  1. Gonna regret this but haven't been able to pick up another hog lease. Glock 20 Gen 4 in 10mm. 2-15 round mags. Slide milled by Roy's Gunworks and now wearing a Vortex Venom 6mm dot that is sighted in at 50 yards. RH Kenai chest holster. 225 Sellior& Bellot 180gr jhp. 25 Hornady XTP. 26 Winchester FP. Muzzle brake, aftermarket threaded barrel and a 3.5lb Ghost trigger. I have most of the original parts.$900. Possible trades but not sure what I need South Knox. Possibly varmint caliber rifles, 22-250,243,6mm, to 257 and 25- 06

  3. Selling a custom .40 caliber Beretta 96 Brigadier, refinished to look like the Samurai Edge from Resident Evil 2. Priced at $750 (reduction from $900) Low round count, under 400. This has a rarer reinforced Brigadier slide, now more commonly seen on their competition pistols. The additional strength is a perfect accompaniment for increased .40 caliber pressures. Single/Double action. Great condition. Mild marring on the barrel finish exterior where it connects the slide. This is inevitable. While nearly imperceptible, for the sake of honesty, the backstrap is missing small amount of material, made further unnoticeable with polishing. Several parts have been upgraded. * LPA adjustable marksman sights * Skeltonized hammer * Steel trigger * Steel extended magazine release * Steel guide rod * D-spring * Wolff trigger spring * OEM Deluxe Grade 3 Walnut Presentation Grips * CCR Refinishing job: Cera-hide slide, barrel, guide rod, parts, OEM inox lower and parts. * 5 magazines, 2 have been refinished with CCR cera-hide * Leather and sheepskin pistol rug The additional components alone are valued at around $590. An additional benefit, because this is a .40 96, it can be converted to a 9mm with little effort. Likely a barrel drop in, but might have to change the extractor or ejector. I don't believe a 92 can be converted to 96.

  4. Honestly, I’d rather just continue on as is at this point. My guess is that they likely won’t react favorably and take signs down. They’d probably be more likely to add metal detectors if that’s what is required to comply. It’s a great zoo and my boy loves to go. Memberships are cheap and concealed is concealed. Totally get where you are coming from but I’ve lost faith in many of those in positions of decision making and power.

  6. I recently started using a service called Tailscale to provide a VPN connection back into my house. You can enable a setting called an Exit Node, and then when you make the VPN connection, you can choose to use the exit node. The exit node passes the traffic back into your house and then back out to the internet from the PC inside your home. To the world, it looks like you are browsing from your home PC. All of this enables encryption from your phone back to your home network, so if you connect to a sketchy WiFi, they can't snoop on your traffic. Walmart would have no idea what site you are browsing. It sounds complicated, but it really wasn't. I enabled it all in like 15 minutes, and it was so easy I was like "That's it??" The service is free for X number of devices. I forget how many, but it was more devices than I own, and I'm nerdy.

  8. Do you already compete? If not, my recommendation is to not buy guns starting out. As long as the Sig doesnt go off in your holster* it should be fine. Go shoot some matches and see what you actually need. I shot 3 Gun for 3 years with my 870 because I already had one and the time on the pump wasnt making enough difference to matter. Once I starting getting in the Top 3 in my division I finally upgraded to a semiauto. That year I won my division for the Season at TSF in Jackson. Another big factor is what level you plan to shoot 3 Gun. If its just local matches theres really no reason to buy extra pistols if you have some that already suffice. I did wind up buying a Glock 34 for competition after a while, mostly due to the ammo costs of competing with a .45. I would recommend buying a couple shell caddies to start off with, so you can dryfire. I really liked the EZ-8 as my first one due to price (it was like ~$40) and Invictus Practical (although I heard they went out of business)

  9. I have watched Dans podcast for several years-and have decided on one thing- He is definitely not full of crap like so many- He calls it like it is and doesn't put any lipstick on the pig- I think that there are a lot of Politicians that should be very nervous about now-

  12. I'm surprised, as I assume that Bongino makes a whole helluva lot more money as a broadcaster than he will as Dep Director. Maybe that means he truly wants to make a positive contribution. The way these things should work is that talented people give up some of their time to serve, then return to their business after a period or government service.

  14. Downsizing & streamlining things so this one's up for sale. Bought it new years back. Haven't shot it much at all. Tiny bit of holster wear on both the grip & manual safeties. Otherwise in pristine shape. These are some of my favorite 1911's & as far as I know they are no longer producing this 5" railed model in black. I have 4-5 Chip McCormick magazines & 1 Wilson Combat 10-rounder. $1350

  15. Like I said in my intro, one of things I collect are .32ACP pocket guns. I decided to pull out a few of my more interesting examples Top left is a Frommer Stop in 7,65. This is one of the strangest pocket guns out there. The recoil spring sits on top, which is pretty uncommon. However, the oddest thing about this pistol is that uses a rotating bolt, similar to what you'd find in an AK. There was even a machine pistol version of it. Two pistols, upside down, each with 25 round magazines, are mounted in a little tripod. I assume the Hungarians had worries that the rabbits would rise up against them Top right is a French "Unique" pistol. This one features an acceptance stamp showing that it was in use with the Moroccan police Bottom right is a German Dreyse M1907. The Dreyse was fairly innovative for its day in that it's striker fired and the firing pin protruded out of the back so you could see/feel if it was cocked Bottom left is the venerable Colt M1903 pocket hammerless. As far as vest guns go, none are more classy. I actually carry mine from time to time. Makes you feel like an old tyme detective searching gin-joints for a dangerous dame with gams that don't quit In the center is a CZ 27. This one features several Waffenampt markings indicating that it was accepted into service with the German military in WWII. The fact that it is blued rather than parkerized would indicate that this was produced just before or early into the German occupation of Prague. This one is magnificent. The bluing is still deep and rich and the trigger even retains its factory straw bluing. Whoever it was issued to clearly didn't do much with it. Honorable mention: Maxine. Like all cats she feels the need to make an appearance when the guns come out Hope you folks enjoy the post.

