the ammo was gone by the time I arrived, I had to go see if the gun case was empty. They'd gotten a shipment in, so I browsed. BAM! S&W M&P! I've been paying attention to the hype about these and several of my friends have them and love them. I have a .45 and a 9mm, and was actually hoping it was a 9mm since I already have ammo, but it felt so sweet in my hands. I left empty handed and went to work......and thought about it.....and talked about it.....and 2 hours later asked my GRACIOUS boss if I could take lunch early. He asked why, and upon hearing the answer, said "Go get it, but I want to see it before I leave!" HA HA Yep, I have a good boss! I prayed that it wouldn't be gone in that short time and double checked before I paid my 10 bucks for B.G. check. The guy cracked up laughing and said that he knew I'd be back. Must have been the drool pool I left on the counter. Already broke it down, cleaned it out, and drooled some more. Now to find ammo, a holster, and get it dirty again! I'm sure a lot of you have these, but I am super excited. I've only had two everyday carry pieces, a Ruger P89 and my carry piece now, Ruger P90. So it's a little different to say the least.

  43. Go for broke! Repeal the 17th Amendment. This would greatly weaken the hold that the National political parties have on Congress. Senators would have to answer to their state legislatures instead of the National parties, as was intended by the founding fathers!

  44.   Keep in mind, the people who have control of the legislators are the ones who hand out committee appointments and lucre from the Caucus PACs.  If the collective thinks that letting the triumvirate (Haslam, Harwell and Ramsey)  pick your next Senator is a good thing all you have to do is check the conservative bills that have made it to Public Chapter in the last two years...   Want to work on repealing the 17th Amendment, I am your boy, will be right in front holding a flag.   Under the original plan, the State Legislature could recall the Senators at their discretion if they failed to satisfy the State, I would be all for that!
