It isn't about wishing for it to happen, this is about it being a very likely outcome as he chooses to ratchet it up. You think he will stop at body armor, rifle and yelling like a madman??? He will take this further, causing someone to have REASONABLE fear for their lives or the lives if others and he will be shot. He does not exist in a vacuum. Believe it or not, people with guns have watched the news, and active shooter events happen. How many threads are on this very damn site regarding how one would act to an active shooter? You think nobody will take him as one when he takes it to the next level? I do, and the shooter all absolutely be justified for shooting him according to the law.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'd be predisposed to return a no-bill on that indictment if I was on the grand jury, not that I think it would ever make it to a grand jury. Because of his history, I would expect LE agencies in the area to familiarize their officers with him, but I wouldn't expect the average person to have any idea who this fucknut is. While I really do hate what he is doing, I don't wish harm to come to him. I just expect it to happen eventually. My prior "defense" of him had nothing to do with him or his actions and everything to do with the blatant malfeasance of the government in handling his shenanigans. However, the two million or so HCP holders haven't, and when he decides to start slinging his rifle on the front and yelling obscenities in a threatening manner, someone is going to mistake him for an active shooter. Like i said, I'm not taking sides and I'm definitely not defending him. I think what he's doing and how he's going about it is stupid at this point.

But we all need to be better and should not hope or wish for harm on anyone. That's all I'm saying.

Just a couple of recent posts from where I was seeing the "wishing harm" was posts like this:

I said we should hope for the best outcome to all this and I got this in response:

That implies he crawl in a hole and shoot himself.... or masturbate, but I think we're all smart enough to know which was meant.

and this in response to someone mistaking him for an active shooter:

Let's not be this way folks.

It goes back to my post. We need to hope for the best possible outcome, which is, he stops doing this and goes on with his life. Because if it turns in to something, it won't go well for him or our rights. The media will crucify all gun owners and that will hurt public opinion of the law abiding non-activist gun owners as well.

Again, I'm not taking sides or defending him at all.

He won't stop... ever. Been doing it for years. Piss on Lenny.

Yep a perfect example of that is "hey, let me build an AK pistol, then paint it to look like a toy, then strap it to my chest and let's go open carry in a park and walk around until I find cops recording everything"

That's completely different than redneck Joe having a pistol on his belt while he goes out for some coffee at the gas station.  Now if Joe strapped on body armor, turned on a video camera and walked in circles suspiciously around a courthouse until he was stopped by the police, then started spouting off his rights and ended the conversation with a "F*** you!" to the cops, then Joe would be in the same category as Voldemort.

Just remember that DA's can and do get convictions of bad people getting killed... Some guy walking about with a rifle on his back, let alone with the rifle in a case (no matter how stupid the case looks) is not a threat to any reasonable person.

As strange as he acts... as annoying as he is... as questionable as his motives are...  he never acts in a threatening manner...

Remember, it's not a question of if you are in fear for your life... but a question about if a reasonable person would have been in fear of their life...  and what reasonable person could ever be afraid of a guy walking around with a rifle slung across his back.

As much as nobody likes to admit, he's very careful...  I don't see him taking this to the next level in a way that opens himself up to arrest... or at least not serious arrest...  it's clear if a DA wanted to pick on him, they could hit him with jaywalking, or disorderly conducted.....  but anything more the a minor charge...  I don't really see that happening...  each time he learns from the situation and refines his operation.

IMHO the fact he is now handing out leaflets is a critical change...  He's not fishing for 2nd Amendment/4th Amendment violations anymore...  he's hoping for a 1st Amendment violation of prior restraint...  which traditionally are a lot easier to win.

The best thing law enforcement could do with Voldrmort...  is completely ignore him...  Don't detain him...  don't search him... just let him wander around handing out his flyers...  IMHO he just wants the attention, take the attention away and he'll find something else to focus on - hopefully having to do with school bus drivers violating the law and not firearms :)

And no, they won't. When he causes someone to reasonably fear for their lives or the lives of others, he has met shoot criteria. Not everyone with a permit is here on this site and familiar with Voldemort's antics. He will take this to the next level, because that's what he does, and he will be shot for it. He might not meet criteria now, especially with law enforcement right there, but if he becomes more bold without the context of LEO escort, I think there is a high probability that he will present himself as a threat to a REASONABLE person. That is the part I'm talking about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

With his track record of playing games...  exactly what do you think he's going to do that would be legal, yet still give rise to a justified shooting?

The guy is coo coo for coca puffs...  but he tries really hard not to break the law...  I just don't see it happening...

I'm somewhat surprised he hasn't moved onto testing 39-17-1308a4 the incident to 'other lawful activity' defense...  I think he can carry ammo for the rifle and pistol on his person if he's walking to the shooting range...  but there is virtually no case law to be found on that defense... so any attempt would be risky...

best case, ignore him, don't give him the attention he craves... and he'll go away.