Now that Republicans have control of all three branches, it would be the best time to push for this to pass. @Worriedman, is TFA and or GOA in any discussions to get this pushed through before we lose steam in this new administration? 31. Here for sale is a 1960s Manurhin P-1 chambered in 9mm (French made Walther P-1). The firearm is in good condition with a very smooth action and comes with a vintage German holster and two original magazines. The recoil springs have been replaced with brand new Wolff factory replacements. I am most interested in a trade for a Walther PP or other small, vintage, .32 caliber pocket pistols (I can add cash to the deal if needed). I’m located in East Nashville and you can contact me by text as well at (615)925-9979. Please feel free to reach out with any questions and thanks for looking.

  36. Carry one everyday , my favorite CCW . I use shield mags . Leather holster on leather belt . I probally am about as rough on a CCW as it gets . My gun has been dropped several times , still no issues . Not a fan of the MOS reflex sight , I took it off . In my environment it gets dirty very quick . So I just use open sights

  38. @Alleycat72 makes a good point. For easy cleaning, any can used for .22 should have titanium or stainless baffles that can be cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner as aluminum will pit in a US cleaner. My Banish 30, a .30 multi-cal can, has Ti tube and baffles that can be US cleaned, so even though it can be used for centerfire it’s not a non-rimfire suppressor.

  39. It depends on your budget. I started off wanting one .30 cal. Now a suppressor gets budgeted for each rifle build. A dedicated can for that cal will always be quieter assuming equal quality suppressors. Other things come into play when you are considering a suppressor. What's the intended purpose. Things like size, weight, and flash signature. You may want titanium or stainless steel depending on your needs. Multi cal suppressors tend to be one of those things that do everything, but don't excell at any one thing.

  41. READ —— If you’re looking for a gun safe do your due diligence. Take the time to research the different manufacturers. Look at fire rating, can it be secured to the foundation, plan for what you have now and future additions. If you have say 7 firearms look at least double the size, you’ll thank yourself later. Look at safes with interior hinges and cannot be pried open with a pry bar.

  42. I picked this poor thing up a couple of months ago. Hy Hunter Frontier Six Shooter in .22LR. According to the internet, these were actually made by J.P. Sauer & Sohn in West Germany and imported during the 1960s under the Hy Hunter name in Hollywood. CA. This poor thing was a mess when I got it. The barrel was loose, the firing pin was about to fall out and there was an occasional hitch in the action. Plus the grips were completely wrong for this gun. I really don't know how they managed to stay on. And on top of all that, the finish was very badly worn. But it seemed to have good bones and I only gave $30 for it. This is what I started with: The mechanical issues were fairly easy to fix. I found a set of close grips on the internet, but had to fit them some. The problem was in the finish. As near as I could tell, most of this gun is made of Zamak or a similar alloy. So finish options were limited. I decided to go with Brownell's Alumahyde II. Its a spray on, paint like, finish made specifically for alloy guns. I took the gun completely apart, sanded the parts and sprayed the individual pieces. The instructions said it dries to the touch in 1-2 hours, BUT needs 1-2 weeks to cure completely. Of course I tried to rush it and messed up a piece. I re-did that one and then gave the finish the full two weeks to cure completely. Got it all back together and I think it came out pretty good. I took it to the range today. I fired a little over 100 rounds of 7 different types of ammo. It ain't no tack driver, but its minute of tin can with ammo it likes. Not too shabby for a decrepit old man and those tiny fixed sights. All told, I have right at $80 in it. I think it was worth it.

  43. I have 4 safes. Cannon Fat Boy, 2 TreadWells that are no longer in production, and my last safe was a Browning Medallion 65T. They each serve the purpose for what I have in them. I purchased the Browning from Knoxville Safe House in Alcoa TN. They were great to work with answering all of my questions. Fire ratings, water ratings, etc are all over the place so you need to discuss what you will be keeping in the safe. It ultimately comes down to budget and getting the best safe for your needs within that budget. When I built out my gun room I made that room as fire and waterproof as feasable because I have a lot of guns displayed on the walls. Unfortunately, there is nothing that will protect at 100%. Parker's Safes is a vendor on the Forum and I have heard nothing but good things about them.

  44. I never got around to sharing my TGO build. This was my very first AR15 from the old group buy. I just swapped the cheap yet sturdy UTG quad rail for a CMT HDM rail. To be honest I didn't hate the UTG Pro rail, but I felt like the rifle deserved better. It's a TGO CMT upper and lower set, 16" barrel with a Silencerco ASR flash hider, Magpul MOE furniture, AIM surplus BCG, sporting a Vortex 1x6. -southernasylum
