Let me start off with saying if you feel unable or unwilling to do the following care instructions then these aren't for you. Care Instructions 1. Keep your knife clean after each use. 2. You can wash your knife with soapy water. 3. Immediately dry off the knife. 4. Apply mineral oil or vegetable oil after use for long lasting results. 5. NEVER PUT YOUR KNIFE IN THE DISHWASHER!!! Made from 1/8" thick D-2 steel. Rockwell hardness is 58-60. They have camel bone and G10 handles. I'm not providing a block with these as one of the magnetic style blocks would be best. Your home and style and price range depends on what block you'd like. The magnetic blocks are all over Amazon, Ebay and o places. Price is $225 shipped for the set. I will only sell as a set.12 points

I have what I believe to be is an unfired, LNIB Winchester 1886 Extra Light in 45-70 for sale. Made in Miroku, Japan. Includes a brand new and uninstalled Lyman receiver sight. This thing is absolutely beautiful. They don’t make this model anymore. $1225 cash FTF around Columbia to a Tennessee resident over 21 years old who is legally eligible to own firearms. HCP preferred. Not really looking for any specific trades but you never know. Could always use a Trijicon RMR HD.4 points

I know many don't like to speak of this, but it is a fact for all of mankind. The Bible says, "Every Knee will Bow before Christ." That means Yours and Mine. Do it in this realm, one is ok by faith, in the next realm, too late. Just come home from our nephew's funeral in Montgomery Alabama. He was our first extended family death, "Before His Time" we have experienced. Mark was 64. His death was totally unexpected. He had heart problems from about 18. May have had problems before that, but he found out, in the military, for sure. It was so bad they discharged him out of basic training. He entered training for the "Blue Beret" wing of the Air Force. The training was very strenuous. That is where he found out he had Heart problems. His wife and family are devastated. As we sat in the church yesterday, and saw all the people she had to greet, it was hard. He had 3 boys, one of which was killed in a stupid road rage situation, not his fault. Their son was 31. He was a passenger in a car and was thrown out and killed last year. His mother lost him and now her husband of 35 years. I was sitting there thinking, one had better be ready to meet God and Jesus, "NOW", because we are not knowing when our number will be called. Mark was a Christian. That is the only comfort his wife and family can gain from this situation. The son was a Christian also. Are you guys ready to go? I am. If not, you need to find Jesus and become a faithful follower of Him. Judgment is real and will be faced by all, in the next realm. "The Realm Of Departed Spirits." Learn about it from the pages of the/your Holy Bible. "It is truth, Guys!" Edited to add: Read about our impending death in (Luke 16:19-31) It is red letter text, straight from Jesus Christ words, recorded for us in Luke. That will be our next realm should Jesus not come back to earth before we meet our death first.4 points

Raised in Middle TN, came back to raise a family of my own. Long-time gun owner and avid shooter, needing to get back into a groove with more regular range visits. Open to suggestions for ranges--I prefer outdoors and steel targets. No place better than TN.1 point

hey guys, here is my Sig 38. Bought new at Franklin gun shop a while back and like new condition complete with box all the accessories that came with it paperwork, etc. Does include Hogue aftermarket rubber grips and the original rose wood grips. These are still available from SIG in the $650-$700 range . I priced mine at $550 for a like new gun. I can meet in Brentwood Franklin, Williamson County Nolensville, etc. with a little bit of notice. Please reach out to me through TGO with any questions or offers. I’m available most the time and be glad to meet you at a mutually convenient spot. This gun has less than one box of shells through it. Been a safe queen ever since let me know if you have questions thanks1 point

Wow! I can hardly believe these primers haven't sold at that price. If I were in the neighborhood, I'd buy them, even though I have plenty of SP primers. Good luck with your sale!1 point

I'm not sure of the term. I saw it years ago in a you tube video and liked it so I started to incorporate it into my knives off and on over the years. I've made dozens of knives over the years using some form of that look.1 point

I’m sorry for your family’s loss. I’m glad they were saved. Even putting eternity aside for a moment, I cannot imagine having to go through life here without Him. much less having to spend eternity without Him.1 point

I've owned a Taurus 85 as well as a 650. both in polished stainless. Wish I still had the 85 but the DAO on the 650 was not great. Plan to add a 605 to go with my 608 for those days when I just want something really heavy.1 point

The last verse of that passage speaks to these times well: "But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’ ” How many are looking for some miraculous event or sign to convince them of Gospel truth before they will surrender to Jesus for salvation? If I were to die today as an unbeliever, I would be a fool for waiting for further evidence other than the thousands of times I have heard the truth preached or of the many times that God called me to Him by His Spirit. "Now is the day of salvation" 2 Corinthians 6:2 says, not tomorrow.1 point

Around 18/20 degrees but I do most of the sharpening on my 2X72 grinder and then use a strop. Easiest way I've found is use a diamond stone and strop to keep them sharp. I don't have a clue about the commercial knife sharpeners but I'm confident it would work on D-2 steel.1 point

Dang these are tempting GT. There's not a day that goes by where I don't use a kitchen knife. What is the suggested method for keeping a sharp edge and what angle are they ground on ? I use a commercial kitchen sharpener that does a double bevel edge.1 point

I wish I had Smith money! I'll bear it in mind, but it's really a .38 I'd like. I've got enough loaded .38spl ammo to wear out several revolvers & maybe 20 .380s left for my LCP!1 point

Hey there, I'll throw in the Pelican for an additional $150. The foam cutout in it currently comes from "Gunformz.com". It's a harder foam. I have the original, uncut, piece of top foam as well. The top foam is cut out for the SP5 (with option for a stock), mags, a suppressor, and an HK HSP Tactical 9 and mags. The HK USP 9 Tactical is also for sale if you happen to be interested.1 point

I think the Gen 6 will be a redesigned slide doing away with the optic plates and going with the pin setup. They might include the Performance Trigger with it as well as more aggressive texturing and undercuts on the frame.1 point

Yeah, I started with revolvers as a kid, so I still think in terms of careful shot placement even with a semiauto. I’d rather have a slightly slower shot time, and hit my target, than a faster one and miss three or four times.1 point

I use both. Rem Oil for on the spot lubing when needed at the range and quicker cleaning jobs, CLP for deeper cleans and when I know the gun is going to sit around for a bit. There's a clear viscosity difference in them, so they aren't interchangeable. Both good products.1 point

I have never really adopted HK as a carry / competition platform. For daily use, there is usually something else in the safe I would rather shoot or carry. However, there is something about them that makes me buy them when I see a good deal on one. I would have absolutely no problem using a HK pistol as an end-of-the-world sidearm, since they are basically bombproof.1 point

Sorry there is no data showing this to be true. You may think that but that does not make it true. I have looked and I have asked this very same question here in the past. I can not find and no one can provide an example of an open carrying person to be the first target when things so south. For a criminal getting in a gun fight is the last thing they want. (Unless they are just there to kill everyone anyway) If a bad guy sees someone armed they are much more likely to go find a softer target than to just shoot at the guy with a gun to get him out of the way. That's why most all self defense classes teach to make yourself a hard target. Ever wonder why gun shops are hardly ever robbed? Most conceal carriers are not that concealed anyway. I spot them all the time printing or otherwise showing they are armed to anyone paying attention. There are plenty of good reasons to conceal carry but this is not one of them.1 point

Be careful out there, Rob. Me and the old lady missed a deer today by just a hair. I had the back brake locked, and was pulsing on the front brake hard as I could and still not lose control. I’m sure glad I’ve ridden for a long time and wasn’t a newbie. We’d have crashed, and nearly did so anyway. She handled it well.0 points