Who knows how this will end. Lenny continues to violate probably the biggest rule of common sense. I doesn't pay to piss people off. Doesn't matter if he doesn't violate the letter of the law. First, he lost his carry permit. Then, he lost his job and his house. And guess what... he has no real recourse. So while he is coming up with ways to one-up the "pigs", THEY are WINNING. They have had time to think, and write a little strategy of their own. These days, when they one-up him, it stings a little more. He may think he's a genius. Hell, a few on here may think he's a genius. Those folks need to tally the score. Lenny's losses to date were not accidents.

Reminds me of the true story of when the people of the town killed the town bullies in broad daylight. Nobody saw anything, and nobody was prosecuted. In that case, two "law abiding" folks met their end in one of the biggest crimes on the books. My take-away... I doesn't pay to piss people off. He CAN'T win.

It's not hard for me to ignore him. But for someone who has no knowledge of this guy, who sees him walk into a business presenting all the signs of an active shooter will end badly. No way around that. I think his recent court case as emboldened him to try to see what he can do to bait law enforcement further without breaking the law. Like I said in an earlier post, strapping road flares to your chest and yelling Allah Akbar is not illegal, per se, but it could very well get you shot. Someone like Lenny would argue that he is just a proud recent convert to Islam and a road flare enthusiast. I mean, this guy walked around with an AK with the barrel tip painted orange. For crying out loud, you don't think he'll do something that a REASONABLE person might interpret as a real threat??? Seriously??? C'mon, you can't possibly believe that if you spend even a moment in critical thought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This guy seems to be stepping up his campaign:

Here he was yesterday prancing around in front of Hillsboro High School.  I know he lost his job.  I wonder if he's still married?  His decision making paradigm is increasingly looking like that of someone who has nothing to lose.

I get where you are coming from: however, Lenny is playing stupid games. When you play stupid games you should expect to win stupid prizes, and in cases like this there's nothing wrong with rooting for him to win said prizes. I would love nothing more than for him to pull his head out of his ass because his conduct is hurting our cause, but this is an unrealistic expectation in his case. I see him as nothing more than a thief that's trying to steal using the courts to do so. If he gets dead because of his own actions then I'll not shed one tear over it.

This is nothing but an attempt at intimidation. I want to beat the crap out of this guy. What an f'ing coward to try and scare school kids and parents.

I take back what I said earlier. I hope this idiot gets killed. He does not deserve to live. He exists only to terrorize innocent people. When he gets shot I'm going to his grave and taking a dump on it.

Yes Officer this is an AR-15 in a case on my back. Yes sir, I'm also carrying a backpack full of loaded PMAG's. No Sir, 'fficer, you see I am just walking to the range. It's a nice day outside, and instead of driving to the range I thought I would would walk. What? The range is 45 miles from my house? When I pulled it up on Google Maps when I was plotting, I mean, Officer, walking to the range it told me it was only 43.9 miles.

No, I do. I just don't agree with your principles I guess.

My principles? You have no idea what those are.

I absolutely believe in this douchebag's right to be armed as well as his right to free speech. There is no law against him walking with an unloaded rifle and body armor only feet from a school full of children.

There's also no law against dressing up in a barely there speedo, a light coat of oil and a sign that says "Free Candy", and hang out right in front of an elementary school. I believe that the first amendment guarantees that. But if it's the school I drop my kid off at, I'm gonna bounce that dudes head off the pavement while I wait for the cops to get there.

I believe that any man has the right to speak freely, to the point that I believe the 1st amendment protects the speech of any man to call my wife vulgar names. Doesn't mean I won't knock that person's teeth down their throat.

This guy has taken what is legal to do, and he is using it as a tool of intimidation on innocent kids and parents. I don't need the Constitution or a bunch of laws to tell me what is right and wrong. I know what that is. When a grown man intimidates innocent women and children he needs to have his ass curb stomped. Those are my principles, sir. I mean exactly what I say here.

So basically you think that feelings are perfectly ok to rule what we can and can not do. It's your opinion of how someone should act but that doesn't mean it's intimidation. He's making a statement as he wasn't pointing the gun, wasn't making threats, or anything as such. Feelings do not matter no matter how much the liberals whine about it. You don't have the right to "feel" safe.

What I find amazing is that you are talking about intimidation, but you've publicly stated that "I want to beat the crap out of this guy" and that "he needs to have his ass curb stomped." So your principles are to beat someone up or hope that someone else beats up someone who has done nothing legally wrong? Yeah, those are great principles to have.

There's a big difference between a someone you disagree with and a raving lunatic who's clearly a danger to himself and anyone who happens to be nearby when things go sideways. And they will go sideways.
