  3. Picked this up yesterday. These are scarce as hen's teeth. Very difficult to find and even harder to find in excellent condition at a decent price. I got lucky! Sig Sauer P220 in 38 Super.

  4. This is my first 1911 I bought about 17 years ago, had many rounds through it over the years and the finish was looking pretty bad. Decided to tighten up the frame to slide fit and experiment with laser engraving before refinishing it with parkerizing, figured it was already in bad shape so I couldn't mess it up too much more.

  9. The Ruger RXM is basically a Glock. If you don't like Glocks, you're probably not going to like the RXM. The M&P M2.0 with the new flat-faced trigger feels pretty good. At this point in my life and my journey as a student of the gun with nearly 40-years of near constant shooting under my trigger finger, I will say that I really don't think trigger feel matters as much as anyone says it does outside of dry-firing. So long as the trigger isn't absurdly heavy or doesn't have massive pre-travel or over-travel, everything else is just what it is. What people should care most about are reliability, fit to their hand, and ergonomic comfort.

  10. New to TGO! I am looking for a new home for my super clean 1980 (102-80xxx) Ruger Model 44 Carbine SA with 4 + 1 capacity, 18.5 inch barrel, and Bushnell 3x9 scope with protective caps. Bore is clean and the rifling is strong. Ejection port, action, bluing, walnut stock forearm are all in excellent condition. Check the pictures to see the small amount of wear on the loading trapdoor. The original folding leaf rear sight and sling mounts are all intact. This is a great hunter and shooter. Looking for someone who appreciates the older, well made Rugers and understands their value. $1,100 Prefer to meet in Jackson, TN, but will travel up to 1 hour within TN. Cash only if meeting. Can discuss shipping and payment in PMs. A sale to anyone outside of TN will be shipped to an FFL of your choice. I will require a copy of the FFL. Buyer will pay actual shipping and insurance coverage costs. No handling fees.

  16. Well, I had to do a lot of soul searching before finally deciding to list this because I know I’ll never be able to get another one. Here is my Remington 40x .22LR target rifle. It is in excellent condition for a 69 year old rifle. If I’m correct it was manufactured April of 1956. The stock does have a number of bumps and bruises on it but overall it is in great condition. I have the correct Redfield Palma sights for it but it currently is wearing a Leupold VX3 6.5-20 EFR scope with plex reticle. Bluing is above average for a gun this age. If you want extra pictures PM me and I can send them to you. Price $XXXX No trades please. Cash only to TN CCW holder. Meet in Franklin / Brentwood area.

  19. 1 Cor 15:12 Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised; 14 and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain. 15 Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; 17 and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied. The Order of Resurrection 20 ¶ But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.

  20. Gen 2.5 or 3, however you look at it. It's the Gen2 bolt release and the one piece 7-round tube. Langdon model with magpul furniture. Optic mount is the aimpoint micro footprint but irons still cowitness with the optic on. Added the cable management/heatshield from Langdon. Super nice shotgun but I've never shot it. I always say I will but I never do. So it needs a new home. More pictures among request. Immaculate condition. Asking $1500. Will entertain a partial trade of a Glock 34 Gen5.

  21. The safe clean out continues.. so up for your consideration is a Remington 870 that was modified by Scattergun Technologies. This 870 Wingmaster was sent to them in the late 90s, when they were located in Nashville, before being acquired by Wilson Combat. Some modifications include having the barrel cut to 18.5”, chamber cut for 3” shells, action work, refinishing, enlarged safety, mag tube extension, and ghost ring tritium sights. For those that may ask, the serial number has a "T" prefix which dates it 1974-1977 and "LO" on the barrel should be a production date of February 1977. $700 - Located in Gallatin / Sumner County - TNDL or HCP flash I am looking for a Glock 17 Gen5 with front serrations and would love to make a trade deal. Preferably one like new in the box with a black frame. MOS or standard is just fine. Sorry no other models at this time. Thanks!

  23. Every shooting is its own unique story. Nobody can predict how a person will react and there are many failure to stop horror stories. But, you never know what will happen until it actually does happen. I happen to like the 380. Then again, depending on the circumstances, I have carried .32s, .25s and even .22s. Its the Indian, not the arrow. Yes, they do make 9mms now that are as small as a 380. But I already have enough guns in both 9mm and 380. I see no reason to buy another that I don't really need. Further I have shot a couple of the small 9mms. I didn't like them and had trouble hitting with them. However, I can shoot a small 380 quite well. Another thing is that sometimes its more about the gun than the caliber. I happen to be very fond of the Walther PP series pistols. I have carried one of these in 380 and also in .32 acp. I've never felt under gunned because I shoot them quite well. My favorite 380 is the Colt Mustang. Small, easy to carry and its locked breech design makes recoil very manageable. I feel very well protected with it. Sure, some calibers are better than others. But caliber wars prove nothing. Few would recommend carrying a .22LR. Yet some people do and the lowly .22 has put a whole lot of people in the ground. Carry what you're comfortable with and the Hell with what anybody else says.

  27. SALE PENDING: Sig Sauer RXP X-Cary with Romeo-1 Pro Optic and Extras Alright, here goes... If you believe that these guns are really going off on their own, then this would seem like it's not the right time to try to sell one of them. On the other hand if you are like me then you realize that if there was really a problem with these guns then they would be going off on their own while sitting in gun safes, nightstands, and lock boxes. Rather, you realize that the average person will almost always blame something other than their own incompetence or error if they are given the chance to do so. If that's the way you think, then this is going to be right up your alley. The Gun: I am the one and only owner of this P320 X-Carry since I bought it new in 2022. I have put maybe 2,000 rounds through it and have carried it many, many times, concealed and in an OWB duty rig in classes, with nary a problem. I ran a Holosun 509T enclosed optic on it during that time, so the Romeo-1 is brand new and has never been used or carried. The gun runs flawlessly. It is incredibly accurate and has been entirely reliable. It has never shot me or anyone else, intentionally or otherwise. The reason I am selling it is because I have my eyes set on a new handgun and need to raise a couple grand in order to make it happen. I'm selling several things to make that possible. Package Includes: Sig P320 X-Carry Romeo-1 Pro Optic (has steel protective shroud) Factory Sig P320 X-Carry grip module Wilson Combat X-Carry grip module (not shown) Two (2) 17-round factory Sig magazines Four (4) additional 17-round factory Sig magazines $800.00 for the above listed package Terms of Sale: Cash Sale. No trades. In-Person transaction in a very public spot in Spring Hill or Franklin areas (middle Tennessee) Established members greatly preferred. Benefactors even better. More Photos: The gun is exactly as is. I am also including a photo of the gun with the Brouwer Solutions M1811 grip module. Again, the M1811 grip is an optional extra but I would highly recommend it as it changes the feel of the gun entirely and makes it feel like a 2011 in the hand. Brouwer Solutions M1811 Grip Module installed...

  30. My little buddy Jamie James. Bichon Frize. I noticed that he sleeps in one particular place on the couch in the living room. I went over one morning to pet him and I noticed that from his sleeping spot he could see the driveway, the road, the back door, the front door and the hallway, all from this one spot. At night, I can tell if he growls, whether it's a dog or a person.

  31. I have been looking for this thread and finally found it. I wanted to post a picture of my Rosie. She has been beside me for the last 9 years as I rescued her from the needle when she was scheduled to be put down by a breeder because she was to old to breed at age 6. My daughter told me about her and I told her to speak up and tell the breeder that her father wanted her and she brought her home with her for me.
