  1. Welcome to Tennessee. In the words of the immortal Lewis Grizzard, "Come on down here. Breathe our air. Eat our food. Marry our women. There's just one thing we ask of you - don't tell us how you used to do it back in Brooklyn."

  2. I just put each handgun in a Bore Stores pouch and stack 'em on the shelves. As long as you don't just throw them in there, you can stack 'em as high as space permits and never worry about scratches or damage.

  3. A friend of mine sent me this from the Bersa gun forum and I found it very informative and had some interesting stats. The man that made the survey spent a lot of time creating it and I think it seem pretty accurate. Makes a good read on a rainy day. I know there will be a few pesimists to this so after some folks have read it maybe we can have a non argumental discussion. https://www.buckeyefirearms.org/alternate-look-handgun-stopping-power

  4. Just wanted to throw out a big huge CONGRATULATIONS to 5 guys who have been students of mine in the past who achieved either Dark or Light Performance Pins this past weekend at Gabe White's Pistol Shooting Solutions class in Waverly TN. These guys all post here too from time to time so I also look at it an achievement for the whole TGO community. While I can't take all the credit for their performances , I hopefully at least inspired them if nothing else to work hard to improve their skills and struggle for perfection. So congrats to Miller_Man, Chances R , Aqil, Taylor, and Byrl (not sure as to his handle on TGO) You guys ROCK and make me proud. Keep up the good work. For those not familiar....http://www.gabewhitetraining.com/performance-awards/

  5. All the years of off and on illegally possessing, just used whatever hollow point I saw first. Did some research when I first got permit and went with Golden Sabre, also 'cause local cops used it. Built up a stash over time so have just stayed with it, don't shoot it up often. I'm sure it will still be adequate if I do my part. - OS

  6. He's gonna get in trouble if he tries to add yet another safe to the mix.

  7. You can also get wire brushes, scotch-brite balls, and flap wheels that will fit a drill or die grinder.

  8. Best solution, buy another safe. Just like guns, you can't have too many.

  12. I use the nylon coated gun hangers like mentioned above. I've never had any issue - and they seem to do exactly what I want.

  13. These are the two solutions I used. Hangs multiple handguns side by side under shelf above long guns https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AWHLTYM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Holsters with velcro to fit in where ever I need them, I bought from two different sources, slightly different, booth good. Wife added a couple of stitches to a couple for some smaller guns. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FEJ3YMI/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 My second safe also came with multiple holsters on the door and I may add some more, non velcro types. Still running out of space too, so hoping for some additional ideas.

  15. I have a door organizer that holds some of the small stuff that was taking more space than it should have. If you have ammo in there, I suggest pulling it all out and reorganizing it. I picked up a fair amount of room just changing the way I stack it.

  17. My brother and I have screwed the cloth over the door shoe holders to the doors of our safes. Cheap and can hold a ton of stuff. Also have socks on a lot of stuff and stack them deep.

  20. I was confused which side of the River Darryl and the others were relative to Rick. I know which side they were supposed to be on to make sense (the walker side), but it looked like they were on the same bank that Rick would have been on. They need a map like the Lord of the Rings and Song of Ice and Fire novels. Probably someone on the internet has tried to map out the main locations. I know that they have to film where they can, but it was a little confusing how they filmed it.

  22. Ruger 10/22 10/22 10/22 77/22 96/22 GSG-5pk SBR Single Shot bolt action that I can't remember the manufacturer of right now. AR-15 with dedicated 22 upper. That doesn't seem like all of them. I'm pretty sure something is missing from that list. And I've had several more that I sold that I wish I hadn't. Man I love 22s.

  23. Congrats, @Cruel Hand Luke!!! Awesome pistol wizardry as always! And I've got a bunch of photos and videos for you too. Hopefully it won't take me 80 years to get it organized and send you a link.

  25. Yes indeed, congrats to CHL on the turbo. Those times are based on the times of the elite shooters, and therefore those pins are definitely earned, not given, through dedicated practice in “ pistol marshal arts.” Also thanks to CHL for guiding and instruction in my journey of defensive pistol shooting. Gabe White is truly a professor in pistol shooting, both for competition and defensive use. It was a great class and getting to rub elbows with very skilled classmates, some known throughout the pistol community, was an awesome experience.

  27. Gun socks are the way to go. You can pile them up in there and if you don’t take advantage of the attached labels then every time you go into the safe can be a new adventure in discovery.
