  1. Today we graduated as class 64 of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. I am proud to have been part of this group. I own it all to my wife, who held down the house while I attended school for a year.   I love you, Amy

  2. Hey if its paid its debt to society, is hard working and on track, I don't see what his criminal history has to do with anything. Even if your oven had been a total boy scout the hot pocket still wouldn't have been worth the wait.

  3. No. It is a hot pocket, it will be disgusting no matter how it is reheated.

  5. No, I don’t want the Feds involved in anything. They don’t have the authority to regulate carry and once they get it; they will screw it up. This is a States Rights/Law Enforcement issue and each state will have to deal with it. These people are not on our side. They are doing the ridiculous to force gun control.

  6. TGOers better stay off the grass, get a haircut this weekend and get cracking on their NCOERs. I swear if there are two NCOERs which have the same bullet comment heads will roll! Oh, and keep your hands out of your pockets!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Dang, wrong box.  I had a gf once that referred to something as her box!  It brought back memories from 1988!

  11. Killed back in January in Wyoming with a bolt action .223 Pretty much ends the debate in my mind as to whether .223 can be used on hogs.

  12. There once was a deputy called Fife, Who carried a gun and a knife. The gun was all dusty, And his knife was all rusty, Because he never caught a crook in his life.   Watching one of the Andy Griffith shows, either its been too long, or I have a case of amnesia!  It just hit me funny!  I needed a good laugh!  You can hear it at 1:50:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pyney6Qik7I

  13.    Agreed with Enfield, and for what its worth, I'm not a hunter at all of any kind. The thing that most people don't seem to think about in regards to trophy hunting is that the object is to go for trophy animals. Trophy animal is another way of saying old animal. When animals get old it means two things; 1. They have done their job. They have contributed to the gene pool, helped balance the population of their prey/food, and are in their last years. 2. Old animals die. In nature death is ugly, typically brought on by infection, starvation, or "removal" via younger/aggressive/mating members of the population. One thing is guaranteed, it's not going to be pleasant or pretty. Most likely much more unpleasant than being harvested. I used to have a dislike for the idea of trophy hunting, then I talked to some trophy hunters and read a book on trophy deer, it opened my eyes.

  20. I use a microwave for most things, but not pizza rolls.  I bought a toaster oven just for those.  The difference is amazing and worth the extra 10 minutes or so.

  21. Look at it like this, its wise to have a diverse savings portfolio. Cash and stocks are fluid, gold and silver are just fairly useless metals and art is too fickle. Keep buying the quality gun you have been and take care of them, they'll hold their value fairly securely.

  23. Not worth it. I use the microwave for most about everything pre made and frozen. Oven is only marginally better overall and not worth the wait. If I want a higher quality meal it won't have cost $2.50 and come from the Walmart freezer. The only exception is "full" sized pizza like tombstone or digorno, and anything breaded or meant to be fried.

Sorry Nick but I grew up calling the Chinese and Japanese orientals and their elders will still tell you they are from  the Orient and not from Asia because neither one of them want to be connected to Koreans or TAI countries like Cambodia Vietnam or Thailand. and they still eat cat but cannot serve it in their restaurants and quit hitting me or I will get out my............... :taser:

  27.   If it is open to anyone outside my home, then it is public.  Just because they need to have a comcast account doesn't mean diddly squat; and even if Joe Bob is logged in with their account, it still originates on YOUR network and you're responsible for it. Authentication mechanisms do not eliminate liability.    It's a complex issue; even though you *could* be considered a service provider (or use that as a defense) because of your network being shared out, that does not remove the impact that an initial investigation would have if for example someone was downloading child porn on your network.  Just going through that stuff, even if 100% innocent would be devastating.  To contrast that, before the RIAA stopped doing mass lawsuits for copyright infringement, people were held liable, by a court, for damages from other people using their network to download or share files.   So in short, the tin foil hat thing has more weight behind it than you think.

  28. They are predators, with no enemy to combat them except us any more. I don't like killing anything that I won't eat either, however predators are different. If the wolf population was where it would need to be to keep the balance that would be one thing but it's not. I lived in California for 4 years and there were frequent cat attacks on joggers. Once I was in the forest and came across some fresh tracks and heard the cat close by, think he was looking for a cheesesteak? Me neither. It is what it is and we have to do what we have to do.

  30. Is no one researching this, or even reading the posts before posting their tin foil panic prone opinions?   It isn't 'open to anyone,' you still have to be a Comcast customer to use it, you have to log in with your Comcast credentials to access the internet. Anyone with a WiFi card can find a signal, whether it is encrypted or not, having a 'public' signal doesn't advertise your private WiFi, having WiFi period advertises you WiFi.

  31. A Carfax report can't hurt, but I wouldn't put much faith in the information supplied. I've seen and read countless stories about how often accidents, major repairs, etc. are NOT listed on the Carfax report. It's always best to go over the vehicle thoroughly, or have an expert do so for you.

  33. By the way the IP for bootsgal and MunireUSA are not even close. Matter of fact they are not even in the same state.   Seems like a lot of work for an employee to do to try to hide their affiliation.   Everyone needs to loosen the tin foil up a bit.

  38. Sadly I don't think these are anti gunners. They are the same kind of bafoon that thinks they're helping the medical marijuana movement by dressing in their finest stained tye-dye and doing bong loads at the state capital and blasting Phish out of their weak ass Prius sound systems. These kind of idjits exist on both the right and left it seems.

  40. Sounds depressing.  Be sure to meet up with some ppl to try out anything you can't do over there.   Get some trigger time on a pistol or modern rifle, perhaps, if you are interested.   TN is a decent state and most things can be found to play with if you ask around.   Ive had a lot of fun with the VW folks,  showing them a few from my collection.

  47. This is just my personal opinion, and it is born from a lack of experience with being shot with or without any level of body armor... but I would vastly prefer to be lighter on my feet in a fight than hope they only hit me square in the chest and nowhere else. If I was going to carry armor that I was confident in, it would be so heavy it would need wheels (or tracks)

  48. I think if 2013 taught us anything, "ammo". Probably one person in 10,000 has enough for personal use, let alone for trading.   Some gold is probably not a bad idea but I agree silver is probably more useful. Alcohol is good. A few high-end ones might be a good idea too.
