  2. This Hi-Point Model 995 is chambered in 9mm. It comes with 4 mags and a stock sleeve with mag pouches to tame the fierce recoil of a 9mm round from such a heavy weapon, LOL. Seriously though, it's a ton of fun to shoot if you ain't worried about shooting ugly guns (no offense meant to you Glock Fanboys). $200 and this beauty is yours, I'm in La Vergne, TN but will try my best to accommodate a reasonably close meeting place. PM me if you have any questions. Would trade for 9mm and/or 5.56/.223 ammo.

  4. I picked this up here on the forum in a trade. It's a gorgeous gun and it shoots great, I just never take it to the range. I fired exactly 12 rounds and put it in the safe. PM me if you have any question and I'll do my best to answer them. Price: $700, Location: La Vergne, TN Would trade for 9mm/.223/5.56 ammo.

  6. I was recommended this forum through a friend on Reddit actually but I think I’m going to like it here! I’m a lifelong resident of East Tennessee and I love and grew up around guns and all the outstanding outdoor experiences accessible to us here. I used to enjoy hiking, fishing, and camping in particular has always been my favorite. I’ve lost four toes in the past year and a half and am transitioning into disability and limited mobility but camping and range time are still doable, and I’m discovering and enjoying connecting with these communities and forums for local folks with similar interests. I’m a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and I’m very grateful to live in a state that supports our rights, and personally I feel exercising that right is not only a privilege but also a duty. Many lives have been sacrificed to protect these distinctly American rights and that resonates deeply and is not lost on me. I sincerely feel that an armed populace is a peaceful populace and believe that if more citizens fulfilled their duty of responsible firearm ownership and carry that there would be substantially less headlines of people being victimized. I look forward to hearing from y’all and thank you for allowing me to be a part of this community!

  9. For sale is a CZ 2075 D RAMI for $600. CZ discontinued this model in 2020 for some stupid reason because it's one of the coolest pistols they ever made. This one is located in La Vergne, TN, but I'll do my best to make a meetup convenient and easy, if I can. PM me if you have any questions or need a specific pic I left out. This RAMI is a 9mm subcompact with a 3" barrel This is a BD model with a decocking lever instead of a manual safety It comes with 2 mags: a 10-rounder for concealed carry and a 14-rounder with a sleeve for a bit more purchase on the gun The grips are G10 Starburst texture for extra grip (if I find the original thick rubber ones before it sells, I'll include them) The coyote brown Cerakote finish is not original. The previous owner had it done. Whoever they used did a spectacular job. It looks great, IMO! The original case, owners manual and other paperwork, and the original sights are included I took it to the range today and ran one of each mag through it before cleaning it up to be sold. It ran like a top and I almost didn't make this post, LOL. Here's some pics:

  20. Good for you, TNPhil. You haven't mentioned, but In case you don't yet have a scattergun 12ga, it's just a primo "nice to have", inside the abode or out. Incredible versatility, especially on some acreage. Even a beater has-been from a pawn shop can do. I've cut a handful of 28" full chokers down to 18 1/2", trimmed the stock to 12.5", and they sit at 34" overall. (About the average short AR platform.) A simple squaring off & chamfering and these now "cylinder bore" bbl's print slugs at 60yds at 7", just like my 870 Rem Wingmaster pump with the slug bbl/ sights. At night, inside the abode, it's hard to better a scattergun with 00 or #4's in the hands of your loved ones.

  21. I don't know all the details of the "Big Beautiful Bill" , but if the various things I'm hearing are true, I'd be fine with leaving suppressors in the NFA for a while longer and it not pass.

  22. I didn't have the numbness until I started taking the drugs. If I do very little they are numb. If I do a lot with hands they feel like hitting the funny bone. They aren't white with poor blood flow. Rained a lot yesterday so I stayed busy and got them tingling pretty good. Had a hard time getting to sleep. (Check the 410 reloading thread today's entry.)

  23. No update on the order of pilots so I canceled it. Took the .452 pilot to the drill press and sanded it down to slide into a brass 410 shell. Got 88 of 100 casings trimmed. Some are cracked and will be trimmed shorter. Some heads wouldn't seat in the collet, guess to big. Some necked had to be expanded a bit to fit the pilot. I used the hand crank instead of the drill. Fingers were tingling when finished. Guess that's from the chemo drug. 3 more days to finish them.

  24. I have bought several on GunBroker before they changed and a few at live auctions. I learned after the first time, do your research and set a max bid that includes all seller/buyer fees and stick to it.

  25. After all of this great feedback and more research, I believe I have decided to build an AR-15 that fits my specs and modifications. This would assist with options for hunting as well as home defense. 300 BLK would be my primary build, and I will be looking for deals on other caliber uppers in the future. The next thing to begin researching and discussing would be rifle vs pistol for my primary build. Looking forward to this adventure in the AR platform while bellowing my 2a right along the way

  27. So for the last few months I’ve been working towards a production manager job at work, and in Late January it became all but imminent that as long as I didn’t screw the pooch it would be mine when it opened up. So to celebrate the fact I went ahead and put in a call to American Classic Gunleather for a BBQ rig to go with the classy N frame I had for it. The gun is a 25-5 4” smith in .45 Colt wearing Culina Claro Walnut grips, and the leather is American Classic Gunleather legend Holster, with a full floral carved belt and 6 round slide to match. I couldn’t be more ecstatic at how they turned out and they showed up on the same day as my final interview for the position. So Cheers to all of you on this fine Saturday!

  28. It damn sure can be. I started as an engine installer on the rigging line 10 years ago and moved up through team lead into supervisor. I’ve supervised in rigging, final finish and holecuts before moving to my current role of assisting all 3 Assembly supervisors

  31. He promoted to plant manager. We both changed to a different division of the company in October of last year, he came over as assembly manager and I can over as a supervisor after they fired the previous plant manager and a couple supervisors in September for lying about product numbers. He moved up to plant manager in February which opened up his job and I started filling that role then, waiting in the dust to settle for the job to actually get posted and now it’s clenched

  37. It’s some of the best looking leather I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot considering the other holsters I have for this gun are a Gator Skin Simply Rugged and an El Paso Saddlery
