  1. You can get sports packages through Sling TV for an extra $5 per month. One of the things I like best about streaming TV is the no-contract thing. For example, when Game of Thrones runs, I sign on for a couple of months to HBO Go, when that's over I cancel. During times of the year when I'm busy, I can cut back, at other times I can add what I want. I spend much less, and actually use what I pay for now. I've been off Dish for several years now, as for cable, it's not a thing out here in the boonies anyway ...

  6. Hulu is offering a 99 cent per month for 12 month offer through today. It has limited commercials on that plan but a great way to try Hulu. https://www.hulu.com/welcome

  12. Almighty God, Please forgive my sins of this day, in my thoughts and words, what I have done and failed to do. Thank you for the gift of your son, Jesus Christ, who gladly takes my sins and burdens upon himself each and every day and whose blood washes me clean and makes me acceptable before you. Jesus, please let you be in my heart and in my mind and upon my lips and help me to reject Satan and all of his works, and resist the glamor and temptation of sin. Please have mercy on me, a sinner and help me be a better Christian tomorrow than I was today.

  21. No completely shrouded, about 4" exposed. (Barreled receiver not installed) And yes, 10 round mags, I ordered 2- 20 Red Ball. The downside I see is how far they extend from the magwell. A quick inspection reveals the magwell has an removable/replaceable adapter, makes sense for different caliber HP mags, but maybe future potential like the Ruger PCC.

  24. Yea, the guy was a idiot to use a bump stock. I mean, if you are going all out to compete a mass murder, why don't you just get a DIAS, or drill the hole and call it a day? I don't like the fire bump stocks are taking more than any of you, but the reality of it is, they felt like they had to throw the public a bone. There is quite a bit of support in the country for a all out AWB, much more restrictive than last time. Right or wrong, Trump thought he had to give them the bump stock to protect our other rights. Agree or disagree, I understand the reasoning. Some around here like to throw out that how Obama was better for the 2nd than Trump. The only thing that kept Obama in check during his second term what the republican legislature. Given the chance, does anybody actually think Obama wouldn't have taken your guns away?

  25. The theory is that when you lower taxes, it makes the economy better and the government takes in more taxes. This can work if you do it right. I agree though, both parties spend way too much. As far as Trump and the bump stocks, I don't like it, but he will still probably get my vote in 2020. What else you going to do, vote for a Bernie or Liz Warren, or are you planning on throwing your vote away to a third party? Sometimes you just have to play the hand you've got. You've also got to look at the big picture. Ruth Bader Ginsburg has one foot in the grave, and rumor is another justice may retire. Long term 2nd amendment success depends on a conservative supreme court, because sooner or later the Dems are likely to get back ahold of 2 branches, and it will be scorched earth toward the 2nd amendment.

  28. So I made this Seax ....a very loose interpretation on my part of a broke back Viking/Saxon Seax. No...it's not historically accurate and don't claim it to be in any way shape of form. It's made from 1/4" thick 1070 carbon steel with texture and etchings in the blade. The handle has textured front and rear cast iron caps with pieces of copper, G10, bog oak, walnut and ash in between. The white ash has brass inserts and there is a good bit of carving in the handle. It is of hidden tang construction and the tang goes straight through the back and is threaded and capped. 12" blade and 17 1/2" OAL Here is my questions to all of you. While this blade is perfectly serviceable as a weapon I'm thinking it may be displayed more than carried. Keep in mind the more options I'm about to offer up the more expensive It gets. So take a look and give me your thoughts and any additional ideas you may have and thanks. One option is to offer a simple display stand along these lines... Another is to offer a covered yet removeable case something like this...and can get expensive. Another is to offer a nice leather yet practical leather sheath something along these lines ... Another option is to offer a more period looking sheath but doesn't really afford a modern belt carry option..
