  1.   That's been there forever and it's the same info I could pull about you or anyone else thanks to the fact that Tennessee's HCP records are public information.  He's been trying to bait me into a legal battle for years but I honestly couldn't care less which is what makes him completely powerless.   Sooner or later natural selection is going to strike and he'll be a statistic.  When it happens, I plan to visit his grave and take a nice big dump on it.

  2. I've always been a fisherman and recreational shooter. I decided last year to start hunting. Every time I went out I had zero luck. When 2013 came, I made the resolution to shoot a turkey, deer, and duck. This season I came close to a turkey but couldn't seal the deal. Took a shot at a deer but missed. With the end of 2013 looming, I decided to try for a duck today. I went out and got on some pretty fast. I took one shot and two birds fell. I cleaned one and the other is in the freezer for mounting. The good thing about just getting into hunting is that I can mount all my firsts. 6. I'd told a friend of mine about the stippled parts you could get for M&P's. He ordered a set for his and really liked them. This morning he brought me a set for mine in Coyote. I put them on and then broke out the tactical crayon for the paint fill.

  7. Thanks for the information guys. I want to start with 9mm then move to .45 . I have a friend that is helping me choosing my reloading equipment. He uses the single stage press said that is about the best way to start out with being simple and learning more along the way about how each step works .

  10. woohoo, voldemort thread.  These are my 5th most favorite TGO threads.    Just for those curious my order goes   1. anti Obama/obamacare threads (they are always full of pictures and memes which keeps it simple for me) 2. pro gay-anti gay-can we please stop talking about gays threads (come on, you all know you love them) 3. AR vs AK threads (haven't seen one of those in a while, maybe i should start one) 4. Glock vs 1911 vs whatever threads     most of the threads are pretty decent, but those 5 have a tendency to result in some hilarious posts.  Honestly, i just commented to make it easier to follow.

  11. It's been the Staff's opinion for a long time that this asshole gets enough of the wrong kind of attention on his own without our forum sending more his way.  Of course the tide has turned on him in the past few years as his antics have failed to produce the sort of windfall he's been hoping for, and the attention he's getting now is more of the type he deserves.  Like I said... karma is a bitch.

  12. Yeah, I saw this crap. What's worse is that I saw someone post "If you don't like it don't go to the church". Which made me think: If you don't like guns, don't buy one If you don't like this country, leave it If you don't like a Christmas sign, don't look at it If you don't like getting arrested, don't break the law The list goes on and on, but I bet you my last bite of food the person who made the above statement argues all of my statements.

  16. The U.S. government has just passed a new law called: "The Affordable Horse Act" declaring that every citizen MUST purchase a horse, by April 2014. These "affordable" horses will cost an average of $24,000-$155,000 each. This does not include taxes, trailering, training, feed and farrier fees, boarding, show and transportation fees, veterinarian bills or the occasional hospitalization. This law has been passed, because until now, typically only wealthy and financially responsible people have been able to purchase horses. This new laws ensures that every American can now have an "affordable" horse of their own, because everyone is "entitled" to a horse. If you purchase your horse before the end of the year, you will receive 4 "free" saddle pads; not including monthly usage fees. In order to make sure everyone purchases an affordable horse, the costs of owning a horse will increase on average of 250-400% per year. This way, wealthy people will pay more for something that other people don't want or can't afford to maintain. But to be fair, people who can’t afford to maintain their horse will be regularly fined and children (under the age of 26) can ride their parents horse to show on until they turn 27; then must purchase their own horse. • If you already have a horse, you can keep yours (just kidding - no you can’t). • If you don't want or don't need a horse, you are required to buy one anyhow. • If you refuse to buy a horse or can’t afford one, you will be regularly fined $800 until you purchase one or face imprisonment. Failure to ride your horse will also result in fines. People living in the inner-city; low-desert, or who live in cities or areas with no access to stables or show-rings are not exempt. Age, fear of falling, no equestrian experience, neither horsemanship skills, nor inability to ride are acceptable excuses for not using your horse. A government review board (that doesn't know the difference between the withers, fetlock or tail of a horse) will decide everything, including: when, where, how often and for what purposes you can use your horse … along with how many people can ride your horse and determine if one is too old or healthy enough to be able to ride their horse. They will also decide if your horse has out lived its usefulness or if you must purchase specific accessories, (like a $5,000.00 saddle) or a newer and more expensive green Warmblood from Europe. Those that can afford Fancy Hunters will be required to do so...it’s only fair. The government will also decide the name for each horse. Failure to comply with these rules will result in fines and possible imprisonment. Government officials are exempt from this new law. If they want a horse, they and their families can obtain a horse for free, at the expense of tax payers. Unions, bankers and mega companies with large political affiliations ($$$) are also exempt. I was going to order a new horse today, but the website was down, I’m sure they will fix it, I will try again tomorrow!!!! * BEWARE: Watch for bait and switch.* Some people have been receiving a Camel with a requisite Muslim which has been said to be part of OLiar's new immigration program

