That sort of misinformation comes from someone who knows they don't have the answer, but their manhood would feel threatened if they dared to admit they don't know everything.4 points

For my money, I think it was Abraham that Negan whacked. Earlier in the episode he was talking to Sasha about maybe having kids. In this show, making plans for the future is a sure sign something bad is going to happen to ya. :stick: OTOH, could be that the producers are waiting for contract negotiations for next season. Whoever puts up the biggest fuss or wants the most money will likely be the victim.4 points

The two guys with the horses probably come from the Kingdom, one of the other settlements Jesus mentioned. He didn't mention it by name, but that is the name in the comics.3 points

The wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the episode. I love how they showed Rick all cocky and feeling tough early. He'd just whooped some Saviour a$$, got out unscathed, and showed them who was boss. He drove away from the first roadblock feeling all magnanimous, like he'd just spared their lives. Each subsequent roadblock he felt more scared, less in control, and more blocked in. They abandoned the RV STILL thinking they'd out-smarted Negan only to find out they'd been played the whole time and had been herded like sheep straight to the wolves. When he was captured by the Terminus cannibals, he was all righteous and tough, but he's finally met a vastly superior foe. Rick was broken by the end and helpless.3 points

I had a Uncle Pass recently and he left me this Case Knife. I know there are hundreds of variants on each type when it comes to Case. after some research it looks like it's 1960's time frame or earlier and it looks like someone has customized it for sure2 points

After looking at the recent posts of BRD, or black rifle disease I had a realization. I have a much older, but equally debilitating one, Wheel Gun Disease or WGD. Although I have owned many Smiths I am partial to Rugers. I love looking at the AR pics you guys have, but I wouldn't get rid of my revolvers for one. I have included pics of my Ruger Wheel Guns, or Sears Catalog edition of Gun Porn. Hope you enjoy.2 points

when that movie came out the street I lived on was being rebuilt. There was a worker we saw all summer. He was given the nickname Mongo by us kids. He'd walk down the road carrying a shovel or mattock or something and we'd all yell "Hey Mongo". Have not thought of that for years and years. To me that alone made this thread worthwhile. Good times!2 points

Mongo love Sheriff Bart. Uh-oh, Bart. I think Mongo here's taken a liking to you. uhn uhn, naw, Mongo straight. Mongo just a pawn in game of life.2 points

Pull the trigger on the purchase. You won't regret it. It handles great and shoots like a larger gun. There's a reason it's so popular in that size weapon. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk2 points

The derp is strong in this thread. If a Muslim can't be a good American, someone really should let the ones who have volunteered for military service know, plus the firefighters, EMS, police etc. Imagine being quiet and content with serving your country or community only to realize you're inadequate due to religious beliefs. Boy will there be egg on their faces  As an aside, I doubt highly that ISIS will have to continue recruiting any moderates in the next few years, with the mentality some of you have, you'll do a perfectly good job turning a moderate into a radical all on your own. I wonder if ISIS is banking on that with their message of fear and terror..... Nah, stupid idiots.2 points

This might be one of the best pieces of gun misinformation that I have ever heard. Where do people come up with this stuff?2 points

Put on a good headlamp at night or hold another light up by your ear inline with your eyes. Look for their eyes to reflect the light back at you. Follow all those to their source and you'll find every spider and scorpion on your property. Depending on your feelings towards insects, you'll either be fascinated or will burn the place down. All three of my kids love to go spider spotting. I could send my youngest down in the crawl space right now with a light and tell him to smash everything that moves. DCS might question my parenting, but he would both the thrilled and occupied for hours.2 points

The Ithaca may not be beyond repair. I might just go from a nice collectible to a nice shooter. If you are not interested in the PPK, or if you want to resell it to me, I might be interested. I have always wanted to do a silenced PPK like my buddy Bond, James Bond, uses.2 points

Yes. I think it was Kirkman who said that no cast member knows who got the bat. Reading thru blogs and opinions, not too many are happy with the finale or the episodes leading up to it. There was one I read that brought up some things to ponder.... at the beginning, the saviors were beating a guy from "The Library" but he said everyone there was dead. Have the comics mentioned anything about it? Also the 2 guys in body armor that appear willing to help Carol. Never said where they're from. Obviously not the hilltop. IMHO, the bashing of this episode will cease next weekend when Fear The Walking Dead returns and the haters focus on that. :popcorn:2 points

I'll cut extra stuff to dull my knives in the meantime :D Seriously though, any thoughts on how the logistics of this service will work? I'm just around the corner from you in La Vergne, so sharpening by appointment while I wait would be cool.2 points

Well, the article said the last four years brought in over $100k so, at least $25k for the knife. It is a true work of art. If I were rich, I would have stuff like this hanging on my walls instead of some French oil painting.1 point

Yesterday I had the chance to warm up my .204 barrel. BHW recommends a 60 round break in procedure which involves running a patch down the bore after every 5 shots for a total of 60 rounds. After the 60 round break in, I loaded 5 rounds of Fiocchi Extrema 32 grain V-Max factory ammo in a mag and got the vise out. The pictures speak for themselves. In defense of the barrel, shot #1 was cold barreled and on shot #5 I knew I'd pulled it when the gun went bang (shooters error). All-n-all Im extremely pleased with how the gun turned out. Not only do I have one sexy @ss .204 Ruger, that thing can put your eye out kid.. (Shots taken from 100 yards with 10-15 mph varying crosswinds)1 point

If you have a control number AND it has a "date submitted" then it is being processed. Sometimes on form 1's you can submit and it can take 3-4 days for it to populate the "date submitted" column. But generally during that time they send an email letting you know it is "pending research" while they verify documents. This is generally for items that were not previously serial numbered like form 1 silencers or home built guns from like an 80% lower. And anytime you need to contact them you need to include the control number because that is what they mainly use. In the past they would not take any action on mine unless I gave them the control number.1 point

You all need to check out Dave McIntyre's series called The Fall! I'm on book 2 and it's really great. Also you can see Dave on The History Channel's Alone Season 2. He is one of the contestants.1 point

Didn't get to hunt Saturday due to being out of town Friday night. However, got out this morning and while things didn't go exactly as planned, I got a bird in the fridge. We set up blindly, but near a know roost area. When they fired up, they were on every side of us and I know I heard 10 different gobblers. They henned up quickly, but we kept working them. Around 7:15 two long beards walked in to our set up. I took careful aim and shot the lead bird at about 30 yards. 3.5" #4's knocked him off his feet, but I hit him low. He got up and ran off, me emptying the gun at him. We searched the woods and briar patches, but didn't find him. I was down on myself and questioning my sights, shells, choke choices. Guess I pulled low on the shot, but still felt it was enough lead and close enough it should have kept him down. My partner left to go to church and I stayed to look some more. While walking the woods, rustling the leaves caused another bird to fire up. I eased to the field edge and called in a flock. Shot this one at 20 yards and didn't pull the shot low. I hate losing wounded game. "So he cocked both his pistols, spit in the dirt, and walked out in to the street."1 point

I tell ya, I'm getting really sick of the stupidity on this show. This was the stupidest episode of the walking dead since I started watching it. An hour and a half. They could have accomplished the whole episode in ten minutes.1 point