  17. The guy selling them would be in conflict of the law in the situation you described.   I don't know of any reason you'd be in violation of the law buying one from him. Maybe I'm wrong?     I don't know about you, but I'd have an unopened crate of Mosins for a coffee table, and ammo crates for end tables were I single.

  23. I would just go with the 16" it works just fine.  You gain about 20fps for every inch of barrel length so you are actually gaining a small amount.  The argument is that you dont loose much going all the way down to 8" or even shorter.     1:8 is perfectly fine for most weights up to 220 grain, if you go heavier I'd probably get a 1:7 barrel.  Id buy either if the price is best, both will work fine   adjustable gas block is a great asset.     Carbine length gas system will work fine for all supersonic ammo, and may work with subsonic but may not be reliable.  If you want the best of both worlds Id get a 16" barrel with a pistol length gas system.  Google Ron Williams Xtreme, he'll turn you a barrel for about $225   email rmwxtreme@verizon.net   If I were going to buy and off the shelf barrel Id buy one from Alpha Shooting Sports, good prices.  I have one in 10.5".  Appears they have 2 16" carbine gas in-stock   http://www.shop.ar15hardware.com/300-Black-Out_c44.htm   Or buy one from Rainier Arms   https://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=3385     Ive heard mixed reports on the AR Stoner barrels so I personally would steer clear of them.  Some gas ports were misaligned, may have fixed the problem but there are better options for the same or less money

  26. It has amazed me that it took this long for him to lose his FFL, and if it hadn’t been for his stunt in Nashville he may not have lost it. Every freakin gun hater in the country posts every story they can find about a nut job that passed a background check, and the media covered every one of his ridiculous events, but the Feds hand a license to a guy that has been deemed a likely danger to the public and had his HCP revoked by the state he lives in and the media stands silent. So the Feds want to push background checks on the states, but they can’t even do a proper one themselves for a firearm dealer. Goes to show you it’s worthless. More government work for people that can't do their job.

  34. First, saying "the hell with it" would be an idiotic business decision taking into account they always sell most everything they get in stock.   Second, I have read the sign many times and it says "Ammunition sales are limited to three (3) boxes per person". It says per person, not per family. If they mean per family, they need to put it on their little sign. My wife and I are two separate people.

For Christmas.  She loves it!  We are going to shoot it this weekend.  She's excited, which means I'm excited.  I really like the fact that it's made in the USA.  Over the last 5 years I've really tried to buy made in USA products above others, even at higher cost.  All x-mas presents given this year by my fan were made in USA.   Anyway, just had to share.  Merry Christmas TGO'ers.  Happy Holiday's, be safe, and protect your liberty. sq

  37. Simply not true.    Jesus/God hates the sin, not the person.  The people that are big Jesus/God fans don't hate gay people, I can only speak for myself, I hate the promotion of the sin.  Just like I would hate the promotion of  adultery, I would hate the promotion of murder, I would hate the promotion of stealing, I would had the promotion of lying, and etc.  A sin is a sin, there is no big sin or small sin.  For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).  When I had my life changing experience several years ago, did I stop sinning?  No, I still sin everyday.  But I am very conscious of it, and I feel quite remorseful each time I sin.  But I know someone died for me to make it possible for me to be in the glory of God someday.  Finally, where in John 3:16 does God exempt certain people?  For God so loved the world (no exemption to anyone), that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not parish, but have ever lasting life.

Gotten home sit down type it up nice and well written. Shot it off to walmart HQ and that stove manager will be getting a reply. If anything you will stop it from happening to the next guy. You can get mad and vent here. Put direct that energy.

  49.   In my thirty plus years of military and civilian government service, every oath I took was to defend and support the Constitution of the United States, not the constitution of a state, county, city or municipality. I do believe the U.S. Constitution supersedes state Constitutions and infringements imposed by lesser governments?
